Casa Sandra was everything we could have asked for; gorgeous views of the ocean, helpful and responsive host, and amazing wildlife. Paradise!

Great host! The property is beautiful and well appointed. I can’t say enough good things about the host, she was phenomenal! If you are going to Manuel Antonio this is one of the best places to stay.

This stop was a bit of a splurge for us but what a fantastic property. The views are so worth it and there is a grocery store 3 min walk from the house. We really enjoyed the balconies and making some of our own meals. I would highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay here. The view alone is worth it — absolutely stunning. We loved waking up to see toucans and colorful parrots/macaws flying around every day. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise. Maria was absolutely amazing! She was responsive and helped us book an amazing guided tour through the national park. We wouldn’t have seen much without him. The only downside during our stay was that the WiFi wasn’t working consistently. However, I didn’t notice this mentioned in other reviews, so I’m thinking it may not be a common issue. There were also plenty of nearby spots with reliable WiFi if needed. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for beautiful views, nature, and a relaxing Costa Rica experience.

Beautiful location in Manuel Antonio with vast vegetation, local wild life and spectacular views. It is near restaurants, shops and the local bus which will take you down to the beach and back up when you’re ready to return. The home is three stories, clean and welcoming. Neighbors are close but with lush and robust vegetation you feel secluded. Concierge was great and having the housekeeper come in onetime was just a nice to have but certainly not needed do our family as we tend to keep things tidy. I would recommend Donna’s home.

Wonderful place to stay in Manuel Antonio! We loved the beautiful ocean and sunset views and getting to watch the monkeys that came right near the house each morning. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and responsive host.

As others noted, the pictures don’t do this home and view justice. It’s a truly amazing location and the home was fantastic. It’s extremely walkable to many restaurants in Manuel Antonio and super private. This was an exceptional alternative to a hotel and provided incredible seclusion from the crowds but close to everything.

Would come back to stay here if we ever come back to Manuel Antonio!

A new favorite in MA! The actual views are even better than what's shown in photos and the location is great for a quick stroll to numerous restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces and were amused by the quirkiness of the monkey's that came for a daily morning visit! We look forward to returning again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely location!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Quepos! The property was exactly as shown in the pictures clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved being able to relax and take it all in each day. A big highlight of our stay was the concierge, Maria. She was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us with all our activity bookings, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. The location is also perfect within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We loved our stay at Casa Sandra. It’s exactly as the pictures described. Our family of 5 enjoyed having the 3 levels so that we could spread out during our stay. The views were beautiful and our kids loved seeing the wildlife from our patio. The monkeys and Scarlet Macaws were our favorite. It feels secluded and private with a great location in walking distance to a small market and few places to eat. It’s a short drive to Manuel Antonio National park and lots of other restaurants. Maria the concierge was very helpful in answering our questions, giving recommendations and booking excursions for us. We loved our stay at Casa Sandra and can’t wait to go back!

We had a great stay at Casa Sandra! Beautiful home as described and very close to everything. It’s close to other homes, but very secluded and private. The balconies are a great place to observe the local animals. We saw scarlet macaws, toucans, along with other birds and were visited by capuchin monkeys almost every morning! House was clean and comfortable. We didn’t get to use the pool unfortunately because the monkeys were dipping in it, so we decided not to. We were also visited by a very loud kinkajou every night. Neither of these things were any fault of the owners, just part of being in the rainforest. Our concierge Maria greeted us when we arrived and departed and was very helpful and friendly! We loved our stay and didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful place, exactly like the description! Just around the corner from stores and restaurants and very walkable in the Manuel Antonio area. Maria was an amazing asset and helped us with a number of things during the week and tours. My wife and I were there with friends and we highly recommend, it was a great week.

13/10 this experience was everything we imagined and more! House was perfect for our family of 5. We liked the sleeping set up on top and bottom floor and making in middle. The 3 porches overlook the pacific and there are scarlet macaws and beautiful squirrel monkeys in the trees. Can walk to 5 star restaurants and we loved the MA beach for the kids. So many activities. The whole process was seamless and made our experience relaxing and enjoyable for Christmas with the family. The house is safe, clean and well stocked in the kitchen for cooking. We can’t say enough great things about the house, the host and everyone else who helped make our stay so wonderful. It is 100% pura vida.

