Good spot, very nice property and peaceful. Check in was a bit confusing, as you check in at Chira Glamping and then go to the property right down the road. When using GPS look up Chira. Otherwise everything was better than expected! Open spacious property and very nice indoor/outdoor pool.

Great stay, location was ideal for exploring Monte Verde. Close to all sights, restaurants, attractions while having a private space!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, well kept, and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were beyond comfortable — we all slept so well. The location is great and convenient to everything. Check-in is not directly at the property but just up the road, which was simple once we knew where to go. One thing to note: during windy nights, the gusts can be quite loud. We experienced strong winds one evening and you could definitely hear them throughout the night. I personally found it peaceful and cozy, but if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would absolutely return.

The Airbnb is in a great location. It is just up the hill from the main town of Santa Elena. The warm pool on the property is a great place to relax after a long day. They also had the most comfortable beds I’ve ever stayed in an Airbnb!

A beautiful place. As described. Very private and the pool is a 10, with its ideal temperature for the place. Everything super clean, well laid out and spacious. Super recommended. Important to know that they must register elsewhere, where access is obtained.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean & the beds were super comfortable. The hosts were very helpful with in arranging reservations for activities. The power went out very briefly & the host was extremely responsive. We enjoyed the heated pool just steps away from our place.

Great house and location and we loved the warm pool. Only issue was the map location was wrong and so we couldn't find the house. Eventually we found out that you need to check in at Chira campsite (5 mins from Google map location) and then you are given lots of information and directed to the house. Once found it was faultless service and a great house.

Marty's place was very clean and organized. The over-sized hot tub was in a great atmosphere, and was very welcome after our hikes. Best of all was the service and recommendations from Emily and other employees at the office, they were very helpful and responsive making our stay one of the best we have had.

It was our first time in Costa Rica, and we fell in love, I flew into San Jose I didn't know at the time Liberia airport is closer I didn't do my research ,nevertheless place was great and we dont regret one bit of it thank you guys.

i would say it was also one of the places that added more magic to my trip to Costa Rica 🇨🇷Pura Vida🤙🏻

This house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4. The host was super helpful, there were a lot of birds and animals to see from the property, and the location was just a few minutes away from all the activities we had planned. The only downside was that we were expecting a pool, and it is most definitely a hot tub.

This property is in a quiet and safe area. Easy to find and to get around by car or on foot - although a very steep uphill walk at the end :). It is a good place for families and the pool is great for kids. The management staff were very kind and patient.

Great location surrounded with nature. Having a heated pool was a big plus. Truly enjoyed every aspect of the property.

Lovely place - peaceful other than noise of the wind and set well back from road and other properties. Pool in beautiful setting is small and warm - good for relaxing after a day exploring. It is on a VERY steep road but well surfaced and good lighting so felt quite safe. We managed it with a baby in a stroller but it was hard work! Once you’re down on the road there are restaurants and supermarkets in 5-10 mins walk.

We liked the proximity to the town of Monteverde and shops & restaurants as well as easy treks to the main eco attractions. The place was plenty spacious for our two couple party with separate baths. Hot water was temperamental but the front desk staff was responsive. The kitchen was well outfitted though tight and does not include an oven. We prepared one stove top meal and ate out the remaining evenings. The heated pool was a welcome amenity after our morning adventures. In all - we recommend this villa.

If you love adventure, then Monteverde is the place for you: steep roads, many unpaved and lots of nature to explore. The house offers a wonderful place to relax.

Fabulous spot with very modern spacious villas. Pool was a real hit as well as all the wildlife we saw from the deck!!

Thank you for the great stay! We were very pleasing in Marty's house. The house is generously furnished, we had everything we needed on site. The next door, heated pool (great in Monteverde, as it gets quite cool in the evening) was especially fun for our children. Surroundings are fantastic, the cloud forest in the clouds is an experience! We can therefore fully recommend!!

nice cottage on a "park" of 3 cottages. pool which is shared with these 2 other cottages. cottage looked very neat. helped us book a tour well and were able to cancel it last minute for us without any issues due to the bad weather.

