Staff was very friendly and attentive from the start of our trip, to loading our luggage on the way out. Peter’s team made sure our group was satisfied while providing us plenty of space to enjoy a comfortable and private stay.

Stunning private resort flanked by two perfect beaches on either side. Will return!

This place is just awesome in every way, spacious, the views, walking distance to the beach, the People who help you there, Juan and the other ladies go beyond to make your stay more than pleasant. The communication with Peter, the host was very responsive.

We thoroughly enjoyed the facility. The groundskeeper Juan & his crew are humble people & always eager to help. We’re grateful to have been guest.

Love this home the views amazing the location unbelievable and the amenities amazing. Enjoyed the massage service on property and also the helpful friendly staff. Had some unexpected guest show up  Peter was great in accommodating us great host and speechless property.

It was an unforgettable stay, my family and I were able to enjoy ourselves and to relaxed at the same time.  Place was big enough to keep our privacy.

Our recent trip to Villa Punta Mango was nothing short of spectacular! As a group of six surfers, we rented three houses together, and the location was unbelievable! Just steps away from the beach, we had easy access to some of the best surf spots, and the waves were epic every single day. The boys were more experienced and they were able to surf the point break (5min walk) and us girls were easily able to surf the beach break in front of the house. Peter, Juan and his team made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Their hospitality was top-notch, always ready to assist with anything we needed. They provided us with valuable local surf tips and contact info for airport transport and board rentals. They ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, our stay at the villas was a fantastic blend of surf, sun, and relaxation. We’re already planning our next trip back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway. Ask about their cooking and massage services!

The home/villa was perfect for my family. We definitely used the kitchen ! Be mindful that there are insects found inside the homes due to humidity and environment, not the hosts fault. Other than that it was beautiful and very relaxing. Juan was there to help with our stay and did offer four wheeler Rentals $30/hr. The view was amazing and the beach was NEVER crowded. Amazing. Beautiful. Peaceful. My family loved it.

This place is magical.  Absolutely beautiful.  180' views from any position on the property.  It was perfect for a family retreat.  Everyone had their own air conditioned space.  We were not crowded with one another at the least.  For those who may remember, it felt like we were on Gilligans Island.  My wife and I brought 10 of her Salvadoran family to this paradise for what we thought would be 2 days/nights.  As it turned out, nobody wanted to leave, including 87 year old grandma.  So Peter obliged to let us rent for a 3rd night.

All I can say is that we really loved this place. Juan and the stuff was really nice and helpful. They helped out when ever we need them. 1st day we got there they help us order food and get r stuff to r rooms. U need anything they help out. My grandson had the time of his life. It was r 1st time going to El Salvador, I will definitely visit again and hope we don't get any rain. Lol

Had an amazing stay. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. Peter was very responsive with my questions, updating my trip info, and general information. He even helped us with arranging for a chef (Mayra). Juan and Mayra helped us significantly once we arrived. Food recommendations, cooking, activities and information of the area. They made sure we were well and made sure we had what we needed. They were very kind. Mayra is a great chef! Great views and easy access to the beach. The pool is clean and calm. The hammocks and outdoor seating were clean and comfortable. I really don’t have a single complaint. We intend to come back for our next stay in El Salvador!

Peter’s place is a piece of heaven on earth. The only thing that was inconvenient was getting to the villa. There is construction work so be patient and drive carefully. Apparently Peter’s villa punta mango signed got taken down due to the construction which made it hard for me to find. I tried calling for further instructions but no luck getting my phone calls answered. We stopped at a hotel for instructions and were then able to find the villa. Don’t get food from the restaurant. It’s over priced and the food lacks taste. The best thing to do is bring your own food and cook it or give Peter a heads up and have his staff make your food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back with my family.

it was a great location to stay at.  my family had a great time, kids enjoyed every bit of the resort.

This was our favorite stay on our trip. Absolutely gorgeous views and great place. The beach you have access to is by far my favorite beach. This is a perfect place for a large group. Just make sure you like stairs if booking this location 😅 The whole place was clean and the caretakers pleasant to deal with. The kitchen was so well stocked. You can easily bring food and cook all your meals while enjoying the view because there isn't a lot around in terms of food. The restaurant they work with is decent and had a full menu but the price was a little high because it's really the only option. I'd absolutely stay again.

