Great host, beautiful space, great building. Just hard to get a good nights sleep between the noise of the trains and the noise of the broken AC. A bit frustrating.

Yorleny is an amazing host!!!! I miss my connecting flight for what was to be my first day in Costa Rica and had this place scheduled for that night. However since I missed flight I no longer needed the room for that night. Yorleny was gracious enough to allow me to move my accommodation to the last night I would be in town which helped immensely! The place was also as described in the post! Excellent location tons of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. Next time I’m in San Jose I will definitely stay here again!

The place is very central, safe, has many places to visit, close to everything, and the apartment is very comfortable!

If my review was based on the space alone, it would be five stars. It is exactly like the photos - beautiful, clean, with an amazing view and a great location within walking distance of many restaurants. Our check-in experience was not ideal, though. The person checking us in took photos of our passports on their phone and appeared to text them to someone without explaining why or how the information would be used. The process also took quite a while while we sat waiting with little communication about what was happening. Clear communication about the process would have made a big difference. We understand that recording passport information may be required in some countries, but having photos taken and sent from a personal phone without explanation felt uncomfortable. The host was responsive afterward and tried to help clarify the situation but the experience still impacted our quick one night stay.

My family had a great stay here. Nice neighborhood with a lot of shopping and restaurants in walking distance.

Everything was great and convenient and safe.

I am not going to say anything bad about  this place.  My only concern  is about  the checking in. The check in employees are not friendly.  I sent my information  to the host ahead of time and they  were still asking me for the information  again at the front desk.

Yorlenys place is super nice, very comfy and cozy. Place was clean and had great AC. You have a nice view of the city. A great spot to enjoy San Jose, the building has a pool, play area, chill zones and at the base was some great eateries. Near by were some lovely cafes and restaurants too and not a long walk into centre. I’d recommend. We stayed as a family of three with a 5 year old. The apartment was clean, had great amenities and a great view.

What a lovely stay with had in San Jose. The barrio is chock full of restaurants, cafes, and a variety of cool parks and places. I highly recommend exploring the top floor of this building as it has incredible views and a super cool aesthetic. The one thing I would recommend is to bring ear plugs for the tram. It starts running at like 4 am and you can hear that thing’s horn no matter where it is in the city. 😅

Great place! The building amenities are a perk and also family-friendly. The only issue would be the occasional train noise, but other than that, we would recommend staying here if you would like to be close to parks and restaurants, walking distance.

Super easy check-in and check-out and a very convenient parking garage. Location was easy to find and there were several restaurants within walking distance. All kinds of amenities in the building itself and incredible views of the city from the top floor! Would stay here again!

The apartment is great. Location very walkable to great restaurants and bars in the Escalante neighborhood. Safe and clean. The URBN is an upscale high rise with great views. The free gym and parking is a fantastic. The apartment has everything you would need including great views from small balcony. Check in takes a bit long as everything is handwritten into book for every person entering. Unfortunately I had a group of 6 infront of me. But once this was done it’s a breeze. Communication with host is superb. I even received a little gift. Very much appreciated. I will definitely return.

We loved the location of this apartment and the fun amenities on the other floors were very cool. There are so many places to eat around the building, you will not go hungry. The host was very responsive and gave good recommendations for places to eat around the apartment. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well. Great water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed having snacks outside on the small patio overlooking the city. If you are a light sleeper, remember to bring some earplugs, as there is a lot of city noise into the wee hours of the night. We enjoyed this property and would return!

This was an okay deal. Was walking distance to great restaurants. We only stayed one night but the living area/ kitchen is much smaller than expected. Literally 120 to 140 sq ft at most. Everything else was smooth and the views on the 29th floor were awesome .

Easy check in and out. Super quick stay but definitely worth the price.

This place has a lot to offer, and over all a great recommendation. Only a few paces to the north are many, many great restaurants and bars. L'avenue right across the street is a great little cafe/restaurant where we had some great coffee and breakfast. To the west are some great museums, parks, similar landmarks. If you're willing to walk the 25-30 minutes down the main avenue and are interested in the local experience there's the Central Market too, and plenty of local vendors along the way. The apartment itself is very well kept and tasteful. It's a little smaller than expected, but not so much that you notice with 2 bedrooms and a very nice bathroom. The kitchenette has everything you need, including a coffee machine and a counter-top induction stove. I wouldn't recommend planning a five course meal here, but it has everything you need to make a breakfast or dinner. Besides, there are so many local spots nearby where you can try amazing cuisine. 5 stars, would recommend!

This was a great apartment on the ninth floor with wonderful views from both bedrooms. There is a little balcony that you can sit on and get some air. Everything was clean and functioned well. Be sure to check out the views up on the 29th floor in the lounge. Check-in was easy and there is very secure parking. You have to provide your passport number in advance, which I am not used to, but apparently that’s normal here. It is quite noisy at night with people partying down below and car alarms going off. But we were there on a Saturday night so it’s probably better on other nights.

Yorleny was such a great host and was quick to communicate with us before and during our stay. She was helpful with recommendations and fixing things when we couldn’t figure out the technology in the apartment. Her place was perfect for the tail end of our stay in Costa Rica to check out San Jose before flying back home. The apartment is in the most perfect neighborhood! Many restaurants and bars just steps away. There is a market close by as well. We could walk to all of the museums and downtown shopping. If you’re a light sleeper, bring good silicone earplugs. There is a train that runs by the house and it is a metropolitan location. I am a light sleeper but had no prob with earplugs. My friends didn’t use and had no problem with the noise. The kitchen is equipped. Yorleny also provided nice soap and shampoo in the bathroom. It was a super cute and cozy apt. We did not use the amenities in the building but the gym looked great! There is a filtered water machine there too.

