Si vous voulez vous reposez au calme au bout du monde c'est l'endroit idéal. Et l'hôte est charmante.

The cabin is in a small and laidback resort. There is a yoga shala, and the staff can help with booking tours and more. The location is very remote (twenty minute walk on the beach), so it's adviced to pack light. It's also a beautiful place, with a big private beach but also in the jungle. We observed all kinds of animals, including macaws and monkeys. There are no nearby restaurants, but there are meals in the resort at extra cost. All in all a great place, and we would have loved to stay longer if we could.

My stay at Ocean Forest was easily the highlight of my two weeks spent in Costa Rica. The photos look so amazing that I was skeptical it would be that good in person, but it’s even better. The view from my bungalow was breathtaking. Every person I interacted with during my stay, from guests to the staff, were great. If I ever decide to return to Costa Rica, I think I could spend the entire trip at Ocean Forest. Thank you so much for an outstanding few days!!

Quand on veut venir au Corcovado, ça se prépare... Ce lodge est parfait pour s'y préparer : à 10 min à pied de la plage de San Josecito, l'endroit est plus éloigné et plus calme que le village de Drake Bay, au plus proche de la nature. Elizabeth nous a aidés en amont à organiser l'arrivée et les activités au Corcovado et à Isla del Caño. Le beach bungalow est exceptionnel : parfaitement placé face à la mer et derrière une rangée de bambous et de cocotiers pour l'intimité, avec un balcon et hamac pour profiter de la vue. Les infrastructures communes du lodge sont très accueillantes, le jardin plein d'oiseaux et de singes, et le petit nombre de résidents incite plus facilement à l'échange. On se sent comme des privilégiés presque au bout du monde (le bout du monde, c'est d'aller à Sirena depuis San Josecito). C'était le final de notre voyage au Costa Rica, et c'était génial. C'est une étape incontournable pour qui veut plonger au coeur de la nature préservée du Costa Rica !

This place is amazing. The people here are so kind and you really feel at home. You are dropped of at the most amazing beach and after a 10 minute walk you get to a beautiful secluded location. We saw monkeys and macaws after just one hour of being there. The owner, Jonathan, is very nice and knows a lot about the environment and animals. Which he will happily share. The cabin itself is also amazing. You fall asleep with the sounds of the ocean. And when you wake up, there is a home cooked breakfast waiting for you. (All their meals are home cooked and delicious). 10/10 recommend
