Our stay at this enclave was exceptional! The host was incredibly kind, responsible, and helpful, making sure we had a comfortable experience. The stunning views, great amenities, and peaceful yet convenient location made it perfect—and the thoughtful departure gift was a wonderful touch!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The beautiful view was the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee while listening to the sounds of tropical birds (could hear monkeys in the distance) — so peaceful and relaxing. The condo itself was very clean and actually much bigger than it looked in the pictures! The host, Andrea was incredibly responsive and went out of her way to provide me with a yoga mat, which I really appreciated. The area felt very private and secure, and we even had the pool completely to ourselves during our stay. It’s worth noting that there’s nothing within walking distance, so you’ll definitely want a car. Also, the road leading up to the condo has a very steep incline! Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, spacious, and peaceful getaway with stunning views, this is a great choice!

Our family of 5 was fortunate to stay at Andrea’s beautiful spacious villa.The many villa views will absolutely take your breath away!They are spectacular !Andrea’s villa has absolutely all amenities you will need for your stay,including a barbecue.Playa Ocotal area is small and private and only couple of minutes drive away to grocery store and minutes drive to beautiful black sand beach.Andrea’s villa is perfect for a family getaway ! What an incredible view! We didn’t want to leave. Andrea was lovely to communicate with - so helpful! We loved coming home to the peace and quiet of the balcony every evening. Comfy beds! Everything you’ll need for an amazing vacation. Try the Lookout Restaurant - the view, service, and food is a perfect way to end a day. Don’t miss!

Andrea was a fantastic host ordered us a taxi and dinner was easy to communicate with was quick to deal with anything that would make our stay perfect has a beautiful place with a fantastic view and a heated pool the king suite is amazing loved our stay and was perfect for 5 friends would highly recommend

We had a really great time here. The view from the balcony is magnificent and the place is really well appointed (including the grill). The apartment is stunning and every detail has been provided including lovely linens. Ocatal and Coco are fun in a laid back way and ditto the other beaches and Andrea’s suggestions all hit the bullseye. What’s not to love? Missing it already.

Great place to stay. Great facilities

Andrea’s home is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. It’s located on the mountain overlooking the ocean in a gated community. We felt extremely safe the entire time and the security were so friendly and fabulous. The home itself was immaculate with high end everything. Extremely clean and beautiful in every regard. The bath robes were a special touch giving us the feel of a high end spa retreat. We were 4 adults and 1 child and everyone loved staying here. Howler monkeys just outside the balcony as well was a special surprise. Would recommend this place without any doubt. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent top floor unit with amazing views. Nice quiet neighborhood. Steep paved road up to neighborhood but we made it fine in a HiAce. Did not need 4x4 like I saw in a previous review. Would definitely stay here again.

You cant beat the stunning view at Andrea's place! Place is clean and worth the stay!! A little bit too steep of a drive to get there and you definitely have to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to make the climb but you'd be pleased once you get there.

We have spent 8 days in Andrea's place and we had a wonderful time! Each morning we woke up to see an amazing ocean view! The condo is located above ocean level so you need a car to get there, lots of hills to pass. It was easy after first time. The place was clean, spacious, very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. We felt at home right away. The master bathroom had also an ocean view. We had birds coming to our terrace every morning. The silence was so relaxing! If you are looking for privacy and quiet spot to relax this is definitely a place for you!There was shared pool for each building but it was not heated so the water was a bit cold. There were many beaches nearby but you need a car to get there. Andrea was very helpful with any requests we had. We highly recommend this place and we can't wait to be back in CR again! Pura Vida!

Absolutely gorgeous villa with lots of extra touches and everything one could need. Incredibly beautiful views. We prepared dinner or took take out 4/5 evenings just to enjoy the views and sunset. Such a perfect place for our family group. Three large, fully appointed and beautiful bathrooms.

The place is generally very beautiful, house with everything and more. Just an issue in the picina; but we were quickly fixed by sending us to another picina. Everything was better than we thought was the place. We want to come back as soon as possible.

A beautiful, modern, and luxurious place to enjoy ocean views and lovely birds. We did lose water on two occasions during our stay, but Andrea was very responsive and kept us updated. We would certainly return!

We had a wonderful stay at Ocotal. The place has everything you need- great views, amazing accommodation, well stocked kitchen, laundry, dishwasher. The house is well decorated with local pottery and artwork from Andrea’s kids. The pool is fantastic. The location also has a 24 hour security so very safe. It is hard to get to without car and is on a hill. Road from Playa coco has couple of steep hills but manageable with a car. If you are looking for a peaceful stay with close by beaches, this is a fantastic option. Andrea is a great host, very responsive.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful place, well equipped making a very comfortable stay. The host Andrea is top notch and pays attention to detail on every aspect.

