Hola! Thank you for your coments. I am sorry that the parking policy is as such for the condo corporation at this time. I have been informed that the alternate gate/entrance now allows for guest parking! At least the road directly in front is fully lit and low traffic as it is a side road and there is a night security guard all night on the premisiles. The past renters were not able to close a window in the bathroom therefore I believe that is why some mosquitoes were present. Thank you for staying at our home!
Our family of 6 was in CR for 10 days and we ended our trip in Tamarindo. Pros: -Great location-walking distance to so much -Perfect layout for a big family -checked in a little earlier than the listed time Cons: -2 bedroom fans didn’t work -Pillows and bedding very cheap + uncomfortable -AC stopped working downstairs during the 1st night -Walls, doors, all surfaces felt very grimy and dirty—not a simple fix so we didn’t mention it while there -one of the 2nd floor bathroom windows wouldn’t close and let in tons of bugs- door stayed closed and all kids were scared to use it -master bath sink was so full of hair- wouldn’t drain & shower had hairs + soap scum -ALL sinks were dirty & wouldn’t drain -towels all smelled of mildew -dryer stopped working several times -neighbor woke our kids and cussed my husband out for parking in her spot-no mention in listing about not using parking spaces available -The whole unit feels very dated, dingy, dusty and just unkept and unclean

Thank you for sharing the issues below - the a/c in the kitchen unfortunately stopped working the evening you arrived, which was Xmas day therefore challenging to find an available service company. A repair technician was scheduled to come fix the ac the day prior to your check out and your preference was to decline access in order to not be bothered by this service. - thank you for informing me of the drain issue. This was addressed fully including toilets and all drains have been cleared 100% - the condo is cleaned every week. Tamarindo is a beach town and this is dry season and very dusty. It is a challenge to maintain every area pristine white. My cleaner regularly on a scheduled scrubs around door handles and hand rails and big traffic areas. My unit is completely repainted every 2 years. Unfortunately this is close to the time where the repainting will occur - the bedding is purchased from ikea and the local maxi Pali which is a sister corporation of Walmart. It is unfortunately not the highest thread count. - the window in the bathroom has slats and it is possible to close them manually. I am sorry you were not able to operate these. - the parking is not my personal decision but a condo corporation policy. Immediately across the parking space is fully light, very low traffic almost country road with a full time night security guard present. What was reported to me was that following the guard knocking at the door (at no later than 8 pm, and I believe your children were not babies or toddlers), my neighbour contacted me reporting that my renter, a man a compagnie by his child knocked at her door yelling and cursing angrily and aggravated instruction her that he would do no such thing to follow rules and would park as he pleases. This placed me in an awkward position. I appreciate that upon reminders you directly if the policy you agreed. - I am sorry that these issues prevented you from fully enjoying your vacation experience. Pura Vida
We loved the huge space spread over three levels. The master bedroom on the 3rd floor has very nice windows and view of the surrounding trees. We could hear the howler monkeys from our room. Each of our five kids had a place to sleep on the second level. The air conditioning worked flawlessly throughout the condo and we never ran out of hot water. We ate breakfast on the kitchen island but we preferred the larger table in the adjacent room for lunch and dinner. The pool was perfect for our children to splash in and for us to relax after a nice day at the beach (3-min walk). It is located in a quieter part of Tamarindo, which we liked, but still only a 3-min walk from downtown. Marie-Josée offered clear and helpful communication from the beginning. We would definitely book again.
My family of 6 really enjoyed this place. We were able to relax and see some of what Tamarindo had to offer.

Mj was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were 100% comfortable during our stay. She offered tips on where to eat and places to visit nearby. Mj's place is larger than I expected from the photos. Our family was very comfortable staying here. It was incredibly convenient that every room has a private bathroom because (no long waits for the shower after the beach). The apartment is minutes from the beach. Tamarindo was incredibly fun, safe, and family friendly place to be.
