Thank you for the stay, really beautiful place. And special thanks you Marina, really great communication and attention. She was kind and friendly. We stayed one night to have a family birthday dinner after grandpa ashes ceremony and despite the circumstances all family enjoyed the place. Thanks again and highly recommended!
The house is beautiful with a beautiful layout that helps avoid feeling overcrowded and the noise disperse. It was very peaceful and comfortable. We loved it. The kids loved it. It was an easy vacation. Exactly what we were looking for.
This place is amazing!! Looks just like the pictures and so beautiful. Hosts are amazing, they let us check out late when we were having car trouble. Note for costa rica first timers: this roads all over this region are very very bumpy and unpaved, I recommend a vehicle with 4WD if you can!

This home was amazing and perfect for our trip to Costa Rica. Marina, the local manager, was amazing, so responsive and helpful, local recommendations, and more! The home is beautiful and blends so well with the natural environment with the open concept. We will definitely be back!
This place is unique for two reasons: its beautiful and functional design, and Marina, who was our contact person. We had a wonderful time at the house. Marina is a super nice person, open and very quick to respond to any questions you may have. We like houses with beautiful interiors, and this one was just that. The location was perfect for us (a family with two children) - quiet, yet we felt safe. A 3-minute drive away is a shop and Corazon cafe - a great place run by Marina and Daniel with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. In addition, there are excellent beaches a few minutes away where you can try surfing. A place really worth recommending.
This is a fantastic spot. Perfect for two families, or one large family. 4 Bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. You share, but have privacy. you have indoor , outdoor vibe. It was such an amazing experience and they have everything down, and all their staff is so nice. The stay was so amazing and I really hope to visit it sometime again soon. I thank Celina for opening up their home to us. Architecture and design blew me away. Nature meets minimalist modern design. Really amazing!
We loved this place but it would not be for everyone. It’s so peaceful, thoughtful prep for our arrival. Plenty of restaurants a short distance away. Not really walkable though we walked a few times. The hindrance there is a mile to the nearest beach and narrow dirt roads not entirely safe for walking. Love the four en suite bathrooms, but keep in mind water can only be running in one place at a time, the kitchen or a shower or the sprinklers. We figured out a system for our crew rather quickly. Loved having a pool right there. My son loved looking for all the creatures outdoors AND indoors. Living with lots of lizards and geckos does mean living with their poo, so sweeping may be needed. The a/c units in each room were efficient and a perfect retreat from the heat. Marina arranged for a nice traditional meal for us prepared at the house and that was so nice!! Thank you for having us, we loved our stay in your home.
The location is lovely and the property has potential, but our overall experience didn’t meet expectations. During our stay, communication with the property manager was smooth and attentive, which we appreciated. However, several important amenities were either missing or not working properly. There was no TV or microwave, the fridge was very small and unfortunately not functioning, and the pool was not well maintained—it had a lot of frogs and didn’t feel clean. These issues impacted our ability to fully enjoy and relax during our stay. After our departure, I reached out to the host to request a partial refund, but the response felt more like an attempt to avoid responsibility rather than an effort to resolve the situation. A late check-out was offered, but it didn’t really compensate for the inconvenience. With more attention to detail and guest care, this place could offer a much better experience.

Jason brought more people to the house then were on the reservation. Jason partied until 3am with loud techno music despite being asked to turn down/off. Jason stayed beyond the courtesy extended to him for a late check out. Check out is 10am we allowed him to stay until 1pm and he continued at the property until 1:30 pm Jason requested refund which was granted to him by Airbnb based on an issue with the refrigerator. In which our team was quick to respond. Our pool is pristine. Jason should understand Costa Rica is a simple and peaceful place possibly not suited for his needs. He may be better off vacationing in a hotel.
Celina has an awesome property manager, Marina, who answered all of our questions and requests quickly. She even got us groceries that we had requested prior to arrival! The rooms were well air conditioned and beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed the pool and the beautiful surrounding. The town of Playa Negra itself was wonderful- we enjoyed the beach and nearby restaurants! While we loved the house in general, we had a lot of problems with the hot water. Half of the house only had cold water in the showers and the pressure was very low. We ended up only using the showers on one side of the house. The living room and kitchen had no air conditioning but it was ok bc of the breeze that came through!
Can't say enough great things about this place. We will come back soon and often!
Wonderful stay with our four kids! Off the beaten path, but close to many activities, restaurants, etc. Great house for families or groups, comfortable, clean and quiet. Property manager, Marina, did a 10 out of 10 job with her responsiveness, recommendations and assistance in helping arrange activities, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend!
This home in the jungle is so beautiful and peaceful; it's within a long walk or short drive to multiple great restaurants as well as the beach (the beach right there is amazing). The 4 bedrooms are separated apart but the shared space in the middle is great for gathering. The deck and pool are very relaxing!
