Stay with Emanuel

The place wasn't ready when we arrived. There were mosquitoes in the room and muffled noises at 4:00 a.m.

Emmanuel is friendly and kind, as are his brother and the main woman who helps run the place. They were responsive and able to help me despite my poor Spanish. Emmanuel speaks English well and made a great recommendation on who to hire for a local waterfall tour - excellent! Emmanuel also made the check out process easy - I paid for my dinner and laundry with my check out fee - so they treat you like family in a casual, friendly way.

This place was really awesome, you would not expect it to be by the location it is in. But these hosts do a really great job by making you feel at home. The included breakfast is a cherry on top, loved staying here. Only regret I have is not staying longer!

I had another great stay here~ the whole team is welcoming and genuine ✨️ great hot breakfast served to order in a lovely setting~ Wonderful room, clean, comfy bed & quality sheets & consistent wifi. Masive ceiling fan in this room(#12) with A/C & a mini fridge, parking is a few steps from the room & is included. ✨️Overall excellent stay, I highly recommend ✨️

This is my 2nd stay here and its been excellent both times. Its easy to find and check in is quick, friendly and in english. The bed & sheets are comfy and the shower is hot. AC works great as well as the ceiling fan. The onsite gated parking is included as well as their made to order breakfast served on a lovely patio. I already had plans but they mentioned they also serve dinner onsite as well. The staff is friendly & professional. The gardens are lovely and rocking chairs and outdoor hang out patio space is abundant. Come and enjoy~ you won't be disappointed. ✨ Highly recommend✨

Clean & well organized place✨ Good parking, Comfy bed, good ceiling fan and AC in the room with on demand hot water shower. Breakfast was included and there were good menu choices as well as a lovely eating area with large ceiling fans. There's a supermarket a few doors down and a pizza place across the street. Wi-Fi was consistent and I was able to work on several devises. Super friendly reception and crew~ ✨Definitely would recommend✨

Emanuel went out of his way to help with my many questions before arrival. My friend was the one who travelled. She appreciated the quaintness of the place as well as proximity. Emanuel helped her with bud tickets and to get a taxi to station. He is a very kind man. Much is gracias. Highly recommend his place

Great stay for a night in Liberia. Everyone who worked there was very nice and accommodating , and it felt very homey and comfortable there. The breakfast was great, and I met some fellow solo travelers there. It was a great, quick stay!

He was a really nice guy who can speak English very well. This is a family owned hotel with all of the family member helping there. He can arrange you a transfer as well.

We stayed at Villa Hermosa for the first night in Costa Rica after we landed in Liberia. Emanuel waited for us although we arrived very late in the evening because of our delayed flight. He greeted us very friendly and helped us with our questions about the bus to Nuevo Arenal we wanted to take the next morning. We immediately felt very welcomed and taken care of in Costa Rica. Our room was nice and clean, we liked the garden surrounding the houses. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and hearty. Also Emanuels mother greeted us warm-hearted and helped us get a taxi to Liberia. So we decided to book another room for our last night in Costa Rica before catching our plane back to Germany in Liberia. Everything was great like in our first stay. Only the bathroom had a single window that lead to the neighbors bathroom but that was okay for one night. We couldn’t find any better place in Liberia and we really felt good staying at Villa Hermosa!

The place was exactly as advertised and the entire family went out of their way to make me feel at home. I made a few friends with other guests and their coordination with organizing tours(including one less than an hour before going) were excellent. Great value and great people!
