The Space

This private residence comfortably accommodates four guests (two per bedroom) with an option for one additional guest on a floor mattress located in the loft of the second bedroom. The villa includes:

The property is surrounded by mature tropical landscaping, including fruit trees such as papaya, guava, and mangosteen. The elevation provides refreshing ocean breezes and comfortable temperatures.

Wildlife is abundant in the nearby jungle, with frequent sightings and sounds of colorful toucans, white-faced capuchin monkeys, and howler monkeys.

The deck and plunge pool serve as the focal points of the villa. Glass accordion doors open wide to create a true indoor/outdoor living experience. Outdoor amenities include:

Guest Access and Security

Access to the property is via a private drive off a paved road, secured by an electronic gate. Parking is available on-site. Entry to the villa is possible through the front door or the pool gate. The west side is bordered by a concrete wall, while a low tropical hedge surrounds the south and southwest sides, allowing unobstructed views of the Pacific coast.

Security features include eight exterior surveillance cameras.

Additional Information

• A 4x4 vehicle is required for access.
• Check-in is from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A $40 fee applies for arrivals after 8:00 pm.
• Check-out time is 10:00 am.
• Children are welcome; however, please note there are two interior wall ladders (office nook and bedroom loft) with modest railings, a deep pool, and steeply sloped landscaped areas.
• Nearby construction may occur on an adjacent property, which is outside the host’s control. Noise and foot traffic may be present, including during morning hours. Construction is common in the Escaleras, Dominical, and Uvita regions.
• Airbnb’s strict cancellation policy applies. Guests are encouraged to consider travel and medical insurance covering airline changes, trip interruptions, cancellations, personal belongings, liability, and medical emergencies. The host is not responsible for such events.
