We rented this place for our wedding in las palapas , this place is spacious and have beautiful sorroundings . it is super well equipped and the rooms and ammenities are great , the terrace and balcony were my favorite spots . the hosts (Dennise and Grant) were really responsive for our requests and allowed us to check in early for a surprise I had the day before the wedding, so I highly recommend them as hosts and the house is a really nice place.

We had a terrific week at this home. It’s super comfortable and well appointed. The owners provided really helpful information about different places to spend our time- all were great! The home was very clean. The housekeeper was so sweet and made a traditional Tica breakfast for us. Hers was the best food we ate all week. We loved spending our mornings on the second story porch with a wonderful breeze. We saw monkeys right from the balcony two different times. The wildlife just around the home is incredible. We had an issue with the lock box when we arrived but given the attention to detail that they show I’m certain it will be fixed before the next visitor. We hope to come back again!

Beautiful and very comfortable Air BnB. Looks just like the pictures. The patio and balcony were the big draw. So lovely to sit outside and enjoy coffee/breakfast on patio, wine/dinner in evenings, sleep in hammock if so inclined. Easy access across the parking lot to community pool. Walk about 5 min to a locked gate (ask Denise or Iriedy to show you the key) to get onto Marriott property and their beach and palapas. If you don’t have the key, you can still access, just a bit longer walk (?10-15 min). Iriedy is a fabulous cook and very sweet. You can specify what days you need her to come if you don’t need her everyday. The place was spotless. We did hear the howler monkeys at sunset. Easiest way to get to the Air BnB is to set your GPS to JW Marriott Guanacaste then take the first left after the Marriott. There will be 2 gates to get through with a QR code that the host (Denise in our case) will give you. Then you use a 4 digit passcode for lockbox.

The villa was exactly as described! It was a bit secluded, but it was exactly what we needed so we didn't mind. The host was extremely responsive, ordered groceries and fresh fish before our arrival so we had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and spotting the monkeys. We would definitely visit again. Iriedy was absolutely amazing!!

Grant and Denise’s place in Hacienda Pinilla was perfect for our Family of 5. Denise was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the stay. Helping us with groceries, excursions, toys for the kids and more. Having the daily housekeeper made it feel like vacation and we look forward to returning.

This was an incredible place to stay and we will definitely be back! Pictures don’t do it justice. The unit itself is very spacious, clean, and a perfect layout for a family or several couples traveling together. With 2-porches, it has incredible ocean views and we’d watch daily for monkeys and birds just outside the house. The neighborhood is safe, has an awesome amenities with the Beach Club and surf breaks right out front. Denise/Grant were wonderful hosts and we can’t say more positive things about our trip. We can’t wait to come again soon!

Denise was a great host and overextended herself in welcoming us, ordering groceries for us, and making sure all of our questions were answered. The region is a bit more isolated than we expected. A car is definitely needed just to do basics such as try different restaurants, get groceries, etc. this isn’t on the house, but more that we didn’t have a lot of time to plan based on our desire for a walkable low lift beach vacation. The home and staff in the home were enjoyable and very helpful with meals. Would definitely recommend the home and Denise as a host.

Wow! This place is amazing. Has everything you need and in a location that’s pretty magical. Exceeded my expectations big time. Fam loved the pool and we usually had it all to ourselves. Wildlife was next level here. Kids saw so many cool animals. Access to all of my favorite beaches and surf spots. The house manager Andreina was so responsive to our needs and made some fantastic food for us. Very hard to leave this place. Will be coming back soon.

We loved our stay here. We were close enough to get into Tamarindo but far enough to have the peace and quiet of the Hacienda estate. 3-4 private beaches all walkable, horseback riding on the estate and incredible restaurants. The house was beautifully appointed and the cleaning service so friendly and helpful. It is a perfect place for families. The hosts provided a great deal of local recommendations that were so helpful.

