Beautiful wooden style house with lovely & magnificent tree right in front of the pool. House is well equipped. Only annoyance is the key used to open the sliding door, and bbq didn't run very hot, but very minor , we enjoyed our stay! thank you

We had such a wonderful stay at this tropical poolside villa. It truly felt like a hidden gem in the Costa Rican jungle. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with thoughtful touches like the welcome baskets, which made us feel instantly at home. One of our favorite parts was the open-air design of the rooms and hallways. It created such a peaceful, immersive experience, letting us fully enjoy the sounds and beauty of nature all around us. The infinity pool was absolutely stunning and quickly became our favorite place to relax, especially with the surrounding jungle views. Our kids were thrilled with the fun bunk beds, which added an extra layer of excitement to the trip and made the space feel perfect for families. Every detail seemed carefully considered, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

This place is astonishing and exactly as the description reads. We were a small group of 3 and the home was fantastic and spacious however it feels like the type of home that would thrive with larger groups and entertaining. The pool was fantastic. We really enjoyed closing the house up when hot and then opening everything up when cooler to blend the interior living with the natural landscape. Oscar and Esteban are fantastic hosts, very responsive, generous and were quick to offer local knowledge and info whenever needed. The house genuinely is built into the jungle and so we saw a diverse number of animals; monkeys, lizards, toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, and all manner of creepy crawlies! The 4x4 requirement is a must to access the home. That said, our 4x4 allows us to go on some extraordinary drives in the area. We enjoyed Dominical, Uvita and Manuel Antonio very easily from the house. Highly recommended and we'd look to come back. 10/10

Beautiful place and location, unfortunately there were unforeseen guests at our stay. Iguanas or mice had taken the place over, fortunately Esteban was extremely helpful and we were fully refunded, would stay again after that was handled. Thank you!

Great place with great views. The pool is an amazing place to relax and take in the view. I was disappointed that there is no shared beach access from the property as listed. But the beach is a short drive. House is very private and secluded which is great.

This is a great place to stay close to Dominical and on the main road into town!

The place has a perfect location to plan excursions, from whale watching, monkey tour, ATV tour, 100s of playas, mangroves, national parks, surfing, dance lessons etc. etc. A very wide range with most only up to a maximum of 30 min drive. The location is really a dream for any adventurer. The house is super great, very nice, the pool is really something special, barbecue, totally super-equipped kitchen. We had no light in a room on the first night, this was fixed super quickly when we were on an excursion. All in all, I would even give 10 stars here, a treasure🥰♥️

Heavenly house: beautiful view of the Sea and sunset. Beautiful large and deep pool. Spacious, bright, modern house with very good quality materials. Open house in connection with nature. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living room are closed and can be opened via large bay windows. Closed shower with a large window that gives the impression of showering outside. Lots of kitchen equipment… you can stay cocooned without having to go out! It's better because around it there are mostly sodas and restaurants a little far away.

The house was amazing, it had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful views, easy drive to Dominical for great restaurants and activities. The pool was warm and clean. We saw lots of Toucans right from the patio. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here and will definitely be back! 10/10 location--short drive along the beautiful ocean highway to beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and other activities! -Super clean home with comfortable beds, and a spacious and gorgeous kitchen. -We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and outdoor deck space! During the day it's calm and peaceful, and at night it turns into a fun vibe with string lights. The road noise was very minimal and we couldn't hear it while sleeping. -Esteban, the host, was helpful, friendly, and responsive. You get the best of both worlds-- the property is conveniently located without being too far away or remote, while still being in nature and seeing birds and wildlife onsite. The town of Dominical is 5 min away, not touristy with lots of local shops and restaurants, with safe, walkable streets. Beaches are less than 10 min away as well as so much to see and explore. Overall an amazing place and a great value!

Cozy cabin in the jungle! My husband and I were so grateful to find this place last minute. I loved being so close to the local wildlife. I saw toucans and blue morpho butterflies almost every day.

An ideal place to cook, super comfortable, the fridge for the beach was ideal for bringing fresh drinks and for eating on the beach, the spectacular barbecue for cooking outside. We really enjoyed it!!

Great place, isolated in a good way, no bugs inside, it's like living in a tropical rain forest without all the bad sides. Very comfortable, you definitely need to rent a car tho. Very close to Dominical which is great. Great kitchen and outdoor barbecue. Very responsive host.

