Leo's property was absolutely beautiful with every amenity needed to relax and enjoy! Leo was always courteous and responsive and the staff was excellent!! We especially enjoyed the ocean views, the pool and BBQ grill... and Maria's cooking! We hope to come back for a visit in the future.

I have stayed at over 80 Air B&B's around the world and this home is honestly in my top 5. Leo's property is exceptional. Rarely do you fins such and beautiful home that is clean comfortable in a private location where you can easily walk to fun local beachside restaurants. The homes interior and exterior are an architectural gem, the space is beautiful with high ceilings open floor plan great kitchen and private suite in every room. The only thing better than the interior of the home is the outside space. The patio is large overlooking the Pacific Ocean great for night time gatherings. The pool is perfect for hot days and makes you feel like you are right on the beach. Finally the location can not be beat. The home is 100 feet away from the most beautiful semi private beach. We spent our days swimming, surfing, exploring nature and relaxing with a cold drink. If you are looking for a truly unique experience that is private, comfortable, fun and safe look no further!

Our time at Playa Maderas was exceptional. Stunning views of the ocean and a beautiful home. The outdoor living areas were well thought out and decorated. We loved our time here and wished we could have still stayed a couple more days. Maria and Urial and the other nightwatchmen were extremely helpful. We felt very safe and well looked after. We hope to return one day!

Villa Talamaya is a beautiful and private oceanfront home at the peaceful north end of Playa Maderas offering incredible views, a lovely pool and terrace, attentive staff, and thoughtful design. It is well cared for by Maria and Uriel and offers a tremendous value given its size and premier location. I can’t imagine there is a better spot in the region and can’t wait to return.

What an amazing place, like having an entire beach to yourself. Roads under construction so a little difficult to traverse, but wow is it so worth it. Can’t wait to return

The pictures don’t even do it justice. The house is more beautiful and spacious than pictures can convey. The service was excellent. All around amazing experience.

The stay here was absolutely incredible. It’s one of the only houses directly on the beach (which is why it’s pricier for the area). The house has everything you would need and all the bedrooms are comfortable with great A/C. Having the staff their for any questions and to help around the house was an absolute cherry on top. We hope to come back!

What a lovely beach escape! The design of the house is amazing with nautical inspired architectural features. The views from the back terrace are WOW - you get 180 degree view of beach, cliffs, surfers and beachgoers. Looking for amazing sunsets? This is the place. The infinity pool overlooking the beach is 10/10. The semi-private beach is spectacular and if you’re into surfing - there are breaks 100m (Maderitas) to the right and 1km to the left (Maderas). There are plenty of food/drink options at both beaches (you simply walk on the beach to get there). The bedrooms are excellent - everyone loved how cozy and cool the rooms were without needing to turn on the A/C (yes, there are split units in each bedroom). The house comes staffed (2 people) and they were excellent (green egg BBQ and cook!). The house and property were always kept clean and tidy. If it’s been rainy in the area, make sure your vehicle is 4x4. The definition of a perfect stay. Thank you, Leo!

We were a group of seven friends on a surf trip to Nicaragua. This place was absolutely amazing. The house has no immediate neighbors so you feel like you have your own private beach but with restaurants only 5 to ten minutes away with great surf right in front. The house is really well set up for groups or families and the staff are amazing. It’s a bit of an adventure to get here with steep muddy roads, but it makes the experience so much better when you arrive as you feel like you have discovered your own private paradise. Highly highly recommended !
