River Cabin

Our family of four had an amazing stay at River Cabin. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with fresh fruit, cold drinks, and lights on, we felt right at home. The craftsmanship of the cabin and the peaceful grounds were beautiful, and our toddlers loved seeing the cows throughout the day. We felt completely safe and comfortable. Great location. Beautiful Airbnb! The location is perfect if you love being close to the city without actually being in the city. The sound of the rain on the roof was incredibly relaxing, and the space was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Don’t hesitate — book it!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. From booking to check-in, cleanliness, and the thoughtful personal touches (fresh fruits, drinks, water), every detail was perfect. The place was fully stocked with toiletries, cooking essentials, and all necessary kitchenware. We loved the swing facing the private river, the hot tub, outdoor seating, and the beautifully maintained space. The farm animals were a delightful bonus. It felt very private yet was only minutes from La Fortuna’s center, with covered parking and easy access to all attractions. Our family, especially the kids, enjoyed the private river. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and have already recommended this stay to friends. Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it’s your own river oasis! Book it!! It is a beautiful little cabin. I highly recommend staying there if you are staying in the La Fortuna area. The host was very friendly.

Our stay was fantastic. The place was absolutely immaculate and had a calm, stunning atmosphere that felt even better than the photos. It was close to town, easy to find, and made exploring the area simple. Sylvia was the perfect host, responsive, kind, and genuinely accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother stay. We have traveled many places and this is by far one of the very best! Seclusion, privacy and your very own little “slice of heaven”! Driving in at night and seeing the string lights was magical! It is a hidden gem and is exactly the romantic getaway we needed. The craftsmanship of the home, lush gardens and all the little extras (including the sound of rushing water in the nearby river) that gave a personal touch. Probably the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. highly recommend. I went there with my 7 and 8 year old, but I would have gone there for my honeymoon. the river, the look and feel, everything. felt remote, but only ~5 min drive from La fortuna. I hope to be back.

5 minute straight shot to town. Beautiful long driveway. Beautiful romantic setting. Just gorgeous! Worth every penny Look no further youll love it !!!!