The view from this villa is incredible. Looking out from the patio, you can see all the way to the ocean. Our concierge, Oscar, was incredibly responsive and kindly worked with us to check in when we arrived later than expected. He also left us some delicious mango and watermelon! The location listed is slightly inaccurate to where the villa actually is, but it still provided easy access to the main Dominical area. Also, definitely bring 4 wheel drive as the hosts suggest, as it's a steep climb to the house. We would definitely rent from this group again!

This beautiful house was the last stop of our 3 week Costa Rica trip and we loved this great place to stay from the first moment. Everything was sparkling clean, modernly furnished and the terrace with pool was the absolute highlight. We were able to observe Tucane, hummingbirds and even a small Iguana in the garden, our very own paradise. We found the place perfectly located and were able to drive beautiful beaches from there. We can't say anything negative about volume and privacy. Our nights were quiet and relaxed and we found the cottage privately located and enjoyed our time there to the fullest. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Sincere thanks for the hospitality and Pura Vida!

The property is very well located and you can quickly reach and enjoy various beaches by car. In the seating area you can watch the birds in the morning and wake up to the sounds of the Tucans...

We had an amazing time in Costa Rica! The house and surrounding grounds were gorgeous - even better than the pictures! Oscar was such a great host - responsive, welcoming and helpful. We saw toucans, other birds and butterflies every day while sitting in the backyard. Walking the neighborhood, we saw a sloth and monkeys. We’re an outdoor family so the beautiful flora and fauna were perfect for us.

Beautiful place, we loved our stay here. Everything is very comfortable and clean, and the environment where it is located is very nice, surrounded by nature. Also the communication with the manager is very fast, he is very attentive. While the cabin is located near the road, in the evenings it was no inconvenience for us, with closed windows the noise decreases quite a bit.

Absolutely amazing! Beautiful and private! The birds in the morning and coffee were amazing! The hosue was more than we expected! Oscar was very attentive to any of of our needs! Would definitely stay again! If you have motion sickness definitely take Dramamine for the ride in and up to the house but it was also very cool and the views were incredible!! Great place.

What an incredible Air BnB with a wonderful open concept. Much of the homes hallways are open air with living spaces enclosed and air conditioned. The pictures absolutely do not do it justice, the views are incredible, property is beautiful to walk, and the home beautifully done. I will say, 4x4 to get here is an absolute must so please make sure your rental is 4x4 or AWD equipped for your own safety.

Place had phenomenal views! It is a bit of a challenge to get to at first but after a couple trips it not too bad. Just use caution and 4x4 vehicle. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and enjoyed time in the pool and watched some wildlife. The garden was also very enjoyable. Keep in mind it is in the mountains and surrounding wilderness. Estaban met us at night and drove us to home after it took us a while to drive from airport. Great service.

We loved the convenient location and how close we were to everything--only a 7 minute drive to Dominical and less than 10 minutes to multiple beaches. On the property we saw iguanas, lizards, beautiful birds, squirrels, and AGOUTI, as well as a variety of plants, flowers, and fruit trees. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The bed was very comfortable, and there was fast internet, strong A/C, and a small kitchen to cook simple meals. The cabin was a perfect place to sleep and relax when we weren't out exploring this beautiful area of Costa Rica. When off enjoying the local scenes or sleeping peacefully at night, the property is secured by an electric gate so it’s very safe. We would gladly stay again!

If you are looking for a place to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Pacific South, wake up and enjoy a variety of birds and their songs, while you have breakfast by the pool, and at the end of the day, go to see the sunsets of those who catch your breath, then get to the comfort of the hut where you can prepare a roast meat, see the tree lit up and take a dip in the pool. Don't hesitate, Esteban's property is great. I can't overlook to say that although it is distanced from the main road, there is a high vehicular volume, especially in the day, at night the gorgeous air conditioning silences all noise. What you see in the pictures is what you'll find.

For the price & location this Airbnb is 10/10. Approximately 5 mins from Dominical, & 30 from Uvita. The pool was very clean on our arrival, basic needs all provided. Me and my group loved this place. The only negative point (not really) is that initially it was hard to find on maps. However, once found, everything was perfect!

