Hacienda Mil Bellezas (Million Beauties Hacienda)

Antes de venir leímos los comentarios de otros huéspedes y ahora podemos afirmar con todas las letras que coincidimos con ellos: ¡Hacienda Mil Bellezas es un paraíso! Disfrutamos muchísimo de los senderos y las pozas/piscinas del río (fue un sueño nadar ahí), del silencio, de la piscina (la temperatura del agua estaba espectacular y nuestro hijo de 4 años estaba encantado), la tranquilidad.... Markus y quienes nos recibieron fueron muy amables, siempre estuvieron pendientes de nosotros y nos dieron buenas recomendaciones cuando las pedimos. La casa es muy cómoda y está muy bien equipada (la cocina nos encantó en ese sentido). Las camas son cómodas y dormimos muy bien. ¡Recomendamos la experiencia!

Markus and the staff were amazing! We arrived with our dog and we were all very well welcomed into the house and property. This is an awesome place, you have lots to do outside to keep yourself entertained! All of the dogs are very friendly we fell in love with Elly, we’re hoping to come back soon!

I would name this A HIDDEN GEM Markus was very quick to answer any questions we had and very sweet and knowledgeable about the plants and surrounding area. The casita had everything we could need, well equipped kitchen and very clean The pool was so clean and fresh in a beautiful surroundings and the side jacuzzi jets were a nice after a hike or horseback ride. I loved seeing the horses outside our casita. We went riding with Markus and the horses to gorgeous natural pools and went swimming. The horses are gentle and well trained. I recommend taking a horseback ride! We also walked to the waterfalls with two amazing natural swimming pools. The path was clearly marked and the upper pool is so cool. Don’t miss the hike. There were 3 dogs which were all so sweet. Our little dog got along with them very well. We saw toucans by the pool each evening. It was nice to have the option of having breakfast or dinner there and we had a couple of tasty dinners. We hope to stay again! Thanks!

This experience was just the best. My husband, two sons (5 and 7), and I were all equally enchanted by it all, for different reasons. The pool and horseback riding were amazing for the kids. The scenery was just so breathtaking for me. The hikes and exploration of the property delighted my husband. Everything about this property is thoughtful and intentional, and Markus is a wonderful host; always responsive, very friendly and helpful, patient with our children, offering good advice on the area. This place is a true gem and we’re very thankful for our week there.

Perfection. Secluded with an easy 30 minute drive into town. Markus is a great host, he really wants you to enjoy everything this beautiful place has to offer. Strongly recommend his horseback riding tour, absolutely a dream. This is a local vibes place not a resort super touristy feel and I mean that in the best way! His property is absolutely a dream and my only regret is not staying longer. Also, I traveled alone and felt completely at home and safe which was a huge plus to me. Don’t forget to ask about zip lining! Markus is also respectful of your privacy and lets you be, but is quick to respond if you ever have any questions.

Wonderful place. Even better than described. There are lovely trails around primary forest where you can easily spot jungle wildlife and swim in waterfall pools. The swimming pool and communal area is perfect and we also had a superb meal prepared by a local chef (additional charge but great value). Markus is very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings. Less than an hour from manuel antonio park but cooler temperatures due to the extra elevation. Highly recommended!
