We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view is beautiful. The space is well laid out and comfortable. We were worried about the steep driveway, but we got used to it pretty quickly.

Our family absolutely loved this house. It has the best views of the ocean.

My second stay at Casa Lucero, and for visiting the Pacific coast as two couples, I would pick this home every time. The flexibility to cook and the privacy of having our own pool with a very nice gas grill was a no-brainer for us. The house is well-stocked. The beds are perfectly comfortable, and the bathrooms are great. You will fall in love with the big wrap-around porch. From it, we spotted nesting macaws close by, a yellow-throated toucan, a fiery-billed aricari, and many other species of birds such as palm, blue-grey, and scarlet-rumped tanagers. There are two iguanas that make regular appearances. We named the one who lives in the culvert “Jorge”. We rented a 4 wheel drive Toyota Fortuner and had no issue with the driveway. It is steep, though, with some hairpin turns—totally worth it for the views though. This is the home I would build myself if I could build one in Costa Rica.

The pictures don’t lie - views in every direction. The pool is divine. Maria was incredibly helpful and helped us in a pinch when we had a significant car issue. We did have an issue with water not being available but Thomas and maintenance showed up very quickly and fixed it. The drive up to the villa is no joke and we found tour companies and Ubers wouldn’t come up however Maria arranged multiple cabs for us who were timely and affordable so it was no issue. Would love to stay there again.

This is hands-down one of the best Airbnb locations I’ve ever stayed with gorgeous Mountain View on one side and Ocean view on the other side. The property is well protected and felt very secure. Only wished we had less busy schedule and were able to enjoy hanging out in the house a little bit more during our stay. Make sure you read the manual before using the washer so that you don’t splash yourself with water. If you end up staying in one of those units in the higher hill, you will need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to climb up the slope. Would be nice to have an AC for the living room in addition to the ones in bedrooms for hot seasons. Overall, really nice and luxurious experience of staying. Maria is very helpful and responsive to questions and request.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view - Amazing place! But bring a four wheel drive as the way up the hill is very steep. The reward is the most beautiful sunset over the Pacific.

Drop-dead gorgeous home with private swimming pool/swim up bar and laundry on a secluded, top-of-the-hill location. It is a challenging driveway, which adds to the special feel of the place. Two bedrooms each with separate shower and bathrooms. Another bathroom by the pool/laundry room. Being mechanically inclined helps with the washer. Full kitchen, cooking utensils, outdoor grill, separate beach towels and regular towels, laundry detergent, dish soap; it’s all here. And the sunset views from the wraparound porch are incredible. Excellent instructions on area sights, how to operate everything left in a binder. María was our primary contact , and through W.A. (not allowed to name the app but she’ll tell you) was extremely responsive. Can’t wait to return, this time with my wife.

Excellent place, perfectly as described. A beautiful villa, quiet, with breathtaking views and an amazing sunset from the terrace. I've never seen such a well-equipped kitchen in an Airbnb. We would have stayed longer!! 😊

Beautiful house with amazing views. It was a fun adventure driving up the super steep hill to get there. Maria, the concierge, was very helpful during our stay.

beautiful village with a gorgeous view. loved staying in this lovely home. everything was labeled and easy to use. my only complaint was the checkout time being 10am. every other airbnb we have had has a 11 or 12 checkout time. we asked to extend to 11 but we're denied because they had a guest coming in at 3. so does every other airbnb we've stayed at. I feel 4 hours is plenty of time to prep the home. consider changing the checkout time, otherwise perfect.

Amazing stay. The property is even better than the pictures can show. The view is spectacular, the house is clean, the pool area is amazing. We loved sitting on the front deck in the afternoons to watch wildlife and the sunset over the ocean. Everything was clean, great ammenities and well-stocked kitchen. It was our favorite stay while in Costa Rica.

We enjoyed the beautiful views and private pool. We had fun watching the resident iguana that hangs out on the driveway. The check in process was easy with the concierge meeting us to follow her to the property. Driveway is steep and windy, but we felt comfortable driving in a small SUV even at night…just have to take it slow. We appreciated all the extra towels, including for beach/pool and AC in the bedrooms that worked well.

This place was incredible, no words can truly sum up our experience and the amazing views that came with this stay.

We were very impressed with being one with nature in the incredible Villa Lucero! The views from different angles delivered exactly what we wanted and the pool, after exploring the National Park and other parts of Manuel Antonio and Quepos, was perfecto! Maria Fernanda was prompt with questions and very helpful! Sheri’s place really had it all!