Absolutely five star location, condo and resort. So many amenities and attention to details at the condo. We were a family of four with grandparents joining and the condo was the perfect fit! We were all drawn to the wrap around porch and hammocks instantly. As other reviewers stated Andreina is super sweet and helpful. We were able to explore the resort and take advantage of the pool as well as several private beaches within the property. I would highly recommend going to a grocery store on the way in or having them delivered upon arrival. The kitchen was so well stocked we ate almost every meal at the condo for the week we were there. On our last day the howler monkeys came right to the the trees across from the condo to wish us fare well! What an unforgettable trip! Hope to one day be lucky enough to return!

Our stay at this Airbnb in Hacienda Pinilla was absolutely wonderful! The home was beautiful, spacious, and set in a peaceful, lush environment—perfect for relaxation. The surroundings were serene, with easy access to stunning beaches and nature trails. What truly made our experience exceptional was the host’s responsiveness and attentiveness. They provided clear communication, great recommendations, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether we had a question or needed assistance, they were always quick to help. The property itself was well-maintained, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could ask for. It felt like a private retreat, yet we were close to all the best that Hacienda Pinilla has to offer. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a fantastic host, this is the perfect place. We would absolutely stay here again!

The listing does NOT do this place justice. It is much larger and nicer than we anticipated. The setup is perfect for families with lots of outdoor space to hang out. We spent a lot of time on hammocks and large rocking chairs. It's a great gated community with pool and walking distance to a private beach area. The best part of the stay is their house keeper. She kept everything clean and tidy, cooked us delicious breakfast and lunch and even did laundry. We were not expecting this level of hospitality!!! One tip - be sure to follow the provided step by step driving instructions and don't trust GPS on this one. It is much easier to get to taking the route they recommend from the airport. The hosts were super responsive and gave us great local tips. We will be back!

Denise and Grant helped us lot with our reservation. It got inadvertently cancelled a week before the vacation and they helped us to rebook it for the same price and days. Great to have Andreina as housekeeper onsite. We really like this home feeling place so close to the beach.

Stayed here as a family (2 adults, 2 grandparents and 2 kids). Perfect location in Hacienda Pinilla—walking distance to the beach! The house is pristine and well-maintained. The housekeeper was amazing- she cooked a made to order breakfast daily, helped clean up after kids and do laundry! It was our first time visiting this area and I would definitely take Denise’s recommendations for grocery delivery, a chef, fisherman, local restaurants etc. Beach club is nearby for $35/day which is well worth it! This place is the nicest house I’ve ever stayed in! The house had EVERYTHING we needed and a very well-stocked kitchen. We loved it here and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to this area. We hope to return next year!

Hacienda Pinilla is our favorite place. Our kids enjoy every moment. My oldest son surf, my youngest play golf and my girl enjoy jogging around Pinilla. We walked to the JW Marriott for dinner and walked from the nearest beach to Avellanas our favorite beach. It felt like a real vacation.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Costa Rica, with plenty of space- this it it! We were a family of 3 but this home could easily accommodate a few more. We woke up every morning to the peaceful sound of birds in the trees. We would make our coffee and take it to the upstair balcony and enjoy the birds, one day we even saw a monkey swinging through the trees. It was very peaceful and quiet. There was a housekeeper everyday, who kept the home spotless (changed linens and towels, tidied up and even cut our fruit for us). The beach is walking distance and if you enjoy walking there are several paths surrounding the property to get in your daily steps. The pool is across from the villa, but when we went it had not been cleaned, so we chose to use the pool at the JW Marriott next door, which is beautiful and also has several restaurants. There was another pool on the property and they did clean the pool on our last day, but we preferred the Marriott. Overall I highly reccommend!

This was our families first time in Costa Rica and I am so thankful we chose this place for our three week stay. The house manager made our vacation truly a vacation , breakfast every morning, dishes and she even helped us with laundry and made all beds. She went above and beyond. It rained almost the entire time we were there so it was a little challenging to get to the beach as I thought it was located on the beach. It’s a good little walk to get to a swimable beach but it has the most beautiful spot to see sunsets! Overall the place is so safe and quiet and we enjoyed the gated community. The house is beautiful and immaculate, the master bed is a little hard for our taste, but otherwise a place of luxury. The back porches are almost like a bird paradise we loved listening to them every morning. If we come back to Costa Rica we would stay here again.

