Stunning Casa Mar y Selva

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Mar Y Selva and obviously we loved it enough to return in 3 months. It has an amazing view and wildlife is abundant. First day of our stay we literally didn't sit down much because we were up taking photos. We sat on the patio daily from 6am til sunset enjoying our surroundings, Relaxing and peaceful. Nicole is the TOPS when it comes to communicating and hosting. Always kind and friendly and shares with us local knowledge. Hope to return again soon. Thanks for everything.

The home is very spacious and offers a gorgeous view! The house is well stocked and provides everything we needed. Nicole was a gracious host and is very responsive. Alberto walked us down to the river where we enjoyed the private swimming hole. We enjoyed the Osa Canopy Tour, Fuego Brewery and La Parcela.

Nicole's place was truly amazing! The pictures don't fully capture the incredible beauty and stunning views. Nicole is an exceptional host, always responsive and undoubtedly one of the best we've encountered. Waze and Google Maps worked well; downloading offline maps is a great tip for a smoother journey. Surprisingly, given our tropical living experience, bugs were minimal inside. Just remember to refrigerate any open food! Alberto and Anna, the caretakers, are incredibly awesome and went above and beyond for us. For instance, when our rental car got stuck on an ATV trail during a severe nighttime thunderstorm (despite my off-roading experience, I took a wrong turn!), Alberto immediately came to our rescue, making sure our 8-month-old daughter was safe. We are so grateful for his help! This was our favorite house out of all our Costa Rica trips, and we will definitely be back!

Nicole was a perfect host - immediately responsive and incredibly helpful. The view is gorgeous and the home is comfortable and had everything we needed. Nicole walked us down to the river through primary forest and the original homestead on the property. We loved every minute of our stay. We snorkeled at Canos Island, had a fishing charter out of Quepos, drove up the road to Cafe Don Emilio’s for a super friendly and wonderfully authentic coffee experience and did the Chocolate Tour in Playa Hermosa. Restaurants were terrific.

Nicole was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful home and views are AMAZING. Such an amazing trip we had to enjoy our son’s special wedding day.

We absolutely loved casa Mar Y Selva. We are true nature lovers and very private. We spend day after day on the patio, near the pool gazing into the jungle for wildlife and the beautiful ocean view. Nicole was always kind and responsive with any questions we had. Alberto was kind and friendly and helps maintain the property and house/pool. We woke to the holler monkeys 5am and birds of all different kinds. Toucans, brief visit by macaws, Parrots parrots and more parrots, coatie, and an amazing couple hours with hollers but they didn't make it easy for us to find them. Hoping to have the pleasure of returning to Nicole's true paradise again some day. Thanks for everything Pam & Jason

My family and I have stayed in many Airbnbs in the US and abroad and Nicole’s home was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! We enjoyed the house itself with a wonderful pool and spacious rooms, the incredible setting replete with wildlife and expansive sunsets, easy access to primary forest with a veritable water park, beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Nicole was genuine, kind and very responsive. We hope to return to CR soon and there’s little doubt where we plan (hope) to stay again. Muchas Gracious Nicole!

Outstanding. The hostess. The location. The custodians. The home. The critters (feathered and furry)! We spend months each year in Costa Rica and this rental is in the top three of any we have ever stayed in anywhere. Loved every moment and am so grateful we discovered this amazing space. Highly recommend.
