Villa Guanacaste, zen, pool, beach, enjoy!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und schön. Auch der Aussenbereich bietet viel Platz und Möglichkeiten für ein BBQ und zum Entspannen. Es werden genug Bade- und Duschtücher sowie Shampoo zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Kommunikation, die während des Aufwnthalts über Stéphanie lief, war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet.

Un immense merci à notre hôte Stéphanie pour cet incroyable séjour! Dès notre arrivée, Stéphanie et son conjoint ont pris soin de nous comme rarement nous l’avons vécu. La maison est tout simplement magnifique, parfaitement entretenue et dotée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour passer des vacances mémorables. Leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur souci du détail ont fait toute la différence. Ils ont tout mis en œuvre pour que nous nous sentions chez nous et pour rendre notre séjour exceptionnel du début à la fin. Comme si notre voyage n’était pas déjà assez mémorable, nous avons également vécu des événements hors du commun : le passage de la tempête tropicale Cristina dimanche soir et lundi, ainsi qu’un tremblement de terre de magnitude 5,1 hier soir! Malgré ces situations inhabituelles, Stéphanie est demeurée présente, rassurante et attentionnée, ce qui nous a permis de traverser ces moments en toute confiance.

This villa is great. Quiet location and a few meters down at the main road is a good restaurant. The accomodation offers a lot of privacy and good space. We loved the pool and the garden with a few animals coming to visit during the day - you can hear howler monkeys sometimes and spot iguanas often. The communication was easy and uncomplicated. In the dry season the area can have some issues with water supply, but Melanie and the team try to manage as good as possible (thankfully we were not affected).

Amazing stay! Very cute neighbourhood. Central location to many different beaches and amenities. Love our stay, will return!

What a pleasure to stay at Melanie’s Place, we are already working on plans to return. We are two retired couples from Canada, we stayed for 6 nights - but could have happily stayed longer. The place was as pictured and described, it was clean and we could several fresh fruits left on the kitchen table to enjoy. The setting feels like you’re in a garden. The mattresses were soft and comfortable. Stephanie was very helpful and responded quickly to all our questions and resolved all our issues as she is very close by. Between the pool and air conditioning, we were able to stay cool even on very hot days. There are no nearby groceries stores (we went to Hausas), and it’s a short drive to the beach. There are restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. We would highly recommend this great villa, an exceptional value for us.

We had a great stay at Villa Guanacaste. Mélanie was responsive and helpful. The space is beautiful, and a convenient 5-minute drive to gorgeous Playa Grande beach. A couple downsides: there was no hot water throughout our stay and we had to take cold showers as a result. We also had no running water for 2 days, which meant we did not have drinking water and could not cook our meals or shower. We were told this was a city issue. The host was very apologetic (and we understand this was out of their control) and brought us bottled jugs of water, which we appreciated. Overall, we recommend Villa Guanacaste for your Playa Grande trip!

Melanie's place was the perfect space for our family vacation! There was space for everyone to have there own private sleeping areas as well as many common areas for people to enjoy. There was a living room, pool area, outside spacious table, and a full mezzanine over the guest house. We were 6 adults in total and everyone had plenty of room. We would not hesitate to reccomend this place and would love to stay here again. The host was amazing. They gave great local reccomendations and even was flexible on an early check in to drop our bags off as we had an early flight in. Thank you for the most amazing vacation space! 💗 -Luisa

Nous avons passé un beau séjour. La piscine et les installations extérieures étaient très bien.

Melanie's property was exactly what we were looking for this vacation. The house was as described and worked well for us. We planned on cooking most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was sufficently equipped for easy, basic meals. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well when we needed it. The pool area was lovely and the outside eating area was perfect for enjoying our meals. the rooftop terrace was covered and a nice place to read or hangout as it has a lot of comfortable seating. There was a couple restaurants within close walking distance and many beaches were a short drive away. The house felt very secure and private as it had a gated wall around it and you needed a key to get in. Overall, we had a great time and the house suited our needs in every way.