We had the best time in Costa Rica! The Villa is exactly what you see in the pictures. Short walk to JW Marriott beach where you can watch amazing sunsets. Lolas is right down the road and several other restaurants! Short drive to Tamarindo if you want to enjoy the shops and night life. We will definitely be back!

Grant and Denise's home was such a wonderful home away from home. The landscaping and location with close proximity to the beach make it stand out above other listings. The home was beautifully appointed and the hammocks, porch and balcony were wonderfully relaxing. It is located in a community within a community where you meet other visitors as well as homeowners, share a communal pool and gym with others, but her yard is beautifully maintained-- so you also have a very private and relaxing space. It was everything we had hoped for and we would definitely stay with Grant and Denise again. If you like to surf-- the beach in front of the larger Hacienda Pinilla clubhouse was perfect both for advanced surfers or those just learning. This home is next to the Marriott as well as close to the larger clubhouse- so you have options of three different pools or a beach! We can't say enough about our wonderful stay!

Our stay was perfect! The home is beautifully decorated, the location is wonderful and our party of 6 was comfortable and had plenty of space. Juan and Andriana were amazing! Juan made sure we had a fridge full of groceries upon our arrival and Andriana's home cooked meals were an incredible treat! Denise was so responsive - making sure we got settled in ok, sharing recommendations and responding to all our questions. Beautiful home and wonderful hosts!

We absolutely loved our visit to Hacienda Panilla. We opted not to rent a car and rented a golf cart and hired drivers instead. Next time, we will just rent the car. The house was well-stocked with all of the necessities and kept squeaky clean. The location was fantastic. We visited in February and the wind can be wicked strong, but warm. Thank you for a relaxing vacation in beautiful Costa Rica!

The villa was a perfect place for our Costa Rican vacation. We loved how peaceful the area was. Even nicer than the photos. Easy drive to busier areas such a Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo but then you could retreat back to Hacienda Pinilla and relax. Adrianna kept the villa spotlessly clean during our stay and made the most amazing breakfasts. We had Iriedy make a number of dinners for us and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. The walk to Mansita Beach was 5 minutes and you can walk for miles on the beautiful beach towards Avenallas. The whole area is safe, gorgeously landscaped with amazing views. Recommend Serendipity Charters out of Playa Flamingo, Gutti Tours in Avenallas, Surf Box in Playa Flamingo, Lola's in Playa Avenallas.

This place and the property in general was incredible!! Very well maintained home and property. Extremely relaxing at every corner. The outdoor living spaces on the upper level and lower levels were our favorite. We spent most of our time there in rocking chairs and hammocks when we were not going to the beach or pool or around town. The daily breakfast by Andrianna and her helpfulness to get use where we needed to go was excellent. This place is very well appointed with almost everything you need. Would absolutely recommend this place.

We were two families with children and we were very comfortable. The house is very spacious and very well equipped. The hosts and the employee who help with the very good and friendly cleaning. The place is beautiful and Mansita beach, where you can walk, is very nice.

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay. Everything was just as described. The home was beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and well equipped with everything we would want. The property is just steps from a quiet and spacious pool and just a short drive to the beach and restaurants. Nicer and much more tranquil than Tamarindo yet only 15 minutes drive to town.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Andriena was so nice and took such good care of us and our place. All bedrooms were great, but the downstairs bed is extremely hard. (not bad for the only complaint) We used Tamarindo Shuttle to get to Tamarindo instead of renting a car. the prices were fair and no-one had to worry about driving. I wish we had a golf cart for a couple of days just so we could have seen the entire property. (at this time of year apparently it's a minimum 5 day rental). The beach is fantastic!!

This was our second time visiting Grant and Denise's place. Their property is first-class - even better than the last time we visited. Their communication and responsiveness is also amazing, making it easy to prepare and settle in. You can find other places in Pinilla, but you'll have a hard time finding a better one. Thanks again for a great visit.