We spent a month in this beautiful Airbnb, and I have to say, it's even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are a good size. The porch is huge. One thing to know about the place is that it's a bit isolated, unless you plan to rent a car (we didn't). It's a $20 cab ride and about a 20 min drive into Coco Beach, the nearest small town. However, Andrea graciously helped us organize grocery delivery, which was super helpful. Since we were there mostly to work, being so remote worked fine for us. It's also great that they have guards at the front gate so we always felt super safe. If you want gorgeous views, nature, and lots of privacy, this is your spot. If you want to be in the middle of things (or walking distance), it may not be right for you.

Andrea’s place was absolutely wonderful! The views were stunning and loved the spacious balcony where we would have breakfast and enjoy late afternoons relaxing after taking a dip in the pool. The place had all the conveniences of home. Andrea was very responsive. We would definitely book again!

An excellent place to stay with an amazing view. You definitely feel the peace, you don't even need to be leaving. It is also close to the Coco, if at all 15 minutes. So you can also enjoy the surroundings, beaches, restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back at some time. :)

Beautiful modern retreat in Del Coco Beach. The views were spectacular and the pool was a great amenity to have. The local restaurants, grocery stores and shopping were convenient and amazing. Andrea was always available and made great suggestions to enhance our stay in Costa Rica. An excellent host!

Lovely condo in Ocotal. Peaceful and relaxing. Pool private for 6 units and refreshing. Accessible to Maracuya Beach Club and restaurant. Spacious and family friendly.

Great view , clean place and very spacious for families

Andrea was a great host. Everything was done remotely and the check in and check out was flawless. The view of the balcony was just beautiful and peaceful any time of day. Hardly anyone used the infinity pool (cause there was just so much to do and visit) including us lol, so if you do use it will probably have it to yourselfs. The kitchen if fully stocked. The bathroom has all you need including a blow drier, hair straightener iron. There is a safe for your valuables. Pretty much it had everything you would need in a home away from home. Extra towels would for the beach would have been better but we managed with what we had so did not even bother asking Andrea. But I’m sure if we asked she would have provided some. She is a great host. One thing to keep in mind is that you need a car to get around because the condo is about 15 minutes from town by car. In my opinion a regular small car will get you around to all places you need to get to. Depends on how comfortable you are driving. I had a Hyaundai Tucson and was able to navigate pretty rough rode riddled with small and big holes all over the road, to a secluded beach Playa Penca. But the size of the car just meant that you had to park a bit further away from beach. SUV had no problems as they can just go through any pot holes. Also the ride up the road to the condo can be intimidating at 2 points due to the steepness but again depends on your driving comfort but regardless it’s doable. Overall my family and I really enjoyed CR and the apartment. Would definitely stay at Andrea’s place next time. Thank you for everything Andrea!

The place is stunning with excellent views and amenities

Great communication and location

This is a very nice, secure, spacious, family home in a local Costa Rican town. All the locals are extremely friendly, and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. We woke up every morning to see a beautiful white horse in the backyard, hummingbirds galore, and there was even a sloth family that lived in the trees above the playground down the street. Andrea is a fabulous host, who really cares about your stay, and checks in daily. We did a pineapple tour, visited the butterfly gardens, relaxed in thermal springs, and of course saw the volcano Arenal. There is so much to do nearby. We would rebook this place in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Andrea’s home has been the perfect stay for us! We were looking for a location we could use as a central spot to explore from but still with a quiet feel and this has been exactly that. The views are beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and the house itself is absolutely gorgeous! It’s not far from San Jose or La Fortuna which makes it a great spot to explore from. Andrea has been incredibly helpful with recommendations, accommodation and making sure we have everything we need! We extended our stay with her because it’s been so wonderful!

Everything was perfect and Andrea was the best host we have ever stayed with. We made a lot of good friends during our two month stay at the house, we got to know the real Costa Rica and we are excited to come back again. The house was everything you could want. We spent many nights on the back patio grilling and watching soccer with our friends. We spent every morning on the balcony drinking great coffee and cataloging all the exotic birds that appeared in the large field surrounded by jungle. I highly recommend staying with Andrea. it was an A+++ experience.

A very nice condo with a beautiful ocean view.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrea's place. We stay for 5 nights and enjoyed the place to the max. Very well equipped with great amenities. Like the other reviews say; the pictures do not make justice to how nice it is. It is private and quiet. The pool is beautiful and the view is phenomenal. We saw thunder storms from the deck while having dinner and saw wild life. The place is far up on the hill, it is about a 15 minutes drive to town and there are pretty step hills to get to it (totally worth it though) so I think it is very important to have a car to commute, but you can call a taxi and they can pick you up too. Book it! you wont regret it.

