Epic and beautiful home. Commanding view. The host Denise and the groundskeeper Carmen were both great and very helpful and responsive. We took advantage of hiring two of the private chefs that they recommended which were wonderful. We spent the days exploring the Hot Springs near La Fortuna and enjoying all the amenities of the springs resort. This home was perfect for three families. I would highly recommend.

Our family had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this stunning property. We watched jewel colored birds, peacocks, and hawks from the hot tub every morning. The house truly has everything you could ever want- blender for making margaritas, even an espresso machine! We would definitely come back again.

Denise and her crew were amazing. Will Definitely be back!!! The restaurant owner Andre’s who has a pizzaria very close to the house we went every day and made the food situation so easy.

The home was beautiful and just as described. Denise provided detailed information after booking with recommendations, service providers, and instructions. Carmen, the on site host was very helpful and responsive. A few things to note that we experienced, that were different than other properties we have stayed at: We had to chose our beds prior to arrival so they are prepared. You are only given the exact amount of towels per member in your party; the towels are switched daily. The hot tub requires 45 minute notice to Carmen to turn it on, as well as letting her know when you are finished so it can be turned off. While we were told there are power surges in the village, we were without power for over 12 hours and without running water for that amount of time as well (there was a broken pipe in the village). We had a bat in the master bedroom one night. You MUST have a 4 wheel drive vehicle or you won't make it up the hill to the property. It was a unique experience!

The place is incredible. Very spacious, secluded, and beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked. So easy to make a big meal for lots of people. The access road is very challenging and I would recommend a 4x4.

Denise and Carmen were extremely friendly and accommodating regarding answers to questions and suggestions starting before we even arrived for check in. The property itself was immaculate and much more spacious and beautiful than the listing photos portrayed. Looking out at the views of the Arenal volcano were just magnificent! The location was just perfect. It was far enough away from some of the busier towns like La Fortuna to feel peaceful and private yet close enough to these towns to allow ease of access for the many local activities we tried out (white water rafting, canyoning, ziplining, etc). We booked Chef Key Anchia to make dinner and it was fantastic! All in all, our only wish would have been to have booked this beautiful home for a longer stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The private chef was wonderful! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed the outside spaces. Our girls loved watching the horses next door. Plenty of room for our family.

Beautiful home with amazing views. Carmen was available for us 24/7 to help with anything we needed. Close to most of the activities we had planned.

My family and I had the most amazing stay in El Castillo. My kids won't stop asking to go back to "the castle house". The house had everything we needed and we felt like we had our own private resort. Denise was very responsive and helpful. Carmin was our local contact and was so kind and accommodating. We would 10/10 recommend this beautiful home.

We stayed here with a group of 6 adults and 2 children and really enjoyed it. The photos do not do justice to the house, and in particular, the view (which is breathtaking). Carmen was very responsive to every request we had and flexible in our arrival time, as our inbound flight was delayed by several hours. The power did go out a handful of times, but Carmen was able to get it back on each time within 5 mins and thus it was no issue at all. The house is 30 minutes from La Fortuna where there are lots of restaurants (there are a few closer as well), and plenty of other activities to do nearby as well. We also used chefs Kenneth and Kylie, who were phenomenal

Beyond dream home. The experience left all 17 guests so happy to be together in this beautiful home. We were able to have all 17 guests seated for every meal in the spacious island while our chef cooked for us. Experience of a lifetime! Cannot thank Denise enough for providing absolutely every item needed thru out the home. If you are looking for a true castle for all events this is a dream home. Denise covered every detail