Casa Sandra was a delightful house. Great location, beautiful home and loved all the monkey and bird sightings…even watched a whale breaching in the ocean from the balcony! Thanks for letting us enjoy your wonderful oasis!

This was probably one of my favorite Airbnbs ever! The house was nestled on a lush hillside and gave us everything we were looking for. Plenty of space, well appointed furnishings, and a stunning view. The hosts were very helpful in offering recommendations and booking activities for us. If we ever come back, we won’t think twice about booking Casa Sandra again.

Had a fantastic stay, very comfortable house to spend the week. Had monkeys visit us most days and the decks are great for spotting birds - we saw toucans and scarlet macaws among others. The plunge pool is super clean and a great way to cool down. Was so nice to just walk up the street to grab groceries or if we are out of something. There are two small markets right at the top of the street in addition to the super market a little further down.

The rental was spacious and comfortable. I love that there were 3 bathrooms. The decks on each floor were nice. Access to the concierge to book activities and get help was great!

We loved our stay at Donna’s Airbnb! The host was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. There was someone there to meet us at check-in and show us around the house/answer any further questions about the house and the town. The views were truly spectacular; We were able to see a toucan, monkeys, and a parrot off the balcony! There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance (if you’re up for hills!) otherwise, they recommended an excellent taxi service for further away locations. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Beautiful villa in the heart of a beautiful part of Cost Rica. Lots of nearby restaurants and a couple of grocery stores within walking distance make this a great location. 5 min drive to the beach. Great parking for car if you rent one. Maria the property concierge is very responsive and helpful - she helped book tours for us during our stay. All in all a wonderful place for a family reunion.

Fantastic location! Amazing views, private, and wildlife visited everyday. We loved the master suite! Beds are comfy and furniture accommodated all. Washer & dryer a plus! The views alone with the swings were the best! We loved it and would stay again!

This place is really special. It’s tucked into a rainforest garden at the top of the hill overlooking the ocean. Each of the three balconies has a different character, from the jungle below to the tree tops above. We saw tons of wildlife at the house, including the resident sloth, toucans, and playfully entertaining monkeys. The layout is perfect for our two couples. We each got a floor! We spent lots of time enjoying the pool and several lounge area options. The host was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Definitely take them up on tour and activity scheduling. Our guide and chef were top notch!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great for our family and conveniently located to Manuel Antonio Park, grocery stores, restaurants, and other activities we wanted to do in the area. We were visited by monkeys and other wildlife at the house so felt like we did get the full Costa Rica experience.

The layout of the house was a little inconvenient with the pool only accessible through the master bedroom, but we made it work. The house was very well stocked and clean. Maria was very helpful and easy to work with and made us feel at home. We really enjoyed the home and visiting Manuel Antonio.

The house was in a great location. You can walk to various places, while also having a beautiful view of the ocean and luscious greenery. Due to the surroundings we were lucky to see toucans, that also woke us up, as they tapped the window with their beaks. The place was just right for our group of six. We appreciated Maria, the concierge, who helped arrange a few activities for us. Overall, definitely recommend!

Casa Sandra was wonderful! We are a family of 5 and this house was perfect for us. The house is very clean and has everything we needed. Maria, the concierge was extremely helpful! We appreciated the time and help she provided. Anytime we had a question, she responded to our messages right away. We hired the private chef one night, which I do recommend if you want to say in or take a night off from cooking. From our top floor we saw many monkeys, a sloth and lots of birds! This was a highlight for us and especially the kids. We spent a lot of time on the top porch. Bring binoculars! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommended and return to Casa Sandra!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Sandra. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was a great location for exploring. Maria was fantastic at setting up activities for us and answering questions. We were visited by monkeys several times, which was always enjoyable (you can be outside with them safely as long as you don’t have food). We would highly recommend Casa Sandra to anyone looking for the perfect Costa Rican vacation!

