We had a great time stay here what an amazing view. Kitchen was easy to cook in and had pantry staples. We loved Reina the cat she was adorable. We will definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sol in El Gigante. The view from the large terrace overlooking the small surf break (Playa Amarillo) was breathtaking, and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. The location is excellent, and thanks to the new road, most beaches and destinations along the Costa Esmeralda are easily accessible by car within a short drive. The hosts were wonderful, the air conditioning in the bedroom was a great bonus, and Reina, the sweet cat, made our stay even more enjoyable. We spent two full weeks at Casa Sol and can recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy this beautiful area. We would happily stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Luba's lovely home. Check in was smooth, they were kindly able to accommodate an early check in that day and the view is nothing short of spectacular. it is magical to eat your meals, drink your morning coffee overlooking the ocean and to be able to view two different beaches from the property. We had everything we needed to cook meals and very much appreciated the provided drinking water. Luba's cat Reina is a gem. our daughter adored playing with her. It can get very warm in the kitchen and living room area without having AC in those areas, but the AC in the bedroom runs great and there are enough different spots on the wrap around porch to find shade/breeze during the day. There are also two standing fans available to use wherever you need to. It is a bit of a haul to get luggage up the steep, short road you need to walk to get to the house but it is worth it when you arrive!

We recommend Luba’s place! It’s a beautiful view of the ocean, right on top of the hill. They were very helpful, always there for us. Reina is a very sweet cat. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a pleasure to stay at Luba's place. You'll get to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets, and the terrace is lovely for spending time. The air conditioning in the bedroom is a real plus, and her cat, Reina, is absolutely adorable! This is the perfect place if you decide to stay in Gigante, an authentic Nicaraguan village where tourism is still very underdeveloped.

We had such a great time staying Casa Sol! The view is breathtaking, we've seen some of the best sunsets of our lives and stargazing is 10/10 on the terrasse ⭐️ Playa Gigante is not full of restaurants and nightlife but it really didn't matter, given the beauty of the surroundings. Luba is super helpful and responsive when it comes to reccomendations or questions. Luba's cat Reina is a sweetheart who will make the stay feel even cozier 😻 If we come back to this part of Nicaragua we'd stay there again!

We had such a great time at Casa Sol and Luba was an amazing host. The views/sunsets from the deck were spectacular, and the beach that it overlooks is beautiful - great for swimming, surfing, etc. Reina (friendly cat) was a very welcome addition and made us feel right at home. Luba provided some local recommendations and tips and was easy to communicate with throughout the stay. If you’re considering a stay in Gigante, I can’t imagine a better spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Luba could not have been kinder or more helpful. She was super responsive and helped take care of our every need, often providing recommendations. The place itself was stunning - a little difficult to figure out where it is at first, but it is quite literally the house on top of the hill, overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately the power was out for a portion of our stay due to construction on the new Pacific Coast highway near town - no one’s fault! All in all though, we had a blast riding motorcycles around and enjoying the peaceful surfer vibe of El Gigante. I would strongly recommend staying at this Airbnb, it is probably the best in this area. Thanks again Luba!

The house was cozy and had everything we needed if we wanted to stay in to eat. Also, there were lots of options, within a walkable distance, to eat on the beach. We felt 100% safe to walk in the area. The locals were very kind and welcoming.

I visit my brother each year in this seaside village, and this is the first time I rented this location. OMIGOODNESS, the view is incredible. I spent a lot of time hanging out in the hammock with a direct view of the beach below and the ocean. I even had a front row seat to two sets of fireworks. The table and chairs and side couch were also nice ways to enjoy the porch. It is a short distance down the hill to a variety of restaurants. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well-equipped. The bathroom was clean and the cool shower water refreshing. I loved experiencing this seaside village through this AirBNB. I can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful time here and felt immediately comfortable. The view from the large terrace is simply fantastic. The two nearest beaches, the small supermarket in the village and a selection of restaurants are within walking distance. Luba is a super lovely host, very helpful and responds quickly. We would definitely visit again.:)
