This is definitely the most beautiful place to stay in Liberia, I have stayed there in multiple occasions and will always be my go to place every time I visit the area. The house it’s gorgeous and very peaceful while also super close to town. LOVE this place!

We had a wonderful week at Guana Getaway. The house is stunning, the decor and details in the house feel luxurious. It's not just another Airbnb that's for sure! We felt our visit was important to our hosts, which made us feel at home and welcomed. The groundsperson was fab too, so friendly but so concious to give us our space but be there when we needed anything....and also to point out the wildlife which we really appreciated. There wasn't anything missing on this trip, it was perfect. And the pool 🤩.......we will never forget our time there. Thank you to N, A & J

We had a wonderful stay at Guana Getaway and would happily return. Allan was an exceptional host—always responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The on-site caretaker was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The home was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained, and the pool and yard were beautiful. One of our favorite moments was watching a family of wild monkeys visit the property! The location was another highlight, making it easy to explore the nearby beaches, national parks, and many of the area’s attractions while still having a peaceful place to come back to each day. Allan was also kind enough to store our luggage while we traveled to other parts of Costa Rica, which made our trip so much easier. We highly recommend Guana Getaway to anyone visiting the area and would absolutely stay again!

Very well located near Liberia; it is very beautiful and functional. Too bad I couldn't enjoy it because I had to leave; I had a bad fall during a hike, but the rest of the group loved it

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the Liberia area. The house is incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with a gorgeous pool that our family loved. The location is ideal—close to everything in Liberia while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. The property caretaker was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. What truly set this Airbnb apart was the exceptional hospitality from the hosts. When our flight was unexpectedly diverted from San Jose because of storms, they accommodated our last-minute arrival late in the evening with only a few hours’ notice. They were always incredibly responsive, graciously allowed us to store our luggage while we traveled elsewhere in Costa Rica, and even gave us a late checkout to make traveling with our baby much easier. Their kindness and flexibility made a stressful travel situation so much easier! We would happily return!

I don’t have one single complaint about the property or host. We are a family of six and we loved every amenity and detail of the property. The kids LOVED the pool and seeing monkeys, iguanas and other local wildlife. Overall, certainly a five star stay. We voted unanimously to come back someday!

Allan was an extremely gracious host, he provided great detail and support while we navigated getting to know Costa Rica. The home was immaculately kept, pictures did not do it justice. The grounds keeper Noi (I’m not sure I spelled that correctly) was also a wonderful base of knowledge and happily worked with us translating on our phones. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Allan was an amazing host who was very responsive and accommodating. Our 2 year old grandson said we lived in a park where monkeys do come around 4-5pm. Everything was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you very much

although we dident get to meet Allan he was very responsive in responding on the app to messages, and his grounds caretaker who lived on site was absolutely sweet and amazing. if u stay here follow his video instructions to find the place. it's easy to find but Google and Waze will not get u there. check In was a breeze. Allen even accomated us to arrive earily.which was fantastic. we landed at 630 am it definitely helped with 3 little kids. thanks Allan. The house was super cute and nice, it had ever thing you needed for cooking. the house and yard were very spacious giving u lots of room to play around your private pool. as well as, amazing views of all the wildlife like monkeys and birds that hang out over the house Noy, the onsite grounds keeper, was what made it very special. she helped us with things we needed and made the place super homly. thanks guys for being a big part of our vacation

This place is absolutely perfect! I wished we could have stayed longer and already thinking about bringing my family to stay here. It is literally next to the highway (but surprisingly quiet) and close enough to Liberia and many attractions. The groundskeeper lives in the property but there is still a lot of privacy and she was a delight. The monkeys were the highlight for sure!

Had an excellent stay. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The house is stocked with everything you need and the dishwasher and washer/dryer were an added bonus. There is a Walmart, grocery stores/mall and the Llanos del Cortes waterfall a 15 minute drive away. The property is private from neighbours. The sounds of the highway can be heard when outside but can easily be drowned out with music. There is a caretaker that lives on the property who you will see daily as they maintain the pool and property. We saw 2 types of monkeys, iguanas, squirrels and agouti around the property. Would definitely stay here again for the relaxation.

This place was amazing. The home is well laid out, comfy beds and big open kitchen area. We ate out on the patio several times and used the pool daily. We had so much wildlife in the backyard, we didn’t want to leave. One day we saw about 10 monkeys in the trees right above the pool. We also saw iguanas, lots of birds, bats, toads and geckos. The place is 10 minutes from Liberia and checked out several different waterfalls within 20min to an hour from the house. Would absolutely recommend this place and hope to be back!

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful place in Costa Rica! The property is gorgeous and feels like your own little tropical paradise. The pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing, and we loved having fresh mangos and oranges right from the property. The monkeys visiting every day was honestly one of the highlights. Watching them swing through the trees never got old. The location is great too — super central and made it easy to explore all around the area. Noy, the caretaker, was so friendly and helpful and made everything easy for us. We felt really well taken care of. It was hard to leave this place.
