Great stay! The location was perfect, close to the beach and good food. Booked on very short notice and felt very accommodated. Would love to return again!

I loved it here. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. As a solo woman traveling, I felt safe and comfortable. Colin and Yaya were so helpful and arranged transportation for me. I came here looking for a few days of peace and solitude and that's just what I got I cant recommend this place enough. I hope to be back someday

We stayed at the place for 6 nights and felt super at home. The surroundings are great, easy access to the beach and the skatepark and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Guiones has a super surfy vibe, which we love, and a stay at a surf hotel made the trip complete. We were there in low season and noticed they worked a lot on their property to get it ready for high season, which for us was fine. Expect laid-back, friendly vibes when you stay here ☺️

The place was incredible! The location was perfect as it was a 3 minute walk to the beach in one direction and a 3 minute walk to restaurants in the other. Colin and the staff were as helpful and hospitable as can be. I will definitely be returning, and would highly recommend to anyone else making the trip to nosara!

This really is a hidden gem in Playa Guiones! The location really can't be beat, a short walk to the beach and all of the restaurants, yoga classes and other amenities that make Playa Guiones so special. The property is a shady oasis from the heat with lots of tall mature trees and beautiful landscaping around the pool making it the perfect place to hang out and beat the heat. Or you can hang out on your private patio and read a book under the pleasant breeze of your ceiling fan :) The unit itself was clean and very spacious, and the AC kept us all comfortable at night. And Kelsey, Collin and the whole staff really made us feel like part of the family. This Airbnb is connected to one of the original surf schools in Nosara (Corky Carroll's) so renting boards and getting lessons from amazing instructors is a breeze. Or if a cool beverage on the beach is more your style, you'll never be let down by the beautiful sunsets :)

This was a great place to stay for a few days spent surfing and relaxing in Playa Guiones. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Everyone at Corky Carroll's (the surf school where this Airbnb is located) was so kind, friendly, and generous. It was worth it for that alone. Staying there also made it really easy to sign up for surfing lessons even though we weren't participating in the school's full surf camp. The location really could not be more convenient--we were easily able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Because of the central location, it can be a little noisy from the street and neighboring hotel/restaurant property, but things quieted down by 10pm every night we were there. Definitely not a reason not to stay, just something to be aware of if you are looking for something more secluded! We can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay here. It was very private, but right on the main street with easy walking to restaurants and beach. The room was simple and comfortable. We appreciated the patio and high powered ceiling fan that allowed us to enjoy the tropical temperatures and rain. The outdoor showers and pool were great. AC was good. Wi-Fi was a little lean at times but we didn’t need it much. There was some street noise due to the non stop tuc tuc traffic on the muddy street. The road in and the giant lake size potholes are no joke. The instructions to locate it were a little unclear, the map is accurate (not always the case) but the listing and directions didn’t indicate it was part of a surf camp. We ended up on the street outside a fenced gated property unclear on where to enter to check in. Parking is on the street.

Convenient place to the beach for surf vacation. The room was clean, had AC, and large common area for meeting others. Note that WiFi is only in the common areas - when I had meetings, the host Collin let me use his office space which was very nice of him. Breakfast was also included as part of the stay which was amazing after early morning surf. I wish the place was more fumigated because there were a lot of mosquitos in the room and in the common area. Also bring your own shampoo and conditioner for the bathroom.
