We had a wonderful stay at this immaculate Airbnb in Tamarindo. There were only eight of us, but the house comfortably sleeps 10 people (and more with the trundle beds). There is a fantastic pool and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. It’s conveniently close to town, especially with a car or golf cart, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect place for an easy, laid-back vacation with family or friends.
We had an amazing time here. One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Great communication from the host and awesome amenities. We got golf carts to go into town and they were there when we arrived. We added on a chef to come cook one night and it was the best meal. Can’t recommend more!
One of my best experiences through Airbnb! Casa Cheetah was incredible and the staff went above and beyond for my group of girls, especially Viki. We never felt we were without what we needed and had great recommendations and amenities. Highly recommend! Also extremely close to the Main Street of Tamarindo with a ton of restaurants, markets, bars, shopping, cafes, whatever you could hope for.

What an amazing stay! I wish all Airbnbs were like this. The space was comfortable and great for a big group. Viki was amazing - she helped coordinate our transportation, boat day, reservations, private chef and golf cart rental. My friends kept thanking me for the planning, but really it was all Viki. The home is in a nice neighborhood that is super close to the beach and town. The pool is awesome - we really enjoyed hanging outside. We would definitely return.

We loved our stay at Casa Cheetah and highly recommend it! The property is beautiful both inside and out, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms were spotless, the bedrooms were spacious, and the entire home is thoughtfully designed, making it feel warm and welcoming. Pam is a wonderful host with excellent communication. Although our stay was short this time, we enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning to return for a longer vacation with family and friends.

We were not informed prior to booking that a cat regularly comes onto the property. This was a major issue for us because we are allergic to cats. Upon arrival, the host mentioned that the cat normally comes to the house, but this should have been disclosed before we booked. Throughout our stay, we had to repeatedly ask for the cat to be kept away from us. In addition, we informed the host before our arrival that we planned to have a birthday dinner outside. However, on the night of the dinner, a raccoon came near the outdoor dining area, which made us extremely uncomfortable and prevented us from enjoying our dinner outside. The chef did not appear surprised by the raccoon, which made it seem like this may be known on the property. Had we been informed in advance about the possibility of cats and raccoons coming onto the property, especially given our planned outdoor birthday dinner, we would have been able to make an informed decision before booking.

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, we never advised, before or upon arrival, that a cat regularly comes onto the property. The cat that briefly crossed the backyard during your stay is a neighborhood cat that roams freely, as is common throughout Costa Rica. It does not live at the villa. While we respect your experience, the concerns expressed in this review relate to encounters with local wildlife rather than the quality of our home or service. Costa Rica is renowned for its biodiversity, and wildlife sightings—including raccoons, monkeys, iguanas, birds, and occasionally neighborhood cats—are a natural part of the environment and outside of our control. The raccoon that briefly appeared during your outdoor dinner was a wildlife encounter that can occur anywhere in Costa Rica and is not unique to our property. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to providing an exceptional experience while allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica’s natural environment.
11/10. One of the best Airbnb stays I have ever had. The whole team at Casa Cheetah went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I had a comfortable stay for my bachelors trip. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The team helped us book our transfers from the airport, book excursions, and provide recommendations for things to do in Tamarindo. If I am back in Tamarindo, I will be sure to stay here again and will recommend it to others as well.

Casa Cheetah has a great location and gorgeous aesthetic, perfect for a large group. We used it for a bachelorette party of 14 and had a wonderful time overall — but a few things are worth noting. We arrived to find several rooms and a bathroom covered in ants, likely from windows left open beforehand. We raised it multiple times and didn’t feel taken seriously, so we dealt with it throughout our stay. Viki was fantastic during the months of planning — responsive, resourceful, and the activities she organized were great. However, cash upfront for everything before experiencing any activity was a bit unreasonable, especially for a group our size. There were also a few moments where her attitude made us feel like we were on her schedule rather than our own vacation. To her credit, she recognized it quickly and course-corrected. Costa Rica is amazing and Casa Cheetah is great for large groups, but at this price point I did expect a more luxury experience

As Casa Cheetah is located in a tropical environment, occasional ants can appear, particularly during periods of heavy rain. Despite of daily cleaning and professional pest control treatments. When notified, our team responded promptly and made additional visits to address the issue. Regarding concierge services, all activities and vendor services are provided by independent local operators, and pricing is determined directly by those vendors based on the number of participants booked. Activity times are selected and confirmed by guests in advance and must be respected, as many providers coordinate multiple guests and reservations throughout the day. We strive to provide transparent communication and responsive support throughout each stay. We appreciate your visit & We wish you all the best in your future travels.
Had an amazing stay at Casa Cheetah. The house was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. The concierge service provided us assistance with transportation, local recommendations, delicious breakfast every morning, and more. The house in person is even nicer than the online picture. Overall a 10/10 stay with even better service.

Amazing Amazing Amazing home. Right in Tamarindo. Great location. Close to lots of restaurants, beaches, bars etc. Pam provided a book of recommendations for area activities and restaurants. She was very responsive and friendly. Everyone in my family love it so much they want to come back.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and surrounded by stunning natural scenery that made it feel like a true getaway. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and full of helpful local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and relaxing outdoor area. We especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying our mornings with such a breathtaking view. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, yet still convenient to nearby attractions and activities. This was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had, and we would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tamerindo Costa Rica!

Beautiful place to stay. The outdoor/pool space was spectacular. Every room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely recommend this place for a large group.

This place was just like the pictures show . It’s a beautiful place great location, my only complaint is the cleaning staff . We had a check out time of 11am , around 9am the door opens with no warning it was the cleaning staff lady . She walks in Hola 👋. Ok that was a little strange 🤷♀️ she could have knocked but anyway. As my family and myself are getting ourselves ready cleaning getting dressed etc she walks right into the bedroom where I’m getting dressed I found this very disrespectful and inappropriate I say excuse me do u mind ? I’m getting ready can u remove yourself please. she doesn’t speak English so she just looked at me and continued to enter and start ripping the bed apart. I was in shock 😳.. I usually clean the home I stay at to the way I entered but I felt very rushed to leave . We didn’t have a flight for hours so I felt very disappointed to have leave 2 hours before the time I paid . We stayed for 16 days at 5 different Airbnb and this never happened before.
Everything was great - they helped book the shuttle to/from the airport, order golf carts to the house (which were already waiting for us when we got there), helped book private travel for some friends who were on different flights, helped book the private chef that came to the house and we had a group dinner at the outside table, and helped book a few restaurant reservations. Highly recommend if you're in Tamarindo to stay here.