This property and facilities were beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The perfect place to relax and take in the view. Additionally, Juan who is the caretaker went above and beyond what was expected of him. Made us feel like family. He was very sweet, honest and helpful! Peter's House is beautiful and has a unique location. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. There's plenty of space to feel comfortable even with a large group. The location is fantastic.

Stunning resort all to yourself, set just above the nicest beach I'v seen in El Salvador. The kitchen almost feels like a commercial kitchen, with a massive dining table for everyone, overlooking the ocean. The four bedroom buildings (with 5th optional) lets your entire group spread out. The pool, washroom building, outdoor showers, drinking water towers, and assorted mini-fridges really feel like you have an entire resort to yourself. Juan, the on-site manager, knows everything. Will return.

Beautiful surrounding however cleanliness and instructions is opportunity. Expected a little more for the price given to us.

The villa was perfect for our stay! We enjoyed the pool and the large patios with hammocks. The views were wonderful! The rooms were comfortable. The property is clean and well maintained. The onsite caretakers were very welcoming and were readily available to answer questions. We will definitely look to stay here in the future.

Our adult family of 8 had a great week at Punta Mango. Peter’s place is perfect if you enjoy the surf, resting in the hammocks in the shade, sharing meals together and cooling off in the pool. Juan, the on-site caretaker can get you anything that you need and does it with a smile. The view of the point is perfect. The place and vibe is epic.

This place is so amazing! Beautiful views, very clean, spacious, and safe. Wow!!!   The ultimate Salvadorian experience.  Villa Punta Mango is like having a complete resort to yourself.   This place is designed for many people too enjoy.   Sleeps 10 no problem.  Great, huge  kitchen , gas stove and oven. Two full size refrigerators plus a huge separate freezer.  Dinning table for 20.  Each cabin also has its own small refrigerator and great A/C.  Our boys surfed right in front of our cabin with an all glass view of the waves.  The cabin is so close to the waves I could film them with my phone from our bedroom view.  We all enjoyed  walking the deserted beach , coming back to swim in the pool and hanging out up top in the spacious outdoor lounge.  If you are visiting during the raining season be prepared for tropical evening storm/lighting show (no fireworks needed).  Typical winter storm last for an hour and in the morning  all clear.  We cannot say enough about our host Don Juan and his wife, he even brought us fried chicken from San Miguel.  Thanks Ed

Punta Mango is now my favorite beach in El Salvador. Peter's place was just perfect for my big family. We enjoyed the sunset and the "private beach". We were the only ones there. it was an awesome experience. We definitely recommend this place if you are visiting El Salvador.

The residence is spacious and large families can stay comfortably, as it has several areas to rest and enjoy the place. The beach is spectacular and very private. We were delighted with our stay and looking forward to returning another time.

Peter has an amazing property that hosted our family of 16 perfectly! I can’t fit everything in this review but the property made us feel like we were at a resort, not a rental property. Every detail could not have been more perfect! Especially the room that’s right on the shore with a full 180 degree view of the ocean, beautiful sunrise and sunsets there. The property gets a 12/10 rating from us! The other gem of our trip in punta mango was Juan, the caretaker. He was amazing and super helpful with everything from recommendations around the area to cutting up fresh coconuts to start our day with! This world needs more people like Juan and Peter! We literally couldn’t thank him enough for his recommendations and connections (he got us a bus to take all 16 of us to excursions, had a masseuse come to the house and massage literally 8 of us same day, even called someone to bring horses for horseback riding). Ultimately the entire trip was amazing, obviously because of the beautiful property, but we can say the trip would not have been nearly as perfect if it weren’t for Juan. We will definitely be returning here next year, mostly because of Juan.  Property: 12/10, Juan: 15/10. We can’t wait to see Juan and the punta mango villa next year and hopefully years after! Do yourself a favor and BOOK this place if it’s available for you. We can’t wait to see you next year Juan!! -Nancy

very happy with the location. unbeatable view from the room right on the edge of the clif. lots of convient details throught out. morden aminities. acurate pictures. host is quick to respond and flexiable. house keeper Huan and his wife are helpful. they keep the place well kept and clean.