Esteban’s place was great. Everything was as expected. Small but had everything we needed. We did a bunch of cooking and it worked well for us. The kitchen was well stocked in regards to tools. There was no oil, salt, pepper tho. So be sure to have your own. We travel with the necessities so it wasn’t a problem for us. The only real issue for us was some of the noise. The noise from the road and the neighbours dogs. We don’t like using a/c very much so the first night we slept w the windows open and the noise came in for sure. But the second. I gut we opted for the a/c which worked really well and we closed the windows which helped w any noise immensely. Highly recommend this spot. Easy to get to, clear concise instructions, and responsive team. Muy bien

This is a stunning place. You basically live in the jungle, with fantastic views and wild animals (Coati, Toucans, huge toads, monkeys) to watch from the living room or bedroom. Perfect to wind down. Thanks to the additional bug-proof doors, you can leave the glass doors open and it feels like sleeping in a jungle. The house is equipped with all cooking gear, but bring your own spices and food. The pool is lovely and of course a favorite for our kids. We also loved the nicely tended garden. Oscar and Esteban are excellent hosts - always available for any questions, helpful with tips and very friendly. As mentioned in other reviews, the road indeed is somewhat challenging (very steep and long, only manageable with 4x) , so this is a place to stay and not the best basis for short trips down and up. I f you follow this (i.e. if we recommend doing the trip down to the sea not too often and bring food for several days). If you follow this advice, you are in for a treat.

Beautiful place! Pool is small but just what you need to cool down! The grill and air conditioner were a big plus. We loved the comfort of staying here. The AC in the bedroom cools the whole cabin too if you’re patient. Kitchen is stocked but doesn’t have spices. Backyard is gorgeous and with a big tree lit up at night.

easy acces to Dominical, quite spot, cozy place

This was a nice little cabin very close to Dominical (~5 minute drive is accurate) and about 20 minute drive from Uvita. Also ~5-10 minutes from Nauyaca falls. I had a bit of a hard time locating the entrance the first time around due multiple dirt roads all in line; but, check in was easy after I found it (and it was easier in daylight). Cozy and in a convenient area!

Place to rest and very beautiful

We stayed with our two children for a week in Esteban's house. We used it as the first stop of our Costa Rica trip to arrive and it was just perfect!! The house is even nicer than the pictures and more spacious. Everything was very clean. There was even a swimming toy in the pool which was perfect for the kids. And Esteban was always easily accessible. To the beach to Dominical it is only 10 minutes by car where there is a starnd where you can get there by car and give everything you need. We saw great birds in the garden and watched the squirrel eating banan every morning. It's really the absolutely perfect place to relax and be AKtiv. Would do again right away!

This place was awesome! Stayed for a few days and can’t wait to go back. Just make sure you have a 4x4 for the road up to the house. Host was pleasant and very helpful!

We immediately felt comfortable in the cabin of Esteban. Since the cabin we first booked was a defect in the air conditioning system, we got an upgrade at short notice and moved to the larger apartment for four people. This is right behind the house for two people. The larger cabin is very well equipped with a large stove, oven, microwave and many kitchen appliances. In addition, there is a small pool where you can cool off very well. We've been watching birds there. We liked the toucans that came to the trees on the property. Communication with Oscar, the property manager on site, worked out very well. He immediately responded to our requests, thank you for that. We would come back anytime. Clear recommendation!

AMAZING VIEW!!! Beautiful home with new appliances! Very private! Lots of wildlife!! It’s quite the drive to get there but worth it!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and Oscar was a wonderful host!!! We’ll be back!!

What a great relaxing place to stay! The photos are pretty, but definitely do not do the actual views justice! I loved how you could open up all the windows in the bedroom and feel like we were sleeping right outside in the middle of nature.

It was a beautiful house and it is as in the pictures. Beautifull view. It is not easy to get there but Oscar was in comunication with us all the time and even went with us to the house the first time. Very recomended house. Juan

Hands down, this is the most beautiful home we’ve ever had the privilege of staying in. The view is spectacular—jungle green, then the blue Pacific, and sunsets beyond compare. Oscar, the concierge, was kind and helpful and promptly responded to any questions. The furnishings and beds were lush and comfortable after all our outside activities. The A/C was amazing. But the best part of the whole place is the pool. Sitting in the pool and watching butterflies, grasshoppers, lizards, birds, monkeys. My whole family loved every minute. Thank you, Esteban, for sharing paradise with us. We cannot wait to come back some day.

The view here is absolutely worth the difficult and long drive on steep gravel roads. The place was beautiful and functional. There are some restaurants about 10 minutes away. It’s a lovely and romantic spot. Our concierge, Oscar, was very friendly and helpful.

This place is the greatest. I would recommend this to any and everyone. The view is unbelievable. It literally had to be seen to be believed. Very private outdoor area. The house itself it great. Everything you need is there and super comfortable. Just be sure to bring some oil/butter and salt/pepper/seasonings, as there is none. Oscar was a great concierge and helped answer any/all questions about the area. Road up to the house was a surprise at first, but it turns into a fun drive after you do it once. Worth every minute it takes to get up there. There is also a nice restaurant on the dirt road up to the house called Scala. Highly recommend it for upscale food and drinks. Just past that is a bar called Jolly Roger for beers and wings with an excellent view. The only reason I would recommend you don’t book this spot is so to prevent you potentially taking time away that I could spend here.