Very responsive host! Great location. Cool building and fun, unique little apartment. Lots of knick knacks in the apartment so if you have a curious toddler maybe look at the photos more carefully than I did, so you don’t constantly have to put things out of reach. 😂 That was my mistake though. Would love to stay there again on my own or with a friend! Restaurants all around and easy to walk to.

The apartment is cozy and comfortable, and the view is very nice. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. The building is very secure and easy to navigate to and find. The area is cool, just around the corner are amazing restaurants and cafes, we definitely enjoyed the food! It was loud for us at night, but we are not used to the city - previous guests seem to have had no problems with it! Also as a smoker being unable to smoke on the balcony wasn’t ideal, but it’s not too much of a trip downstairs to smoke. We would stay here again when we return to the city.

Very beautiful, unique home. The pool was very relaxing. And just walking around the home and seeing all of the unique rooms was fun. There is a pasta restaurant connected to the building and a really cafe just one street away. Even more like tacos, bars, and coffee shops if you are willing to walk further. My sister did say there was some honking at night, but I slept through it.

Yorleny’s  place is an amazing experience and value. The apartment building is close to many nice restaurants and entertainment. The airport is also 15-25 minutes away depending on traffic. There are food delivery services with so many options if you’re feeling lazy. The building is extremely safe and secure with security staff always on site. There is also included parking in a connected parking garage with elevator access to your room floor. Host was great with communication and flexibility. The building is such a treat to explore with unique and modern art and views from all the common areas. It is great for digital nomads. The apartment itself has everything one can need. There is  AC in both bedrooms and kitchen and are powerful. The views from each bedroom and the living room balcony are amazing! The bedrooms and living room have blackout curtains if trying to sleep in. All the essentials were there. The apartment is also beautifully decorated. We can’t wait to stay again!

This trendy apartment was perfect for our stay in the city. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby and the view from the 29th floor is awesome. We are technologically executive from Silicon Valley and enjoyed our stay.   It’s a luxury building with lots of service staff. 24x7 security, 24x7 reception desk,friendly staff,perfect apartment for up to 6 people.  5 STARS in every category for review.  Complete kitchen, TV in every room. Building has pool, many game and activity rooms and lounges with 30 feet ceilings, modern decor but gravitas of old British Oxford university type of ambiance. Conference room, and at least three large very well furnished room for work.  A couple of rooms you can use for entertaining guests-with complete kitchen and a great grill.  I am sure I am missing some great features.  My advice to the reader is to simply book it right away-before someone does it.  You would be very glad you did.  Host went out of her way to introduce us to a wonderful family-it was very meaningful for us.  We feel indebted to her.

This place is beautiful ! I was traveling through San Jose for two weeks with my two sisters and the size was perfect for the three of us. Yorleny is so sweet! an amazing host and was very responsive, and she’s designed the apartment beautifully. The bedrooms and very spacious with incredible floor to ceiling views of the city. Bathroom and kitchen were super clean and well stocked and AC works amazing. The apartment has the best and most beautiful remote work area, with really fast wifi and 180 rooftop views of the city. URBN is gorgeous and in the best area. A block away in each direction to the best bars, restaurants and nightlife. Apotocario, and Panadeli were our favorite restaurants! Libertario and Cafeoteca are awesome for sampling a range of Costa Rican coffees! For day trips we loved our afternoon in Orosi visiting Queverí Farms for the most gorgeous horseback ride through and mountain top cattle ranch. Definitely would stay at this Airbnb again! It’s so convenient & beautifu!

The apartment is well furnished, and the complex offers really nice communal spaces, a pool, fantastic views, etc. Yorleny was very quick to respond and totally helpful. The car is in a parking garage. Only shortcomings: It was very very noisy, sirens and car alarms and cousins all night long. And: The children's playground (on the 8th (?) Floor) is not safe! Our daughter has slipped off the climbing frame, and downstairs there are no mats, no soft underground, but hard concrete with some plastic grass. She bled very much out of her mouth, and we spent 2 days in the hospital with her. It has a gum detachment and the teeth are loose. That nothing is broken is a real miracle! This is really dangerous and absolutely not suitable for children. Yorleny can't do anything about it, but it has completely spoiled us for the last 2 vacation days.

Das Auto ist in einer Parkgarage. Einzige Mängel: Es war sehr sehr laut, die ganze Nacht lang Sirenen und Autoalarme und Gehupe. Und: Der Kinderspielplatz (auf dem 8. (?) Stock) ist nicht sicher! Unsere Tochter ist vom Klettergerüst abgerutscht, und unten gibt es keine Matten, keinen weichen Untergrund, sondern harten Beton mit etwas Plastikrasen. Sie hat sehr stark aus dem Mund geblutet, und wir haben 2 Tage im Krankenhaus verbracht mit ihr. Sie hat eine Zahnfleischablösung und die Zähne sind locker. Dass nichts gebrochen ist, ist ein wahres Wunder! Das ist wirklich gefährlich und absolut nicht geeignet für Kinder. Dafür kann Yorleny nichts, aber es hat uns die letzten 2 Urlaubstage komplett verdorben.

The apartment featured fantastic amenities and was conveniently surrounded by excellent restaurants, creating a delightful dining experience. However, noise was a concern, especially in the evenings when the neighbors' toilet flushing caused rattling pipes that were audible from the bedroom. Despite this issue, using earplugs helped mitigate the disturbance, allowing for an overall enjoyable stay thanks to the convenient location and amenities provided.

This rental is in a very cool apartment building with an incredible view and awesome rooftop workspace. The location had good shopping and restaurants all around. The train is extremely loud and starts at 5am, as a note to my fellow travelers, also you can only rent the cinema if you stay 6+ nights. Overall I recommend!
