- A direct walkway to the beach and warm lagoon waters

The spacious upper terrace is an inviting place to relax and take in the exceptional view. A short walk along a plant-lined path leads to a beautiful swimming area. Guests can paddle the kayaks to explore hidden beaches and coves, float in the warm, clear water, or unwind on the dock.

Guests have access to the entire house, except for one rear closet that is locked and reserved for personal belongings.

Location was great. Leguna de Apoyo is beautiful. The huge terrace on the back of the home overlooks the leguna and has lots of chairs, huge dining table, and a hammock. we spent lots of time out there. Kayaks were also provided, really enjoyed those. Host also provided several gallons of water, which was appreciated. Now for the constructive criticism: 1) The home could use a good deep clean. 2) Also, needs to be fumigated for bugs. But I’m not really sure how much good that would do due the design of the home. There are lots of built in vents in the home (typical in Nica) which is fine if you have screens but there are none in this home. So there is nothing preventing spiders, ants, geckos etc from coming in. And I know you are going to have a few ants/bugs in almost any house in Nica. But this was quite a bit more than usual. Only 2 of the 4 bedrooms have AC. Which IS mentioned in the listing, I just didn’t see it. All in all, it was a great time spent with fam

It was a beautiful setting. The bed was comfortable. The lake was gorgeous for swimming and the views amazing. Communication with Amy was amazing and when an issue came up she was proactive and gracious. I would highly recommend staying here if you live the jungle.

Bello lugar para descansar…la cocina tiene todo lo que se necesita…puedes cocinar…así que no es necesario salir de la casa. La atención y respuesta del anfitrión fue excelente.

A beautiful place right on the lagoon, with a stunning terrace you can spend all day relaxing on. The kitchen is great for meals, and the bedrooms are comfortable. What a great place!

Amy’s place was wonderful! It’s the perfect spot for a quick getaway to enjoy the lake. The views are amazing and it’s a short walk to get to the water. My family and I loved our stay at Amy’s and would certainly visit again.

The house was as beautiful as advertised, with a glorious view. The garden was lovely. We enjoyed looking out over the lagoon and wandering down to use the kayaks. The size was ample for the eight of us, with room to spare. Amy was gracious and available for any questions. Had a wonderful time.