We just returned from a stay with our family at the beautiful Casa Colibri in Hacienda Pinilla, Guanacaste! Casa Colibri was just perfect. Well appointed, perfectly decorated, and roomy enough for our family of five to spread out as needed. The two wrap-around verandas provided great spaces for morning coffee, a quiet read, or a nap in a hammock. The kitchen is well stocked with everything an enterprising cook might need. Andriena came to our hacienda every morning, prepared some lovely breakfast dishes, and looked after the house and yard (all while managing to be very unobtrusive!) Our host, Denise, was absolutely fantastic. We had great communication with her prior to our arrival, and she was available and extremely responsive during our trip to answer questions, provide suggestions, and made absolutely certain that we were having a great time at her place. The local beaches were beyond beautiful. Everyone found it hard to leave this paradise and we hope to return soon!

This was by far the best experience we’ve had! Denise was always available and was very communicative throughout the trip. Her staff was very attentive to our needs, the food was excellent, the house was extremely clean and well stocked. Recommend renting a car if you want to explore outside of resort or a golf cart if you want to go around the resort. Excellent beaches. Also recommend a massage at the beach club and dinner reservation at the steakhouse at JW MARRIOTT. When we come back, we will stay here again. No doubt.

Loved this villa. For my family and I, this villa was easily one of the best stays ever in an AirBnB. The villa is very spacious, warm, comfortable, and well decorated. It's plenty close to the beach club, gym, local pool, golf course, hotel pools and restaurants. The hosts made sure there were plenty of spices available for cooking, which is such a big deal in my opinion. We were able to cook indoor and out. We received help from Iriedy, whom works with the hosts. She assisted with cleaning daily, cooking, washing clothes, and sometimes watching our kids. We stayed there two weeks and we honestly didn't want to leave the grounds. It's extremely important to note that the beds (especially the primary bedroom) are hard... not just firm. We're not hard bed fans, but if you are, this won't bother you... but we had a few bad night's sleep because of this.

This is the best home away from home experience we have ever had!! EVERYTHING is exactly as stated and more. Perfect location in a very secure community. Only down side is the dirt road in but to be expected in Costa Rica. Sunsets and wildlife are unlike anywhere we have ever been. Enjoy!!!

This villa is fantastic. We stayed for over a week with 2 adults, an 11-year-old, 14 yo, and 17 yo. We do not speak spanish. Each room has its own bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. The house is very clean and well cared for. We did not have a car for our stay and that presented a few challenges. It was in the 90s each day. You can rent a golf cart to get around the property, which is massive. It's 2 miles from the security gate to the villa. They had 2 mountain bikes brought down when they heard we didn't have a car. That was thoughtful and appreciated! My husband mountain biked on the trails 2x while we stayed. It was in the 90s each day. It rained 2 times during our stay, both times at night. The sun came up around 6 am and went down around 6 pm. There is a little neighborhood pool just on the other side of the driveway from the villa. It isn't very deep. It's great for stargazing at night or letting little kids play. It's not lit at night, so we would bring flashlights over. The JW Marriott is about a 5-minute walk (there's a path out the back of the neighborhood.) If you want to swim in their amazing pool, it's $70 per person ($35 food credit for any restaurant). Our family did this one day and it was a great time. They have a beach bonfire with smores select nights and it's a lovely place to watch the sunset. The beach club is about a 15-minute walk via the beach. The pool is excellent, just smaller. It's $10 per person, but you get that as a food credit as well. We enjoyed lots of smoothies - $5 each. Surf lessons are offered here, as well as dining and some health club activities. There's a restaurant, Lola's that is about 25 min past the beach club on the beach. The food is great, they have wonderful hammocks, and it's just a really chill vibe. If you're walking, pay attention to the tides - low tide is the best time to walk because you have to cross a small river and at higher tide it can be a little harder to cross. We left Lola's at sunset and still didn't get back to Hacienda Pinilla til after dark - bring a flashlight or two. Meals - we sent a grocery list over about a week before our trip and Denise had Juan do the shopping for us. Most things in the US are available but the prices are much higher. The housekeeper made us breakfast almost every day (we provided the food) and she made us dinner one night. We had a private chef come to the house for 2 dinners. Probably favorite meal that we ate out was a Lola's. We did several excursions through Native's Way. They will come pick you up. You do have to text the driver's name and license plate number to the villa manager, who then sends it to security, who then passes it on to both gates the driver will need to access every time you have a driver or taxi pick you up. That was a little cumbersome at times but overall was fine. Airport transfers - they hooked us up with Tamarindo Adventures and we were able to book a one-way ride from the airport (about 1.5 hours one way) for $80 for the 5 of us. We also used them to return to the airport, and one day we hired them to take us into Tamarindo for $80 round trip (car rentals for us would have been $1500 or more during our stay - try to secure your car rentals way in advance if you can). The road into Hacienda Pinilla is a dirt road and it's very bumpy/dusty. I don't think you need 4wd to drive it but it is probably the one thing about our trip that I didn't enjoy. It sounds like it's been torn up for ages and there's no real plan to repair it soon. If you get a chance to visit, this place is an awesome respite. We so happy we found it and were able to stay.