The only word for this property and the caretaker Juan are "EPIC". The Villa is absolutely gorgeous, it's location next to the beach is perfect, Juan and his team do a great job cleaning and helping with things. It was an amazing time, my friends and I would definitely stay there again if possible.

This is one of the nicest airbnbs we have stayed in! Everything is well taken care of, the kitchen is big and fully stocked with cooking utensils, the ac's work great, and the view is incredible. We have nothing but good things to say about Peter's place. His staff at Punta Mango are helpful and friendly. The beach is a 1 min walk down some stairs. Our kids spent hours playing in the sand and waves. Unlike other beaches in El Salvador, Playa los mangos is large and flat with no few rocks in-between the points. I recommend Peter's place without any reservations - you will not be disappointed if you book here!

Villa Punta Mango is simply an awesome place to spend your time in the marvelous Beach of, La Periquera I’m the East Coast of El Salvador. The place has everything to enjoy the stay with friends and/or family. Fully equipped ! You only need to bring your food, drinks (not water, the place has bottled water) and swimsuit.

Our stay at this property was speechless. My family, and I had a amazing time. We enjoy all the property. We like the peace, and serenity that the property brings. And  Don Juan is  the  best  for taking care of us thank you again planing to go back next year

This place is AMAZING. I’m so glad we finally had the opportunity to stay here and hope to come back. The location is hard to beat, it’s very private and not super developed. The road isn’t actually that bad for access, small sedans we’re traveling just fine and it seemed that certain parts were newly paved. The rooms were, airy, spacious and clean. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for us all. The kitchen was nicely remodeled and large for our family to prepare meals and had everything we needed. The views were gorgeous and the caretakers (Juan) were very nice and great people to be around with!

It's a PARADISE!!! What a nice experience we had at Peter's house! The most beautiful beaches in the country! Spectacular sunsets and sunrises, the panoramas and resting places of the property in perfect condition! I recommend it 💯 for anything you want to enjoy an experience of rest and peace enjoying the beach and nature comfortably! Also many places to take pictures and videos as a souvenir of your trip! I will definitely be back! 😎

The place is beautiful, very comfortable, the rooms are super nice and clean, the ocean view is incredible, Juan is attentive to everything one needs, super friendly, just because of the location of the house. It is a bit difficult to move around the property for an older person. But overall everything is very nice, My Family and I had a great time. I don't have any complaints. I recommend it 100% and I would definitely come back.

El lugar es hermoso muy cómodo las habitaciones super bonitas y limpias, la vista al mar es increíble, Juan esta atento a todo lo q uno necesita, super amable, solo q por la ubicación de la casa, Es un poco complicado moverse en la propiedad para una persona mayor. I want to make this comment in Spanish because I know that there are many distant brothers who would like to visit a pleasant, beautiful and especially safe place; Peter's house meets all the conditions mentioned above; it is simply a paradise hidden in one of the most beautiful places of El Salvador. From before you arrive you will see a landscape that leaves breathless of how beautiful it is, pure nature that makes your heart feel like eager to enjoy those clean beaches surrounded by lush nature. When you arrive at the house, you are greeted by the friendly people who take care of this jewel and feel welcome in a warm homey atmosphere that characterizes the Salvadoran. Then they invite you to do the tour and you see those comfortable, clean rooms that are waiting for you moments of unparalleled comfort, each seemed more beautiful to me than the previous one with clean bathrooms, air conditioning and cozy to the end I especially liked the last room that is on a cliff above the sea that has an ocean view where the waves collide and at night you are spoiled by the sea, the breeze caressing you around in a unique feeling in common with the stars that lush you making a magical feeling. In the morning you are breathless seeing the immensity of the sea and the sun that invites you to explore those beautiful beaches where you can enjoy at any time since in the vicinity of the house you should not worry about safety since it is located in an extremely safe area where no one will bother you. The house has a very practical gas grill, large cousin, spacious with refrigerator, stove, freezer, microwave oven and all the utensils to prepare your food as well as dishes. There are spacious dining areas and many hammocks to sleep naps in different areas, the pool is beautiful, clean and illuminated at night there is no place that is not comfortable, it has ample indoor parking and everything is kept impeccably clean by the staff. Apart from the pool, the beach and everything mentioned above you can do other activities such as taking a boat ride, making use of the squares for an extra charge or surfing, fishing, doing yoga, or just taking walks at the beach the time you like. My experience was wonderful. I had moments in that place that I am sure I will treasure forever. Highly recommended. This place is simply magical. You will not regret enjoying this beautiful place.

