Alex was the best host! He listened to all our needs and provided a full itinerary for our stay. We had a driver, Johnny, who took us everywhere and made us feel safe the entire trip. The house was absolutely beautiful—3 spacious levels that fit all 7 of us perfectly. The infinity pool was stunning and perfect for gathering and taking pictures. We spent a lot of time at the house and still wished we had more days. We had a private chef a few nights—each 4-course meal was immaculate. Breakfast was made fresh every morning by Alex’s wife and daughter and was delicious. One of the highlights was the 4 masseuses who came for massages and body scrubs—pure luxury! This was the most relaxing and exciting trip I’ve had in a long time. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed! They also have a second house next door if you need more space. We’ll definitely be back!

My family of 9 celebrated my 70th birthday at Villa Encanto. Our stay was nothing but spectacular. The property is spacious and can comfortably accommodate a large group, making it perfect for family vacations or gathering with friends. The Villa is well-appointed with all the amenities you would need. Alex and Gerry were very responsive to all of our questions & were super accommodating. Their recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants were spot on. We enjoyed several fun excursions and dined at some fabulous local restaurants all thanks to their great suggestions. They pointed out where the monkeys were & we saw them early every morning. They booked us massages at the house and scheduled us a sunset catamaran cruise, which was amazing. Highly recommend.

Villa Encanto was beautiful and the view was spectacular! Even more beautiful than in the pictures. The kitchen was very well equipped and tidy. Thanks to Alex and Gerry for their help and quick response.

The Villa is amazing! Our group of 8 enjoyed the house and the views were spectacular. We loved being outside by the pool enjoying the wild life (monkeys and beautiful birds!) One note: We were disappointed that the oven was not working (we were planning to cook dinner a few nights) and the coffee pot did not seem to function properly.

We really enjoyed our vacation at this villa. The house is beautiful. Alex is very attentive and easy to communicate with. He made sure that our stay was perfect! He scheduled massages which were amazing. We also had meals by the local chef which were delicious and allowed us to enjoy the local cuisine in the comfort of our villa. It was a wonderful trip.

This place was sooo beautiful! It felt like a castle on a hill. Views were amazing and it was just so relaxing! Alex was excellent with communication and he even coordinated a private cook/chef and spa services to come to the house. Such a special trip and so much fun. I hope to be back soon!!!

Alex and Gerry truly made my 33rd special! I probably asked over 100 questions and Alex answered every question. He was so kind and patient with me. Dona Ofelia cooked for us a few times during the trip and every meal was delicious. The place was so beautiful! The pictures doesn’t do any justice. You just have to see it for yourself. Alex probably is the best host I have ever had throughout my Airbnb experience for many years. He always responded. Sometimes within minutes. He helped start planning my stay weeks in advance and always had great recommendations. He helped make my 30th bday very memorable. Me and my friends felt right at home. The home is so beautiful and even better in person. Any troubles we had , Alex helped solve them within a timely manner. I loved this place soo much. The area is private yet you see the whole town and ocean. Great views. Great beds. Great overall stay!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The Club was awesome as well. We enjoyed Pickleball, the pool and the reasonably priced & delicious restaurant on two occasions.

The view was absolutely breathtaking. This place was very spacious for our group of 6 adults. We had a rental car which and was only a quick 5 minute drive from all the hustle and bustle in Playa Del Coco. The location was amazing and Coco had tons to offer. The pool and living area was beautiful and very comfortable. The house is within a gated community with security and was very safe and private. We wanted a place with an amazing view and this house was everything we hoped for. Many thanks.

The house is very spacious, and the views are spectacular. Our group of 7 spent our mornings and evenings living in the pool. We were able to view sunsets from the side of the house, even while sitting in the pool! We utilized the pool table, ping pong table and outdoor sound system. In addition to every room having its own ensuite bathroom, there was an outside bathroom by the pool as well as one in the main living area. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in Coco, this is the place!

Our trip to Costa Rica was amazing and was largely due to Alex’s hospitality and amazing living space. Would highly recommend staying here and I personally cannot wait to come back.

The view!!!! We were happy to spend so much time at the house. The doors fully open to the outside where we enjoyed the pool, outdoor shower, grill and refrigerator and covered area to lounge. The lower level offered a fite pit and ping pong table as well as a separate casita and additional bedroom. The house itself was spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Alex had been extremely helpful prior to our arrival with requested excursion information. He arranged our outings as well as airport transportation and was at the house to welcome us upon arrival! He delivered groceries and arranged for us to have Ofelia cook and serve us delicious local cuisine. He was the most attentive host we have had in our travels. Thank you Alex and Villa Encanto! The hosts are amazing and organized a private chef on the day we arrived. Amazing outdoor space and sunsets. Coco has a fun downtown and close to lots of activities.

My family and I stayed at Alex and Gerry’s house for 10 days. It was perfect. The 4 ensuite bedroom were perfect to accommodate all of us, 4 couples + babies. The open concept to the pool and sliding doors made our experience very family oriented and fun. The house is new, spotless, you can tell it’s well designed for group rentals. Gerry (the partner who welcomed us) is super responsive and helpful. Making dinner reservations, beach recommendations, always ready to help. I would recommend this house anytime.

Our stay at Villa Encanto was absolutely wonderful. Alex, the manager, was a dream to communicate with. He reached out early and helped answer my numerous questions regarding our stay, meals, and excursions. He was responsive our entire stay. He even made a reservation for us on our first night in at Sugoi, the restaurant in the community which met and exceeded our expectations. Having Doña Ofelia make our breakfasts every morning and dinner after our very long day of activities was a total blessing and she is as sweet as can be. The home itself is more beautiful than the photos. The home is placed in a community with a guard stand which really helps you feel safe, although the beautiful country of Costa Rica is incredibly safe anyway. Alex met us at the villa when we arrived and gave us a nice tour of the home which was incredibly inviting. He even helped us navigate our way to our second destination! Tip: absolutely, 100% do the excursions with the company Alex recommends. 🤍

Outstanding! Just what we were looking for, with spectacular views and a short drive to markets, restaurants, and beaches. Alex was a great host and offered us plenty of tips for finding beach-accessible snorkeling and what to expect with parking. Definitely would book again!

Wonderful Host and Scenic Stay! Our stay at Alex’s Airbnb was truly memorable. Alex, as a host, exceeded all our expectations. He was not just helpful, but incredibly friendly and always available to assist us with anything we needed. His responsiveness added a layer of comfort to our stay. The house itself is a gem, nestled in the hills, offering breathtaking views of both the beach and the surrounding hills. The convenience of a 5 to 10-minute drive to the beach was the cherry on top. Our family, especially the kids, had a fantastic time. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

From booking to checkout everything went smoothly. Alex created a group chat and sent us recommendations. He also arranged for transportation (Johnny) to and from airport, excursions, supermarket and local restaurants. We also had Doña Ofelia who made us breakfast every morning, and dinner 1 night as requested. Everything was delicious and well presented. She served and cleaned up after. Alex and Gerry were very attentive, a bed broke in one of the bedrooms and we mentioned to Alex. Gerry came within hours and fixed the broken bed, reinforced the other and organized the room! Because this is in the mountains and tropics, there are insects (spiders, lizards). We also heard howler monkeys but unfortunately didnt see them. Overall we had a wonderful time at Villa Encanto. The breathtaking views from every part of the home was everything. It was a group of 6 girls and we had more than enough space. Thanks Alex, Gerry, Doña and Johnny for a memorable birthday trip.
