Leuke, gezellige plek onder de locals. 3 minuten lopen naar het strand. Alles aanwezig. Maria is een zeer vriendelijke host, ze had zelfs vis voor ons gebakken met een familie recept, het was super lekker! Ze heeft veel uitgelegd over de regio en gebruiken van Costa Rica.

Maria was the caretaker of the property and was very helpful with anything we needed. She was extremely sweet and quick to reply to our texts. Although we don’t speak Spanish, google translate was sufficient to communicate back and forth.

Neighborhood not explained as it was at all. Very run down. Not steps from the beach- it’s 3 blocks over. Surrounding houses dilapidated. Manager went in unexpectedly and shut out AC off without communication. Stated it’s in rules but was not sent to us upon purchase. Apartment way smaller than seems on listing. We left and booked another place. Requested half back to be fair and refused.

Overall a really well located apartment just a 3 minute walk from the beach. Unfortunately the beds are a little uncomfortable, and there is a lot of noise at night from neighborhood dogs barking. overall a great place if you just want to chill at the beach all day.

Maria was excellent. She was there to let us in and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and provided what we needed. Good wi fi. It is a very close walk to the beach and local beach restaurants. Can walk the beach to town on a bit longer trek. This apartment is located within the local neighbourhood. We felt totally safe based on our previous travel experiences. Our only suggestion for the apartment is to have a toaster. 😉 our only issue is the neighbourhood dogs barking when trying to relax on the balcony. They do quiet down eventually in the later evening.

Nice updated clean place close to beach. Parking provided. Outdoor shower was nice after walking back from beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Ac was cold , beds firm. Bring earplugs the howler monkeys were loud. Bathroom was clean and shower was a relief from heat. Friendly host!

C’était très bien et assez loin du centre pour avoir un peu de tranquilité mais c’était faisable à la marche pour rejoindre restaurant et boutique.