Quiero hacer este comentario en español porque sé que hay muchos hermanos lejanos que quisieran visitar un lugar agradable, bonito y especialmente seguro; la casa de Peter reúne todas las condiciones antes mencionadas; es sencillamente un paraíso escondido en uno de los parajes más bellos de El Salvador. Desde antes de llegar verán un paisaje que deja sin aliento de lo hermoso que es, naturaleza pura que hace que tu corazón palpite de ganas por gozar esas playas limpias rodeadas de exuberante naturaleza. Cuando llegas a la casa te reciben las amables personas que cuidan de esta joya y te sientes bienvenido en un ambiente cálido de hogar cosa que caracteriza al salvadoreño. Luego te invitan a hacer el recorrido y ves esas habitaciones cómodas, espaciosas limpias, donde te esperan momentos de inigualable confort, cada una me parecía más bella que la anterior con baños limpios, aire acondicionado y acogedoras al extremo especialmente me agradó la última habitación que está sobre un risco sobre el mar que tiene una vista al océano donde chocan las olas y por la noche te arrulla el mar, la brisa te acaricia envolviendote en una sensación única en comunión con las estrellas que te alumbran haciendo una sensación mágica. Por la mañana te quedas sin aliento viendo la inmensidad del mar y el sol que te invita a explorar esas playas hermosas en las cuales puedes disfrutar a cualquier hora ya que en las cercanías de la casa no te debes preocupar por la seguridad ya que está localizada en una zona extremadamente segura donde nadie te molestará. La casa dispone de una parrilla a gas muy práctica, cosina grande, espaciosa con refrigeradora, estufa, congelador, horno microondas y todos los utensilios para preparar tus alimentos así como vajilla. Se dispone de amplias áreas de comedor y muchas hamacas para dormir las siestas en distintas áreas, la piscina es bonita, limpia e iluminada por la noche no hay lugar que no sea cómodo, posee amplio parqueo interior y todo es mantenido impecablemente limpio por el personal. Aparte de la piscina, la playa y todo lo antes mencionado puedes hacer otras actividades como, dar un paseo en lancha, hacer uso de las cuadrimotos por un cargo extra ó surfear, pescar, hacer yoga, o simplemente dar paseos en la playa a la hora que gustes. Mi experiencia fue maravillosa viví momentos en ese lugar que estoy seguro atesoraré por siempre, muy recomendado este lugar es simplemente mágico no se arrepentirán de disfrutar de este bello lugar.

If you love nature this is the place for you, don't forget your repellent. We went in June and we encountered various insects which is completely normal for its location. The views from this villa are breathtaking, the ocean waves set a tone for a relaxing fun-filled time. The care keepers Juan and Mayra were accommodating and friendly. Plus, Mayra is willing to help you in the kitchen. They made us feel at home and offered great things to do while on the beach (ATV and small boat rental). We had a blast inside the pool, it was nice and clean. Also, there are several hammocks for one to enjoy. We felt safe the entire time. I wish all of the rooms had a/c because it is really hot in June. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We hope someday we will have the chance to rent this property again. Thank you!

Peter’s beach house was amazing. My family and I wished  we could have stayed longer.

This place is Paradise as Salvadorian I love travel a lot inside my country every weekened,  but definitly this locations is one of my favorites so far, the property is super big  the rooms each are different style "hermosos", the view from the pool is out stading  everything about the place is worth it the long way  also is very charming way to get there, totally we will be back soon as we can.