Andrea is a great hostess and was very responsive and helpful. I was looking at having to drive all the way back to Liberia for our Covid testing but Andrea alerted me to a clinic right in Coco beach and saved me two hours of driving. Thanks Andrea!

Amazing view, the condo is spotless clean and very comfortable. The location is just remote enough to have peace and quiet, but an easy drive to the goings on in the area. I highly recommend staying here! The hosts were very communicative and easy to reach if you have questions or needs.

We just finished a 30-day stay at Andrea's home. We loved it! Andrea was incredibly accommodating and communicative from the moment we booked until the day we left. She and her husband might be some of the nicest people you'll ever have a chance to connect to! The condo is beautiful. The finishes (doors, floors, showers) are gorgeous. The pics just do not show how nice this place is. The master shower that can be turned into an outdoor shower is spectacular. The community was very quiet when we were there and we almost always could have the pool to ourselves. The sunsets a little bit to the left, still beautiful, but not the prettiest side of the ocean. Our kids are 8, 9, and 10. They had a blast playing at Ocotal and Playa Hermosa. We loved going to Zi Lounge. We drove to Walmart in Liberia for most of our groceries as they had the best prices/selection, although if you're not concerned with price, there are lots of local options. The drive to the home was a bit steeper than we anticipated, but lead to gorgeous views & felt like an adventure! Andrea's home is well stocked, even with a lot of Pampered Chef items which you usually don't find that level of quality in a rental. We loved the extra touches of artwork from her kids that just make the place feel like home! The Internet was overall great. The electricity went out just a couple of times and it was very brief (less than 20 minutes). One day it went out for a few hours, but we were told that was extremely rare in the area! We noticed that 3 people were able to stream video at one time, but more than that was tricky for the service. Her home was a great welcome to our stay in Costa Rica. We'd absolutely consider staying here in the future! If you're looking for a home in this area, you will not regret this condo. It's huge, beautiful, well-stocked, and has amazing hosts! Andrea's house in Pital is beautiful. We loved the details of the house and Andrea's hospitality. Great place to stay if you're interested in visiting Rio Celeste or La Fortuna!

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever rented. The facilities are amazing, private, well kept, very safe and clean. The view is absolutely astonishing, an ample view of the Pacific Ocean and the Costa Rican coast. It's within a 20 minute drive from several beaches such as Playa Hermosa, Buena, del Coco and Ocotal.

WoW! We had a dream month in this beautiful condo! Everything matches the photos and even more, comfortable, furnished and decorated with great taste! The site is really extraordinary, typical, with a local character! 4x4 needed for easy access! Safe! Super clean! Well equipped to cook and live for a month! Andrea is a great host, she responds quickly when contacted and resolves any questions or small difficulties very effectively (internet outage...)! We would definitely recommend this place, loved it!

Great place, great location, excellent ammenities 5/5

Andrea’s unit is gorgeous, absolutely stunning and incredibly clean. The tile floors, granite countertops, top end appliances, and furnishings are luxurious. The shower in the master bedroom is better than any found in a high end hotel, with a rain shower nozzle and a separate normal nozzle. All the windows, including the full length glass door in the shower, to an outside patio, have see through blinds that you can see the gorgeous vistas from inside, but can’t see inside from the outside. Taking a shower with a view of the Pacific Ocean is an experience. The beds are comfortable to American standards and all the amenities (a/c, washer/dryer, tvs, fans, dishes, etc.) made the stay feel like a home away from home. The only advice I would provide to future bookers is the unit is at the end of a long and windy road up a hill and it feels like you’re heading way out of town. It is too far to walk to town easily or to even rent a golf cart. You need a car. At the end of that long ride is a beautiful unit in a gated community that feels extremely safe because there’s the road doesn’t lead to anywhere other than the development. You might be able to walk to the nearest beach, but it is almost 2 miles down down the road, so getting back would be challenging because it is all uphill. Andrea was extremely responsive, even when I texted her on Christmas Day. She answered all the questions we had and was very concerned that we feel welcome, which we definitely did. The views from the coast side of the unit were stunning and the seaside breezes made being outside very comfortable. I highly recommend the unit for any family. It truly is a home away from home.

The view from the house is an amazing show! It is worth every moment from when you enter the place, admire the vegetation, the fauna that you see in the surroundings, it is a spectacular place and with a unique view of the sea! The house has very nice touches, it is a special place to vacation with children and family!

Andreas luxury condo was sparkling clean. The rooms were spacious. Views were killer. The complex is very safe. Andrea was very hospitable and offered great tips on local things to do. My three children had fun and enough space to play when recovering from beach time in the condo. She was very responsive. I would highly recommend staying at Andrea’s Airbnb!
