The house and the view did not disappoint. The host was very helpful and responsive, making everything smooth. It is located in an exclusive community, so places are not walkable but close and you feel safe. It is big and that is reflected in the price, also too big for one couple or family but easy to split with a few other families. We would go back to the same spot and that speaks volumes.

This place was amazing. It was very spacious. There was also a full gym at the bottom floor, which was a pleasant surprise.

WOW. Villa Cantamar was incredible. As other reviewers have said the pictures do not do it justice. The view from the deck is incredible, and all of the rooms look out towards the water. The house was perfect for our group of 9 girls as everyone had their own space and there were plenty of bathrooms for all of us to get ready at the same time. The house has everything you need. The neighborhood is safe and walkable down to the beach which our group did a couple times. The biggest plus for my group though was how wonderful Carlos was to work with to plan our trip. He helped arrange transportation, restaurant reservations, and was super responsive whenever we had a question or needed something. We had a great stay and cannot wait to come back soon!

I can't recommend this property enough. Michaela goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. She recommended an amazing chef and a lot of great activities. I can't wait to go back!

I rented this house for my 40th birthday and brought a handful of girlfriends from all over the US. We stayed for 6 days. The house is gorgeous and huge. You can't beat the view or the fact that you can hear the ocean waves all day and night! We all had our own rooms and bathrooms and the upstairs living area was large enough for us all to eat and relax. Laundry in the house was a nice extra touch - we all did our laundry at the end of the trip and went home with clean clothes! I can't say enough about Michaela and her communications and service. She helped organize a dozen or so rides for us with a cab/shuttle company and they were all extremely prompt and kind and got us to where we needed to be and back. She very quickly replaced a few things that were not working and even brought us a few extra kitchen utensils that we needed. The walk down to the beach was gorgeous. The walk up is a hike! Good exercise though. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and we felt very safe. The kitchen had a lot of helpful extras like Tupperware and plastic bags. We could have used some nicer pans and a few spatulas as we did most of our cooking at home. The outdoor fridge was broken which was not a huge deal but it would have been nice to be able to grab drinks from there instead of going inside when we were wet from the pool. I wish the pool was larger, but all in all, this house is a DREAM.

Amazing home and amazing host. Views are beautiful from the moment you walk in. You’ll need to take a car or taxi to get around - the home is atop a big hill which is why it has great views. Michaela was also an amazing host. Very responsive and great recommendations. Thank you!

Great area! Very private, safe, and quiet neighborhood and minutes to all the activities you choose to pursue . Michaela was an incredible host and was constantly in communication to make sure that all of our needs were met or exceeded. The kids loved watching the whales from the house. It really is an incredible view.

After searching many air b n b and being a first timer in Cabo I was extremely happy that we chose this property. The host is exceptional, she was instrumental with giving recommendations and insight on some of the local spots. She even assisted with an introduction to a private chef! The property is located in a very safe / quiet area yet just minutes to all the down town activities. Thank you for an awesome trip!

I am in pure awe at the spectacular service, reception, and stay we had at Villa Cantamar. The photos of the listing absolutely do not do this house justice. It is a stunning villa, in an incredible location, and truly the most helpful host and staff I've ever experienced. I came with a group of 10, and we had more space than we needed, and Michaela was an absolute grace as was the services she helped coordinate for us, and our housekeeping. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you Michaela and Baja Escapes!!!

Wow! The property was amazing but the host Michaela made the experience superb! She recommended a great Chef and massage experts and was super quick to resolve any issues. Couldn’t imagine a better host. Each bedroom had an ocean view and it’s own bathroom. The house has everything we needed. Location was perfect. You could see whales from the balcony each day. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. Would absolutely recommend having a rental car. Will come back for sure!

If you are seeking the comfort, quiet, and stunning views of Cabo, please consider this magnificent property in Pedregal! It was spacious enough to easily accommodate 6 of us over 4 days. Groceries, chefs, transportation, restaurant recommendations, and more can easily be arranged for you to enjoy your stay. The pool was a perfect way to stay cool and relaxed. We look forward to returning!

Spacious home with spectacular views — we were even able to do a bit of whale watching from the balcony! This house is even better in person. Every room had its own bathroom, which was convenient for a large group. It was very clean, and Cristina was quick to respond to any of our questions.

Honestly is was a perfect experience for my large group. The house surpassed my expectations and each room had it's own very nice full bathroom! It was clean, views were great, location was close to town and the host's suggested taxi service worked seamlessly. We used the taxi 4-6 times per day to go in and out of town. And they have huge vans to keep your group together in one vehicle! We liked that the house is in a beautiful gated community with security. Cristina's assistance with everything was second to none. She helped with anything we asked and is just a text or call away. I'd recommend this house to anyone.