We loved staying at Casa Sandra and everything we needed was taken care of. Fernanda was wonderful and responded with answers to all of our questions very quickly. The house is in an excellent location to restaurants, markets and town. We loved the well equipped kitchen and having coffee on the balcony watching the wildlife. Would definitely stay here again while visiting Manuel Antonio!

Great house with beautiful ocean views. The location is extremely convenient to Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Restaurants and grocery stores are within easy walking distance.

This villa is in a great location and is very well appointed. It has an amazing concierge service who checked in with us every day or so, arranged all our tours for pick-up right at the villa and made sure we were doing well. It's got beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets from the balconies, lots of birds and the monkeys even came to visit one morning. We would have liked to have access to the washer and dryer (only the cleaning lady did and while she offered to do laundry it wasn't always on a day we needed it), but that is a small issue. On the whole, it was a fantastic stay and I'd recommend it to anyone, because while expensive, the service provided makes it well worth the cost.

Donna’s place far exceeded our expectations and the photos don’t even do the beauty, serenity and quality justice. Costa Rica Manuel Antonio was a bucket list trip for our family, especially coming out of the last two years of travel restrictions. March break was perfect timing for us to book something exciting for our two girls aged 14 & 16, and exciting it was!! It was the perfect place for a family of four with two teens as we had the master on the top floor and the girls had their independence being on the lower level. I was nervous about booking an Airbnb for a trip like this, but all of my nerves were taken away as soon as I confirmed Donna’s place. The communication between Donna and her team is unmatched in the air bnb world. She immediately put me in touch with her team that started helping me plan our Costa Rica vacation months before we even arrived. Maria Fernanda is the point person for the entire operation and has a heart of gold. She was amazing at understanding what we were looking for and arranged and booked for us all of our “activities” ahead of time which included a private transfer to and from San Jose airport to the villa, a private chef dinner on our first night of arrival, a sport fishing charter, beach days, ziplining and a visit to Manuel Antonio national park. I HIGHLY recommend ALL of it, especially the private chef dinner which was such a treat on our first night, as we got to enjoy the views and settle in at Casa Sandra while two amazing chefs cooked up the most delicious, freshest meal we could have asked for after a long day of travel. Maria Fernanda was attentive our entire trip, helped us with taxis, beach days and recommendations to local restaurants and all of the details. The staff is so trusting, that by the end of our trip I truly felt like I made friends. I accidentally locked myself out of our safe and I had no problem with Maria popping over even if we weren’t there to open it in our absence. Casa Sandra is situated in the perfect spot in Manuel Antonio as it is in between Manuel Antonio park and beach which is a bit more touristy and Quepos with easy bus access to both. We decided not to rent a car and we are glad we made that decision. The roads are narrow, winding, hilly and not marked well. I think it would have been more of a point of stress if you aren’t familiar with the area and I don’t believe it would have been a cost saver at all. The Vilia is situated on a neat little corner with all the amenities you need right down the street while feeling like you are totally secluded in the rainforest. When you’re in the villa you really feel like you’re in nature a top of the canopy living with all of the wildlife that comes to visit right at your doorstep. We had monkeys, toucans, flying macaws, parrots and even a kinkajou visit us during our stay. Our photos look like they are straight out of national geographic. Sitting in the hammocks or the basket swings right outside of the master became a daily ritual for both coffee in the morning and an aperol spritz while enjoying the sunset. Oh and can we talk about the sunset!! So the one thing to know in Manuel Antonio is that unless you are above the canopy line overlooking the water you won’t get a view of the sunset, so people often visit one of the few restaurants that has a view to catch the sunset. At Casa Sandra you get to enjoy the sunset everyday from the comfort of your own place! The plunge pool off the master is the perfect size and is always cool, which is so nice after being in the Costa Rica heat. We had zero rain and fantastic weather the entire week we were there. This was a trip of a lifetime which was only made possible by Casa Sandra, Donna and especially Maria Fernanda!! The memories we made as a family are ones we will treasure forever. If you are considering booking Casa Sandra, look no further, you stumbled across a diamond in the rough!!