Magical place! Everything was so clean and comfortable. My kids absolutely loved their room with the reading loft, and having two (gorgeous) bathrooms was a luxury. The setting is beautiful. The heated pool was an unusual plus in Monteverde and we took full advantage of it. We had already booked a Selvatura package before we got there, but on our last morning we decided we should do a guided reserve tour—we called Douglas about it at 7:45 and our wonderful guide Marcos was at our door at 8:30! Amazing. (And then we got to see the resplendent quetzal with him!) we have had good luck with AirBnBs but this may have been our best ever. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in Monteverde. The cabin was perfect for our stay. Kitchen had plenty of items for cooking and some basic supplies (oil, salt, and salsa). Marty was an amazing host, always responsive to questions and helped us book our tours cheaper then the sites. We ended up booking our zip-line, night tour and chocolate tour through him. Super helpful on local recommendations and anything we needed. The pool was amazing for the kids. We saw birds and a toucan in the trees when we swam. Kids enjoyed the loft overhead to hang out in. We would stay here again.

The unit was just perfect for us. It was clean, had the right supplies, the location is nr a lot of shops and restaurants. The hosts were very responsive and assisted with guiding us for our visit to Costa Rica. We definitely recommend them

wonderful! stay, host, was very responsive and helpful with recommendations and helping us book an activity too. space was great for a family giving the kids space to play and sleep. close and convenient to town. the swimming pool wasn't added bonus while traveling with two pre-teens.

We stayed here for 3 days while we explored Monteverde with our family of 5. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Our children enjoyed the pool and used it daily.

Very nice place to stay. The unit is spacious & gave us all plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is very small, but has what you need. The heated pool was a nice bonus! The unit is very close drive to town. The concierge, Douglas, at check in was fantastic & very helpful in giving suggestions.

We traveled as 2 couples and it was a perfect 2 days/night stay. The accommodations and amenities exceeded expectations including the heated pool which was perfect after an excursion or adventure. Our host Marty was proactive in reaching out to me and our reception by Erney made us feel at home. He was able to give us an informative talk about the property as well as the activities available and town of Monteverde. Well done!

Wonderful place for families!

Very nice accommodation, perfect location in a natural and beautiful setting, undeniable comfort, we spent a week in Monteverde at Marty's (which we did not meet) with family (2 adults, 4 children including a baby), enjoyed the activities nearby. The more the comfort of the bedrooms and the heated pool that allowed us to relax in the evening and fully recover!

The houses are very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

Everything is very nice,clean and tidy, as I recommend putting a furniture for clothes and/or suitcases in one of the rooms

Was a great stay! Place was beautiful we will come back. There was a misunderstanding with the instructions on how to get there but after a call everything was clear up. GPS took us to another location.

It would have been perfect if the check-in instructions (codes for gate and key, name of cottage) had automatically been sent to us several days before our arrival since we did not have before checking in. Beautiful place, great location within walking distance to Santa Elena with its restaurants, small shops and grocery store. The pool was great for the kids, as was the little reading nook in their room accessible by stairs and a ladder. The master bedroom was great and the bathroom was enormous with a massive shower…the only issue is that the tiny shower head was dwarfed by the size of the shower enclosure…it should have been a large rain shower head like in the kids’ bathroom, and after all we are in the middle of a cloud/rain forest. Aside from the scorpion in the main room on our first day, and the way the place heats up like a greenhouse in the morning from all the sun coming in through the windows, everything went well. Marty was really helpful with booking spots on tours etc.

The place is much more luxurious than how it looks in photos. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen - all very well decorated and stocked. Bean bag chairs in the attic were nice additions. Kids hated that we stayed here only for a day.

