I loved Las Catalinas. The place is beautiful, and where we stayed had very easy access to the Beach Club, the beach, restaurants, and stores, which made the stay very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The only point to improve was that I found the check-out time a bit early. Other than that, the experience was excellent and I would definitely do it again.
Jordanna and her team were awesome! We had a wonderful stay. The unit is Las Catalinas was spectacular. Perfect location. Easy to walk everywhere. We love the community and the town. The place was very comfortable and had everything that we needed.
Great place, very peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making for a truly restful stay. Would definitely book again!
Our stay was wonderful. The house was spotlessly clean, very cozy, and in a great location within the condo complex. The beach club is beautiful and all the staff were very friendly. My family was delighted with the experience. Communication with Jordanna was excellent from the start. She was always attentive and responded quickly to our questions. The place is simply spectacular. The little beachfront town is one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen, and it gives a special charm to the whole experience. The house is very nice, comfortable and cozy. The beds are very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean and well maintained. We would definitely return, and we recommend it with confidence.
As far as the property, it largely met expectations. Sure, little things were off here and there but that's normal. We left feedback to the hosts and I'm sure that they'll attend to it. Because it wasn't a flawless experience, we give it a 4.5/5. As far as the location, Las Catalinas is a pretty weird place. Given that you probably already looked up it's 20-year history, it's certainly very impressive in terms of scale and the level of detail. But whether it makes any sense to recreate a European-like settlement – with its faux aged bricks and an architectural hodgepodge – is another story. It feels brazen but shallow. Amenities were especially disappointing. Swimming pools were overcrowded, unsanitary, and flawed in their design. (In contrast, the pools at Hampton across from the Liberia airport were excellent.) Parking was on an uneven, unpaved gravel lot. The road to the settlement was pothole-ridden. Local restaurants and deli were expensive. Overall, we give the location 3.5/5.
Had a great experience with Jordana’s well located home for a six night stay with me and my two sons. The location is absolutely fantastic and you are not more than five minutes away from the beach, a stunning pool, a drugstore and a handful of really good restaurants. The walkability is a huge asset, and I was able to feel comfortable, letting my kids run off for a little bit during dinner while I ate because of the safe community. Her place had modern high functioning amenities like an electronic lock and laundry that was, quite frankly, better than mine at home. 5/5
Beautiful location. Family friendly. Perfect For Young and older. House had all amenities needed and was clean and spacious. Location was close To the drop off and close To Beach club. The host Casey was always responsive and gave recommendations. Will definitely be back!
Las Catalinas is a beautiful community. The home we stayed in was conveniently located near everything, the beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was a wonderful respite from the heat. The pool club and beach - not to mention the restaurants and trails - were all enjoyed by our family. Highly recommend for a few days stay.
It is the perfect place for families with the perfect location, the perfect amenities and the perfect service. Las Catalinas is a fantastic place. And the most valuable reason that makes this apartment awesome is the fact that the host give you access to the club, which is very close and perfect for the kids and family to enjoy time in addition to the beautiful beach. I am 100% sure that I will return. (Not related to Las Catalinas or the Apartment at all but the road to Las Catalinas has a lot of potholes, drive slow)

My husband and I stayed here with our two teenagers over April school break and had a wonderful experience. The condo was spacious, clean, comfortable, and a great alternative to a hotel/resort. We enjoyed the pool and beach club, scenic hikes, and local dining in Las Catalinas. We also did some excurions to surrounding towns and the diamante eco adventure park for zip lining. We also spent a fun half-day in Tamarindo, and Casey was incredibly helpful with recommendations, especially with parking and the Tama Market. A highlight was the short hike to Playa Dantita—we had the entire beach to ourselves. Overall, a fantastic stay—we would absolutely return.
Great space and perfect for what our family of four needed! Fantastic location! Easy walking distance to everything! Steps from the market, beach club, and all of the cute restaurants/beach area!

The place is nicer and more comfortable than what you see in the photos. It has more than you need, extremely comfortable, and fully equipped. Access to the club is wonderful. A good place to rest; no noise, truly private. Excellent for a family trip. The hosts are very attentive. Convenient parking, and all the staff at Las Catalinas were very helpful in general. I'd go back without a doubt.
Had an amazing stay at this condo, big plus is they gave us access to the Beach Club, my son really enjoyed the pool and the beach is right in front! Definitely would recommend it and would love to come back!