This home is absolutely stunning and very relaxing. We loved how open it was and how well equip the kitchen was for everything we needed! The weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and monkeys early in the morning. Once one monkey comes, the whole gang follows so be aware of that because they can get a little too comfortable/ aggressive if you think just giving one a piece of banana is cute, just know the whole gang is coming soon- Fernanda was wonderful and answered all of our questions and made plans very easy to facilitate. We had the in home chef service and it was lovely- the chefs were so friendly and sweet! Grocery store and restaurants in walking distance and you can have Fernanda call a taxi or use Uber until you get a lay of the land. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, big thank you to Donna and Fernanda for providing such an amazing environment for us to feel safe and surrounded by beauty!

We stayed in case Sandra for 5 days and really enjoyed every second!! The house is exactly how it’s described if not better!! The house was very clean and the view from the 3rd floor deck is beautiful!! We had monkeys come visit us every morning they come around 7 am ( nothing to be scared of because they’re scared of you too) Maria was so helpful and she always answered us right away….she arranged all our trips helped us get a COVID test and booked all our taxis!! Everyone is very helpful and honest…the maid came to clean and do our laundry…I by mistake left some cash in my pocket and when the maid was doing the laundry she found it and left it for me right near my freshly folded clothing!!! To make a long story short we had a great time and highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice vacation!!!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Sandra. We are a family of 6 with two adult children and 2 tweens. They all enjoyed the large sprawling three floors we had to spread out and bathrooms for all! The balconies (including morning monkey visits) and views (complete with giant Macaws and Tucans in the early morning flying by) were fantastic as was the kitchen where we had breakfast each morning. The location was perfect as well as we had several tours lined up and pick up was a breeze. We had rented a van and parked on the street (there is a garage but our microbus was too big to make it up driveway) and used it when we needed for dinner and groceries. House managers Thomas and Maria Fernanda were amazing. The communication started before we left the US and Maria Fernanda was in constant communication with us as we traveled from San Jose to Manuel Antonio and were delayed due to rental car issues and a rain storm. Impeccable customer service, transparency, and organization all around. The house was immaculate, exactly as displayed on AirBnB, and we were all very pleased. Would return in a heartbeat to the home and the area (just love it!) and highly recommend renting from Donna and working with her team for any of your needs (tours, chef, laundry service, etc). Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. We spent one week in July. The location is convenient as described and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance as well as super Joseph grocery store around the corner. We walked to two beaches but if you cannot walk there is a bus stop next to the house. We had dozens of monkeys visiting every morning which was fun for everyone. Saw parrots and aguti as well. The only thing for improvement is that the dishwasher was not really working properly- meaning it works but does not clean the dishes as expected. Also not being able to do laundry when we needed but only once during our stay (the laundry room is locked and only maid can do it during the mid stay cleaning) was not convenient and I wish it was more clear in the description. We did not use the pool so no comments on that - it’s a bit small and always in shadowed area / felt cold so kids did not want to get in. Overall great experience and awesome concierge service! Fernanda was our concierge and organized every single detail we asked including the covid test, tours, transfers. I even sent her random questions and she was very prompt in responses and always very knowledgeable and polite. Thank you.

This place was great! The view from the top balcony was awesome. Great place to watch the sunset! It’s quite warm in quepos so the plunge pool on the top balcony was great! There are quite a few good restaurants within a short distance. Monkeys came to visit every day of our stay. They were quite fun to watch play in the trees! Mari the Conciarge was very prompt answering any info my call or texts. She was very helpful with any questions we had. The kitchen has pretty much anything you will need to cook.. including a coffee grinder for local beans. The home also has a garage to park in. And air conditioning in each room. This is a great place to stay!

Had a great experience. House was clean and well stocked. All beds were comfortable. Maria, the concierge contact was very responsive and helpful when necessary. Location was perfect for our purposes and the few times we used the bus just down the road was very convenient. Walking on the main road to the restaurants may seem dangerous at first but it is totally safe and easy. Having the pool to cool off in after a long day was a great treat and the outdoor spaces made it all very relaxing. We enjoyed the visits from the very entertaining but aggressive monkeys - (be sure to stay indoors!). We used the chef suggested by the concierge for one meal which was delicious.

This is a beautiful property with an amazing sunset view! The hosts are super helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This house is conveyor Quepos and the beaches.