The house is beautiful, just like the photos, a very safe private complex of 3 houses. We rented the two-bedroom house which was also the closest to the pool, which is closed and the water heated, ideal for the climate of Monteverde. The house is close to downtown Monteverde, about 1 km away, that is, close to restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy and everything you need. The Chira Glamping staff recommends attractions that suit their interests and helps you book any attraction or activity in addition to helping with any recommendations you need. The only thing I would put to the house is that it needs a closet in the main room. It was a problem not to have a closet especially in the main one, the other room had a piece of furniture that served to accommodate your clothes and personal things. We would definitely go back to the same place and recommend it to anyone who wants an excellent stay in Monteverde

We had a great stay. The Airbnb is amazing. Just few minutes to center of town. We had few bugs in the airbnb but no fault at all of host. It is right next to the rainforest.

Perfect place

The house is beautiful, spacious, very well-equipped kitchen. The rooms have one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in - better than many hotels! The pool has a very nice temperature and impeccable concierge service!! My family was delighted!! Super recommended!!

Wonderful place to stay if you're in the Monteverde region. It was perfect to two couples or a small family. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. There was even a full jar of ground coffee beans. One highlight was the excellent service by the property managers - they helped to jump our car battery one morning and assisted in obtaining tickets to the Sky Adventures Park for zip lining. We would definitely stay here again.

Casa Monteverde is a quiet retreat in a beautiful place. The rooms were large and well-appointed, with very comfortable beds, and we had all we needed in the kitchen. If televisions are important to you, they are only in the bedrooms (worked for us). The walk to get up to the property was steep, but we found it was easy to drive into town and find parking when needed. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely take advantage of San Lucas, the associated restaurant - one of the best dinner experiences we ever had!

stayed 2 nights with a group of 4. it was perfect! it was easy to find and check-in process was quick and easy. the beds were SOOOOOO COMFORTABLE. the space was very beautiful and it was great having two bathrooms. communication with hosts was great too!

Very nice stay. True to pictures and value for money. The house was in walking distance of the town, restaurants, shops etc. Check-in and -out was easy and the reception at Chira Glamping were very helpful when booking tours and giving advice. We had a windy and rainy stay in Monteverde and so the house was a bit cold. Also, the internet connection is a bit on/off, have patience. Overall a very good stay for a couple of days in Monteverde

Amazing!!! Loved every minute of it. Clean, THE most comfortable beds, everything you need is there. The heated pool was perfect for evenings after hiking. Marty’s place is beautiful, nicely decorated and private. The house is modern, well-designed and perfect for 2 couples. There is a nice view overlooking the Nicoya Peninsula in the distance. Lovely strong breezes and winds blow through the property. Nicely furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. Thanks for the coffee. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved the house. Definitely everything we needed with great communication if we needed anything. Also amazing suggestions like where to grab a bite to eat or what excursions to do. Definitely more beautiful in person, highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Marty’s Green Forest 2 bedroom house. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to make our family of five feel at home.. Having a warm pool to swim in with a beautiful view was such a nice addition. Our kids loved having games to play both in the home and at the pool. We chose to drive to town since our schedule normally didn’t allow us the time to walk. The hill to and from town is steep and although it is a doable, our kids were already tired from our daily adventuring. Marty was also an incredibly responsive host. It was a wonderful stay!

Everything was a described! AC is not needed as it gets pretty chilly at night to the point that we needed all the covers. House was great and hot showers! Pool was perfect after a day of hiking! Don’t hesitate to stay at Marty’s place! Great host

Nice and cosy place in an awesome location

Green Forest (2 bedroom) was lovely! Everything was so new and clean. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens (boy & girl) who enjoyed having their own bed and loft. We loved the pool and the view. We walked to eat and get some items at the market. It’s a very steep road but we are fit so it wasn’t a problem. We ziplined at Selvatura and they picked us up there no problem. Highly recommend Green Forest.