This house is an amazing place. Great spot to disconnect from city life. You get fantastic views all around and many places to be during the day, no matter where you are you get to see the ocean. The beach is very isolated and completely safe. Juan, the house caretaker is a great guy and can basically get you everything you want like oysters, fresh fish, shrimp and boat rides. Highly recommended place. I will surely be back someday.

This is my third visit to this property with different groups. It is a surfing paradise and people travel up in boats to have the opportunity of some surfing on the point. However, at Punta Mango you can just take your surfboard and go from the beach. Someone in our group went for a day to the waves in Golfo de Fonseco but I noticed he was back next day to his beloved point here!! This week we have hired the quads and taken two boat rides from the property so we have had alot of fun. We went up to the Surfing Resort and had lunch but when we returned another day we just went to the beach restaurant on the same beach and had fresh oysters and beautiful fish which was much nicer really and felt more like we were supporting the local economy. At Punta Mango it is almost obligatory  to watch the sun rise over one headland and set over the other. These are magical moments. The pool has a wonderful view and I like how it is a "hang-out" pool with a table, umbrella and bar stools if you just feel like chatting and  chilling out.  The rooms all have different qualities in terms of views, whether AC is a must. They are all very serviceable and the number means you can either come with a large or a small group. This time round I slept on the bedroom/house on the promontary which meant that I had the waves around me on 3 sides, a balcony to sit on and even a jacuzzi bath which is built out from the balcony so the sea is all around. For me this is the best room, but others of my party have other preferences for other reasons - camper van with AC was a favourite with some, the view from  from others drew many towards those rooms. The kitchen is well supplied for group cooking and large and convenient with a hatch for serving. There is a BBQ and wood pizza stove if you fancy doing something different. The dining area is the morning sunrise spot and also has a spectacular view. All in all it is a magical and wonderful spot and I can only recommend you visit and soon.....

This is a nice place with amazing views and a great atmosphere! The last part of the drive is a bit difficult and we had both sedan and a suv and it was easier to drive with a suv. The place is clean and has everything you need for a great time. Of course, get all the food and other things you’ll need in advance. Things such as surfing boards are for extra price.

In this place you will find one of the most beautiful, clean and quiet beaches in all of El Salvador. It's a little secluded area but totally safe to go with family or on a leisure trip. Michael's facilities are in the best possible location, they are a bit rustic but has space for many people and Juan, the person who serves the place, is very friendly, helpful and can help in everything you need: from cooking to organizing fishing trips. A totally recommended place.

En este lugar encontrara una de las playas mas bellas, limpia y tranquila de todo El Salvador. Es una zona un poco aislada pero totalmente segura para ir con familia o en viaje de placer. Las instalaciones de Michael están en la mejor ubicación posible, son un poco rústicas pero tiene espacio para muchas personas y Juan, la persona que atiende el local, es muy amable, servicial y puede ayudar en todo lo que se necesite: desde cocinar hasta organizar viajes de pesca. Un sitio totalmente recomendado.

This place was absolutely phenomenal. The care keepers Juan and his wife were outstanding. Fantastic customer service and the place is super clean. Also the amenities are amazing, the pools is nice and well kept, several hamacas to rest and enjoy the most beautiful sunset. The beach access is next to the kitchen and bedrooms wow. I would also like to mention that it is very safe. I’m already thinking about renting this property again and bring my family at the end of the year. This house is incredible and I will absolutely return! The view was out of this world and the waves were so accessible. From the pictures, the stairs look more intimidating than in real life... the beach is very easy to get to, even with a longboard. The house is safe and clean, and the caretaker Juan is super accommodating! The internet connection was also better than expected, considering it is just a hot spot. I came with just a couple of family members and we had such an awesome week. Highly recommend!

A great place and very safe area ,access is a little challenging but not bad, for us it was part of the adventure, Michael places is excellent for big groups has a lot of space for everyone and all offers a beautiful view of the area, they provide all the basic things for the guest to enjoy the stay so if you have a special needs contact the host for advise. The caretaker is very knowledgeable about the area and always willing to assist the guest with anything they may need, and yes bring all you plan to drink and eat as well as any meds if you take any, an emergency kit is always good to have. Having said all that be prepare to have a great time here. Definitely recommend Villa punta mango.