Fantastic experience, the home was better than advertised in a safe and stylish location

House was spacious, beautiful, and close to downtown. The view of the ocean makes it even better along with all of the rooms and how nice they were. Me and my 8 guests enjoyed Villa Cantamar and loved every single minute of our bachelor party. Would recommend this house to anybody, 10/10 thank you Cristina.

It far exceeded all of our expectations - pictures truly do not do justice - the home and the surrounding area are magnificent. The view from the giant sliding glass windows is magazine quality! Everything was perfecto! If we ever make it back to Cabo - we know where to stay!

This place was amazing! Much bigger than it looked in the picture and awesome view. Cristina was very helpful the entire trip.

The house was perfect! Loved that all of the rooms have a view of the ocean, the bathrooms were spacious and clean. Took us a minute to figure out the dimming light situations and the fancy stove, but it didn’t cause any problems. Really appreciated the stocked fridge and the fresh flowers. We had an issue with the gas in the house shutting down (so cold showers, cold pool, no fire pit, no stove/oven, and no grill) but Cristina got it fixed as quickly as she could. She also contacted me almost daily throughout our stay just to make sure everything was going well. Made a couple trips down the hill to the beach. Beautiful anytime of day, but especially peaceful for sunrise. There’s a small parking lot near the beach entrance if you don’t want to make the walk back up the hill. The whales were also very active during our stay which meant we got to whale watch from the comfort of the heated pool while eating s’mores roasted on the fire pit! Definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit Cabo and enjoy beautiful views of the Pacific!

This place is amazing! The house is beautiful and the views are incredible! Beds are very comfortable everything was super clean and every room and bathroom is spacious. Christina is an incredible host and she helped us find everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great space and hospitality! Cristina was available at all hours even when we locked ourselves out after a night on the town. The chef recommended was great and it was nice to have a cleaning lady come in daily. Awesome vacation, would highly recommend!

Views for days! What a fantastic location and incredible home. It’s rare to find a home with so many gorgeous bedrooms and for us traveling with 5 couples it was important that people had relatively equal opportunity to views and this house did not disappoint! Cristina was a fantastic host. She was ultra responsive and there to greet us upon arrival and show us around. She put us in touch with a terrific private chef who cooked brunch for us most days and dinner one night. I highly recommend doing that if you stay to minimize having to make grocery runs and go out to eat. You will want to spend more time than you think at home because it’s so beautiful. Cristina also has a transportation contact which I also recommend for leaving Pedregal if you do not feel like the 20 - 30 minute walk to town. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach, which is absolutely stunning. Well worth the easy hike back up. I would definitely recommend staying here either with your family and children (some rooms have twin beds that would be perfect for kids) or with a group of friends. You will love it.

Great Villa and great value! Cristina is a wonderful host.

Cristina is a great host. She is very responsive to any concerns/issues you might have. She had wonderful recommendations for the various activities we were seeking: private chef, boating expedition, restaurants, transportation, grocery shopping. We asked for several recommendations before arriving so we could plan and prepare ahead of time. She always responded to my correspondence in a very timely fashion. There is daily maid service which was nice to have. The house is on three levels which means we could spread out and not disturb each other. There is a small gym room and two living areas: one on the main floor and one on the next level down. The views are stunning! We would not consider this house to be within walking distance to downtown unless you are in excellent shape and don't mind a hilly trek. You will definitely need to get a ride back up to the villa. The villa is right near the Spa facility that is part of the gated community, so that was very convenient. The villa is in a very safe and secure area. Cristina will bend over backwards to attend to your requests. She wants you to be happy! I would definitely recommend this house and would rent it again for a larger group. We had one issue with an air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms and Cristina had a technician there immediately to fix the problem! Thank you Cristina.

This property was so beautiful and much more than the pictures show! The house is HUGE with an amazing pool, view and in a very safe neighborhood. You can even walk to a gorgeous beach. Cristina was an amazing host! I will definitely be renting this house again! Highlights of my trip were the house and host!

This house was amazing! It was much better than what it seems like in the pictures. The location is very close to downtown and the compound that the house is in was very safe. Cristina was a great host, I had no difficulty getting in touch with her. She answered all of my text very fast and helped me to arrange everything such as transportation and pre-arrival stocking. It was a great pleasure to stay in Villa Cantamar and I would strongly recommend if you are considering to visit Cabo!

This villa is a great place and has awesome views of the ocean because it is higher than most villas. Walk to beach is fun and the beach itself is beautiful. The villa itself has a cozy feeling to it with high-end details built in. Lovely views from every room. Housekeeper was great and kept the place clean. Cristina, the host, was EXCELLENT in helping plan our stay. She had helpful connections such as trusted taxi/food service/activity recommendations/ and overall VERY responsive host. This was our second time staying here and probably will be staying here more...