A restful stay in paradise. This gorgeous property is as described in the photos. The feel is both luxurious and peaceful. Property was spotless. Fully equipped kitchen, grill, and laundry room. Comfortable beds. Water pressure and temp were great. AC units in each room cooled rooms within minutes. Gorgeous views from the pool, patio, balcony, and garden. The house offers something for everyone: fun at the pool; quiet space to enjoy a nice cup of coffee; wrap up a fun day watching a movie. Esteban and Oscar were responsive and hospitable immediately after we confirmed our booking and during our stay. Oscar gave us great recommendations to local fisheries. The property is centrally located. 45 min from MA and Quepos area. 40 min from Nauyaca Waterfalls. If you need a break from cooking or want a good cup of coffee, Cafe Fuego is a solid choice. Supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, pizzeria, and beautiful beaches within 10-15 minute drive. We only wished we had stayed longer.

Beautiful, luxury feel home with stunning view. Exactly as pictured and everything was clean and comfortable. The drive up is steep but pretty easy to navigate if you’re used to hills/mountains. We did, however, decide to only make the trip down once a day. This worked well for us - relaxing mornings and evenings at the house and all day out exploring. Bring groceries - no nearby market. Also, the house is well equipped but doesn’t have staple pantry items and minimal shampoo/conditioner. Once you get to the main highway, it is a great location to access Uvita, Ojochal, and Dominical. The nearby beach Playa Hermosa is wonderful and they have snacks, a small souvenir market, and small surf/boogie board and chair and umbrella rentals. The restaurants in Dominical and Uvita were very fun, and we really enjoyed a sunset dinner at Bar Jolly Roger (about a third of the way up the road that gets you to the house).

Great little cabin on beautiful grounds! Unfortunately, the dog barking & the street was quite noisy. Nevertheless, a very nice and recommended stay!

The cabin has everything you need for a couple's stay, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils to prepare your own food, the bed is comfortable and the shower has excellent water pressure to cool off after a day at the beach or waterfalls. Close to 4 beaches (Dominical, Dominicalito, Hermosa and Playa Linda), all less than 15 minutes away. The property is beautiful, full of fruit trees and very safe, 75m from the main street but far enough away that you won't be bothered by the noise of vehicles. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay. Pictures don’t actually do this place justice, it’s even better in person. The drive up the hill is no joke, 4x4 recommended.

Our stay at Esteban’s home was perfect! The views were breathtaking, the house was spacious and everything was as it was described. Carlos from Esteban’s team met us and was there for every little thing we needed- he was incredible responsive and helpful! You will definitely need 4WD for the ride up which gets easier with each time. I absolutely plan to be back!

If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful, private getaway you can't do better than this place. Gorgeous house and location. We stayed for our honeymoon, and it was incredible. Our concierge Oscar was so responsive, friendly, and helpful the entire time. He made the trip that much more enjoyable. The town of Dominical was quaint and friendly, and loved it. You'll need a 4WD vehicle to get to the house, which is about 20 minutes up a pretty steep and bumpy dirt road. But if you're up for the adventure, you'll absolutely love it.

Amazing place amazing support, want to touch on the difficulty of navigating the place in the description, you need 4x4, the road is sketchy. It does get better the second time, but know you’re almost 30 min in the mountains before you get to the main road. Other than that, this couldn’t of been a better place to stay, 10/10. It’s beautiful, we saw toucans, monkeys, it’s super comfy, it was a home away from home.

Great place great food great chef clean environment. Amazing view!! Only thing is that the drive from the airport is about 3.5 hrs but worth every second. My suggestion is to stay over night at San Jose and then drive on the next day. The concierge was very helpful and super nice. Would go back in a heart beat.

Beautiful place — a great stay! Gorgeous view of the Whale Tail and lots of toucans to greet you in the mornings. We loved looking out at the jungle and the ocean while swimming in the infinity pool. Plenty of cookware (though yes, you do need to buy all of your groceries including oil and condiments — the super right before Dominical has a great selection). Comfortable accommodations including a washer and dryer which definitely were useful toward the end of our trip. Oscar was such a kind and gracious contact — he gave us an awesome recommendation with Bahia Adventures for a whale watching tour and we saw humpback whales and false killer whales for the first time :) All in all a great choice if you are staying in Uvita/Dominical. You definitely need a 4x4 vehicle.