This is a gem of a place located in a lovely secure gated community. The place is very well appointed with everything you could want for your stay. The housekeeper, Iriedy, was absolutely lovely and made us breakfast every morning M-F. Great staff everywhere. Ideally you want a vehicle to come and go, but the place is so great you may not want to leave

This place is amazing. Grant and Denise were exceptional hosts. Communication was responsive and helpful. Their place was all we hoped it would be... clean, quiet, and an easy walk to the beach. We never had any issues, but I am confident that they would have jumped on it if we had. We hope to come back someday soon.

This unit was one of the nicest places we have rented and we would definitely go back! We came with our adult children and their significant others to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday and a great time was had by all. Everyone had their own bathroom and with two sitting areas and two big verandas, there was plenty of space to spread out. My son had to work one morning and had no problem with the wifi. The unit is a very large attached condo, which isn’t completely clear in the photos but it is very private and we really enjoyed the set up. The complex itself is huge and we enjoyed exploring 4 different beaches all within the resort, 2 of which are a short 5 minute walk from the house. The sunsets were amazing. I recommend checking out Playa Langosta with your car. It has a shaded area with chairs that is nice, when it’s hot. We often had the surreal experience of being the only people on a spectacular beach on the Pacific Ocean! We also used both pools, hit golf balls at the range, used the boogie boards and surf boards that Gerald provided, and hiked and ran on the mountain biking trails. Gerald set us up with a chef to come to the house to cook us two meals, which were delicious and we then found out that he had his own restaurant a few miles away. I wish we had tried it sooner in the week because it ended up being our favorite meal out. The small outdoor restaurant is a hidden local gem called El Cactus and it is in Pinilla. You can find it on TripAdvisor. Finally, if you are visiting from the U.S., we brought the Binax Covid tests that offer telehealth consults with us and used a laptop to complete our testing before traveling home. It was super easy and so much cheaper than doing it at a clinic there.

I recommend it! Very comfortable, well-kept and beautiful. It has everything one needs for a vacation. I would definitely come back.

