Awesome place. And Audrey was super nice. If you want to get the off grid Bocas expletive this is it, super close to the Salt Creek Indigenous community. And close to the Zapatillas. The house management Velemir ans Sambu will show you everything you want to see in and around bastimentos and the greater Bocas region.

Thank you very much. The house and the surroundings are wonderful, with absolutely beautiful vegetation and a very pleasant atmosphere. We went on several hikes, including one into the interior of the island, which was a very interesting experience. There is also a drink bar about a 25-minute walk away, run by a Belgian, who shared many fascinating stories with us. We would also like to thank our Sambu, who took great care of everything—thanks to him, we felt safe and well looked after throughout our stay. The house itself is beautiful and very spacious. There were three of us, and we had more than enough room. It can definitely accommodate a larger group comfortably.

Wonderful location for our family vacation! Children had a great time so much so in fact this is our second time visiting and can’t wait to return in the future. Wife really appreciated the well stocked kitchen with numerous pots, pans, cutlery and blender . Sambu the boat captain /caretaker was available to assist and able to arrange tours to interesting places always with a smile on his face .

We had a lovely week at the house on Bastimentos. The pick-up from Isla Colón by Fernando went really smoothly. We were able to do our shopping for the stay and load it conveniently onto the boat right away, while our luggage was waiting for us there with Fernando. It is important to buy absolutely everything on Isla Colón, as there is no option nearby the house. Spices, oil, and vinegar were provided. The house is exactly as described, and we loved the tranquility and seclusion. The hotel right next door did not bother us. Unfortunately, you can't really swim or snorkel right in front of the house—the water was too shallow and too murky for that. This is probably not always the case, and it was due to the time of travel. We paddled the canoes into the mangroves, hiked along the beach path to the other side of the island to snorkel there. And a visit to the village is also highly recommended!

We spent 7 nights here in early June (rainy season). Overall, we had a really amazing experience and would come back! The house is beautiful - just like the photos. We were worried about mosquitos but they weren't a big deal - the beds all have nice mosquito nets. My main critique: the beach immediately in front of the house that you see in the photos doesn't match reality - which was a little disappointing. There's a sea wall between the house and water and the sand has all been washed away and has some trash there. Not as pristine as the photos. That said, just to the left of the house is a long, beautiful beach with almost no one around. What else: The nearby indigenous village - Salt creek - and locals we met were amazing. Probably the best part of the whole experience. The tours / boat rides were really fun, but are expensive - make sure you discuss prices before you go. The family that meets you is awesome and around all the time if you need anything. We really enjoyed it!

Like every other review this place is incredible. We didn’t want to leave! Our tips would be - take more cash than you think you’ll need and a little more food than you think you’ll need. 😆 we ate at the restaurant one evening which was lovely and their chef is amazing but otherwise it was easy to fend for ourselves in the incredible setting. Touring the community is amazing (take your bug spray!) and the other outings were equally as memorable. We also toured the cacao farm in Dolphin Bay which was great! We were there with our twin boys who are 7 and not a moment of boredom! The house kitty was adorable and the boys named her Tinta (Valimir said she didn’t have a name yet so was happy she got one 😆) The boys are ready to go back!
