My husband and I traveled with 4 kids (ages 11-17) and the house was a perfect set up for us! Amazing pool and patio with canopies of trees that the monkeys come visit you daily in! Hammocks off every bedroom and down under the trees for watching the beautiful nature. The beach - what an amazing beach right in the backyard! My husband and I could sit by the pool and see and hear our kids playing at the water. The water is calm at the beach and safe! So many creatures everywhere from the monkeys, crabs, birds, huge iguanas, lizards, etc. - all right in your backyard! Bedrooms were air conditioned nicely. The main part of the house is not, but gets nice air from the large windows that open and are screened in plus the fans. Gabby and Brayan were super helpful. We had Gabby make us a dinner for the night we arrived and our flight was delayed almost 5 hours. She was so accommodating and still greeted us with a nice dinner - even though we were late.

This place was secluded enough to feel like you had your own private beach and close enough to town that you could be part of the crowd as well.

This place is just flat out paradise and amazing. It is almost surreal how amazing it is and is better than any six star resort ever could be. First off you have your own beach at the far end of a major beach with rock cliffs, which makes you feel like you are on your own desert island. You’re also very close to town with amazing restaurants, nightlife, and activity. Gaby and Brian, who take care of the estate are there always and are so attentive and helpful in every way! They even cook meals for you, which were just amazing. What was even more amazing is my mother was with us on the trip and was injured and we had to cut the trip short. Sitting outside on the deck near the pool is like being in a wildlife preserve. Every day we saw monkeys, squirrels, amazing birds, iguanas, and all sorts of other animals! They were so responsive and Dariush even refunded the nights we were not able to stay immediately.. We will absolutely be back here as soon as we can!

The location at the end of the beach was great, you can walk to The Pacifico for dinner but otherwise you will need a golf cart or car. The security doors made us feel very safe at night. The pool was clean. The howler monkeys were great fun but very loud at night just like their name suggests. Lots of iguanas, geckos, fish, crabs, birds, and regular visits by a coatimundi. Minor downsides: We brought an inflatable paddle board but having some kayaks available would have been nice but maybe risky from the owner's view. Don't leave anything on the beach unattended, but that goes for all of Costa Rica. We experienced some petty theft of flip flops and sunglasses while swimming. Plan to get up early to do things as the house gets very hot in the mid-afternoon. The bedrooms are air conditioned. Bryan and Gabi were wonderful caretakers and cooks. I highly recommend their meals. We stayed for 10 days and we had them clean it once halfway through. All in all, a wonderful stay.

Our stay was excellent, the home was private, clean and had amazing views. The beach in front was pristine and it was relatively easy to navigate around town with a golf cart. We had Gabby and Brayan prepare a meal for us on the first night and I would absolutely recommend that! The home felt safe and secure. This was most certainly one of the best AirBnB’s we’ve ever stayed in. We hope to come back in the future.

Dariush’s place exceeded all of our expectations and was perfect for our two families of 4 with kids. The property is every bit as stunning as pictured, with a fantastic beach view and private beach access. We all felt we could have stayed longer. Gaby and Brayan, the on site keepers, were always responsive and present but never invasive and their meals were unbelievable and provided both convenience and nourishment. The house has *everything* you need- beach chairs, pool noodles, hammocks, Tupperware, cooking utensils, laundry detergent, even toothpaste! This is by far the nicest Airbnb we have ever been on and we all agree we would go back in a heartbeat. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a monkeys and exotic birds. Beach is safe for kids- the waves were gentle. If you book this house, you will have the dreamiest stay, guaranteed.

It really is like having your own private beach. The scenery is gorgeous. Situated on the end of the strip of beach you may get a handful of people from places nearer town but for the most part it’s all yours. If you tire of the beach, head back towards the house and relax in one of the 4 hammocks. Need to cool off, the pool is just the right size and the views of the beach at sunset is gorgeous. The house itself is spacious and well appointed. The a/c blows nice and cool in the bedrooms. And town is a 3 min drive if you need to go to the market or would like a meal out. HOWEVER, make sure to request at least 1 meal made by Gabby and Brayan. The food is delicious and they are oh so nice. Strong recommend on booking this place. If it’s available you should grab the chance to stay here.

Worth every penny. What a beautiful spot! We enjoyed every minute we spent in this incredible location. Gaby and Bryan were beyond helpful and it is so nice to have them on the property. We felt safe, taken care of and communication with Gaby, Bryan and Dairush was a 10+. The major highlights of this home are the beautiful outdoor area and the hilarious monkeys. We will definitely be back!!! 5 stars across the board.

Wonderful stay for our family of 5! Early morning beach walks, monkey's and beautiful sunsets were a highlight. The house was wonderful and communication was easy between Gabby (who made us a great meal when we arrived!) and Dariush if we had any questions. It really is located in a prime location away from it all but walking distance (or a short golf cart drive) to get to some amenities! A wonderful reprieve from a brutal winter.

Trip of a lifetime for us. We loved the location and went spearfishing every day. Gaby and Brayan were exceptional hosts and took very good care of us! We got out for a fishing boat adventure, lots of pool, fire pit and canopy time. Seriously good vibes at this place. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The home was fantastic and our family loved it. Brayan and Gaby were super helpful while we were here and cooked some fantastic food for us. Sitting out by the pool you could see all kinds of birds, lizards, and even monkeys!

Best villa on in Coco, perfect location away from main strip, nestled up against the mountain. Lovely architecture, clean and comfortable.

Once again our family had a wonderful time at Dariush’s property, enjoying all the amenities the home has to offer, the amazing food prepared by Bryan and Gabby and the general relaxation Costa Rica has to offer. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay at Casa La Mar! We were a group of 3 families, each with 2 young kids and Dariush, Gaby, and Brayan were incredibly kind and accommodating and made for a relaxing family vacation. Would highly recommend for any group with children! The location was perfect - we loved being steps away from the beach and enjoyed seeing every sunset there. We rented a golf cart for easy trips to town for groceries and restaurants. We saw monkeys every day from the patio and pool! We had Gaby and Brayan cook every breakfast and dinner for us and can’t recommend it enough! Such a convenient and enjoyable way to do a trip with young kids. They were so accommodating of our kids and making adjustments for picky eaters and meal times that worked well for our kids. A huge thank you to Gaby and Brayan for hosting us and allowing the parents to actually enjoy their vacation!

My family had a wonderful time staying at Casa LaMar! We made so many great memories and all of the recommendations, including transportation and activities in the Guanacaste province we’re fantastic. From the recommendation on golf cart rentals to the tours and tour guides, everything went soo smoothly. Most importantly Gaby and Brayan were extremely friendly, very helpful and cooked us some amazing meals! We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the beautiful view from the pool area. We were even able to see monkeys in the trees nearby!! Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely look to come back in the future!!!