We had a fantastic week at Grant's villa. Gerald, the property manager, was always helpful to answer questions for us. Hacienda Pinilla, and this unit in particular, was perfect for our family of 5. The grounds of HP are gorgeous and we loved the wildlife there. One of the highlights was watching a group of howler monkeys in the trees right across the street (and we heard them at night - so if you are a light sleeper, maybe bring some ear plugs). We saw several giant iguanas as we walked around near the beach club as well. The unit itself was perfect - very clean and full of helpful items in the kitchen and the laundry room (spices, sugar, laundry detergent, etc.). We loved having plenty of room to spread out when we were (rarely) in the unit, and the outdoor space was pure bliss. The hammocks were cozy and eating breakfast at the large outdoor dining table was a highlight of each day. The water is hard here, so expect that getting dishes clean and showering take a little more effort. We found that the dishwasher did not dissolve the soap very well, so we only used it once, and just hand washed the dishes. We took a family surf lesson at Lola's (Avellanas Surf School, which was great!) on our first day, so my husband and daughter were thrilled to have two surf boards available to practice with during the rest of our time. We bought and left a couple of bungee cords there for easier surfboard transit. And my younger kids loved the two boogie boards. There is a large Yeti cooler available and two nice beach chairs for trips to the beach. The beach in front of the Club is really nice. That was our favorite spot for playing in the waves and lounging on the sand. We also enjoyed a nice walk (at low tide!) from Playa Bonita to Playa Mansita. One thing to note (maybe this is new?) is that the Club charges $10 per person (over age 12) to use the pool area each day, but you do get that as a credit toward food and drinks in the club area. We were a bit surprised by this when we tried to sign in, but ended up getting a few smoothies for the kids, which were really good, and a couple of quesadillas, and we easily used up the credit. So just a heads up to plan to eat / drink a bit while you are using the pool. Sunsets at both Playa Mansita and Playa Bonita were amazing. (And a note about Playa Mansita because it took us a while to figure out how to access it - there is a path leading there from inside the Palma Real Jardines area, and after you go through the metal gate, just walk down through the service drive of the Marriott. There is a restroom and shower to rinse sand off.) We did our covid tests through Beachside Clinic in Huacas. We paid an extra fee to have them come to the villa, and that went very smoothly. All in all, this was a nearly perfect vacation and we hope to return to Costa Rica and this villa sometime soon! Thank you Gerald and Grant!

We've been coming to Palma Real for 5+ years. Grant and his team provided excellent service and the villa was lovely. The hospitality and amenities make this an ideal spot for a relaxing family vacation. The maid service and essential oil diffusers were an appreciated bonuses. We are always sad to leave Costa Rica and this trip is no exception.

Beautiful villa and area! My family loved our time at Grant's villa, everything you could need and plenty of room for all of us! The wraparound patio and deck with hammocks were fantastic (and with an ocean view from the upper deck), and the neighborhood pool across the street was great for the kids to play in. The beach club was awesome to spend time at, and the whole Hacienda Pinilla property was a great area to stay and felt very safe with two security gates to get to the villa. Easy checkin/out, the housekeeper was wonderful, and property manager was quick to respond and address any issues. Attended a meeting at the JW Marriott which was less than a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic stay! The villa was extremely clean, we coordinated basic groceries upon arrival which was great to have since we got in late. The villa is a quick walk to access the restaurants on the JW Marriott property which we took advantage of one evening. We definitely appreciated having a rental car to drive to the beach club and to dinner at Lola’s since the property is so large. My husband surfed daily - there are 5 surf breaks along the Playa Avellana’s stretch of sand from the beach club to Lola’s. Gerald was very responsive with all our questions and helped coordinate a delightful traditional Costa Rica meal at the house one evening where the housekeeper Iraidy cooked. We cannot wait to come back.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in - the villa is beautiful and in a great location. You can see the ocean from the upper veranda, and the beach is just a short walk (about 8 minutes). You are also right by a swimming pool and a gym. Hacienda Pinilla (where the villa is located) has some great amenities, including beautiful, pristine beaches. You can walk all along the beach to the Beach Club - about a 20 minute walk and will not likely see another human along the way. The beaches are among the most beautiful we have ever seen. You can bike all over the property - to the market, beach club, golf, etc. We played golf twice, which was really fun. There are several holes along the ocean that are stunning. No one else was on the course, which we loved. There are many activities to do in Guanacaste - kayaking through mangroves, hiking, snorkeling by a sunken volcano, zip lining, surfing, etc. Definitely plan to see Rio Celeste - it is worth the drive! You can also just lounge by the pool at the beach club and drink sangria while you watch the sunset:) What made this trip extra special, though, is the manager/concerierge (Gerald) and the housekeeper (Iraidy). Gerald was incredibly helpful - arranging transportation, stocking the villa with groceries before our arrival, chef/daily menu selections, surfing lessons, and so much more. He answered a million questions for us and was very responsive. And Iraidy keeps the villa absolutely pristine and is an amazing cook - we enjoyed a variety of meals from different regions of Costa Rica that Iraidy prepared for us. She is incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful. Everyone that we interacted with at Hacienda Pinilla was friendly and helpful, and very gracious when we tried to communicate in broken Spanish. I can't say enough good things about this experience and we can't wait to return!

