Casa Cresta Pelada is an elegant villa located in South Playa Pelada, offering serene jungle views. Built in 2020 and recently updated in October 2024, this spacious residence enjoys a prime location with convenient access to both Pelada and Guiones beaches.

The Space

This modern home features a private pool and a fully fenced yard adjacent to open jungle space, just a short stroll from the beaches.

• Large sliding doors open the entire back of the house to the pool deck, ideal for entertaining and family gatherings.
• Two master suites are located on the top floor, each furnished with four-poster king beds, private bathrooms with showers, and separate large soaking tubs.
• The master suites also include spacious balconies overlooking the jungle canopy, perfect for observing wildlife such as howler monkeys and stargazing.
• The main floor offers an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table seating 8 to 11 guests, plus island seating for 4.
• The lower level contains a four-bed bunk room with a private full bathroom.
• A lockable apartment on the bottom floor includes a queen bed, a second full kitchen, and both indoor and outdoor showers.
• An office/single bedroom is also situated on the lower level.
• Additional amenities include a washer/dryer and a covered carport with a lockable gate and fenced security for two cars.
• Dining hours are covered by a security guard service.
• High-speed fiber optic WiFi is available throughout the villa, including the pool deck, via Google mesh.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive access to the entire home.

Additional Information

Costa Rica aims to be carbon neutral, which results in high electricity costs. Each bedroom is equipped with an independent air conditioning unit, and guests are kindly asked to turn off the AC when leaving the rooms to conserve energy and reduce expenses. There is no air conditioning in the main living and kitchen area due to its size and the environmental impact of cooling such a large space. Instead, this area features numerous windows, sliding doors, and fans to encourage natural ventilation. Enjoying the jungle breeze and taking occasional dips in the pool is recommended.

Petty theft can occur in tourist areas, so guests are encouraged to follow simple safety measures explained by Kattia at check-in. The property is secured with a green wall fence, outdoor security cameras, security lighting, and an alarm system, with instructions provided upon arrival. Guests should always secure valuables such as iPads, computers, cash, passports, and phones in the safe before leaving the villa and ensure all gates are closed and locked.

A security guard is provided during dining hours for added peace of mind.