To say this Villa is superb would be an understatement! The pictures of it online can't begin to do it justice. My family has traveled and stayed in places extensively in the past and the finishes and furnishings in this villa are the very best we've experienced! Security is top-notch at Hacienda Pinella and you'll be safe to quietly enjoy all the great outdoors amenities it has to offer. We took advantage of the beach club and beach at Playa Bonita multiple days. The grounds of the villa are perfectly managed and provides a comfortable garden oasis for rest and relaxation. The villa is immaculately clean and housekeeping came everyday we were there to tidy up. The internet worked great and the TV offering was excellent. If you cook, then you're in for a real treat! The kitchen is beautiful and very well appointed. We really appreciated the special touches by the owner. Take for instance a stocked freezer of locally caught fish available for purchase at a very special price. All-in-all, you can't go wrong booking this villa. It's beautiful and the owner goes out the way to see you have a memorable stay!

This place is fantastic. The pool is right across the street, so convenient for families with kids. There are more kitchen utensils and appliances in this place that i own myself. The beach is not suitable for small kids but there are plenty of things to do. We will be back!

This place is a gem. Best part of all is the Value. Adults and kids loved the wildlife. Next Level wildlife. This trip we added Lesser Anteater and 9 banded Armadillo to the list. Attention and support from the property Manager is first class. Top tier.

Had an amazing stay in Hacienda Pinilla. Loved the Villa and location. Short walk to pool (across the street) beach and event space lawn (with restroom) area was amazing for tide pools, shell hunts and sunsets. The Beach Club was amazing. Staff, food and drinks. You can rent boards and bikes. Loved it. Get groceries on your way! Dine at Lola’s on Playa Avellanas. Epic family vacation. We’ll be back.

This villa is exquisite. It has everything you need. There is a nice collection of books available. The pool is a short walk from the villa. There are restaurants and beaches surrounding the villa. We took a 20 minute drive to Tamarindo Beach. The grocery store is also close. The villa is immaculate, very clean and organized. We hope to visit again someday soon.

a perfect appartment, nice people just to enjoy

It is a very nice place to vacation, with a very good location and surrounded by very well cared for gardening, the house has central air conditioning unit which worked perfectly in my stay, the cleanliness and beauty of the interior decoration are excellent, definitely a place to recommend. The pool is large but communal as the villa does not have its own pool. Playa Mansita is very close and you can walk from the house and Playa Avellanas 5 minutes by car.

Our family had a wonderful time at Grant's place. We found it to be a spacious, comfortable and safe for our family of 6 and during the pandemic. I would highly recommend this place and we hope to return in the future.

An amazing place with lots of entertainment options. I know the country very much, and both the accommodation and the entire complex is one of my favorites. We'll be back!

This is our 3rd time staying at Grant’s place and we couldn’t love it more! Last year it was booked and we had to stay somewhere else and really missed staying here! So happy to have stayed here again this year! We’ll be back!

Great place, great communication in a great location!

I can't think of a more comfortable place to spend a week or 2 with my family. Grant's place is extremely spacious and comfortable. It's also located in a nice development with access to multiple beaches. I should note that it's probably not ideal for folks looking to party or eat out every meal as it's a bit far from the nightlife of Tamarindo (25 minutes driving). Having said that, for my family it was perfect, and I will definitely look to stay at Grant's place next time I'm in Costa Rica.

The house is spectacular, very well located and equipped with everything one needs! Super comfortable. They keep it very well kept. Iraidy the cleaning girl is helpful and friendly and every day she left the house spotless. Easy to get to, in a beautiful place and just 600 m from the beach. There were 6 of us and we had the best time. The only thing we needed was time! Super recommended!

The place is beautiful, the house is very comfortable, we felt right at home. It has a perfect location near the pool, and the gym; Playa Bonita and Playa Langosta. It is a place where you can spend everything you want outside and that if you want to be comfortably inside the house, you have a great time because it is fresh, spacious, with many areas where you can relax or be with the family. A place you want to return to!!
