Heavenly Sands Bahia Langosta #13 near Tamarindo
PuraVida, unit is in Langosta beach south of Tamarindo, Easy access to any excursion and yet just a beach walk into town when solitude appeals for low tide walks . My property manager is available for questions and easily helpful for vacation conversations. This unit sleeps comfortably in a one bedroom California King bed and then the other living space may/can accommodate date friends / family in separate bed and NOT NOT easily for another couple choosing to sleep together. The space The Bahia Langosta is a secure (24x7), gated community associated with the famous Occidental (formerly Barcelo) Hotel. The complex is beach front and right next to an ocean-fed estuary, perfect for kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing, swimming, fishing, and enjoying the sun! This unit is spacious and freshly cleaned with granite counter tops in the kitchen and tile floors throughout the space to keep it cool. It is ground level and has its own patio space, that opens directly to the complex pool and lounge area. Guest access CHECK-IN IS 3PM -11 AM CHECK-OUT We understand that arrivals/departures can be in need of inquiry of change. based on the request we will try to accommodate usually with a minimal fee. We will need your check-in info for our guards and management that keeps our gated community safe. We are separate from Occidental even though we share the same property. FYI: The Occidental welcomes guests to dine at their all inclusive all-you-can-eat and drink resort buffet for $30 USD as I know it to be best value next door EVER! . Langosta Sports bar is a local fun walking Venue/small dinning in. The high-end neighborhood is safe with many owner-occupied properties. You might run into Harrison Ford or Bette Midler on your strolls! Other things to note Adventure tours can be arranged that depart from the Barcelo Hotel, which is directly next door. These trips usually include zip lining, rafting, horse riding, and hot springs. Also " Interbus " is a costa Rica tourist transportation network. You can find them online or go to Tamarindo Shuttles offices. PLEASE NOTE: As of 2020, a new Costa Rica VAT tax (13% of your total stay) will be collected upon arrival by the on-site property manager.

unfortunately pool was under renovations so most of the time not usable and the noise factor was disruptive.

Perfect beachfront stay! The apartment was clean, cozy and easy beach access. Family-friendly and welcoming, it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay!! At no fault of Gail Jean, the pool was under repair and she worked so hard to create other options for us so we could enjoy a pool. 100% recommend!

Gran opción de alojamiento por su cercanía a la playa y piscina, literalmente estas a metros de llegar a una de las mejores playas de Costa Rica (Playa Langosta). El apartamento cuenta con AA, lo cual es ideal para las altas temperaturas de la zona. La cocina es un plus adicional, esta contaba con todos los elementos para preparar desayunos & Cenas. Finalmente, la ubicación del apartamento esta en una zona con muy buenas opciones de Restaurantes, y actividades outdoors. Volvería nuevamente a este apartamento.

Wonderful private community with fellow residents and guests. We were at first surprised that the resort next door has daily musical performances that carry over to this condo complex, but we took it all in stride as did everyone else there by doing the daily macarana performance. As one fellow guest said, "you always know it is 3:00 oclock when the macarana comes on next door".

We had a wonderful one month stay. The unit is great location with beautiful pool. It’s an easy walk to beach and estuary. The unit has a comfortable bed, great A/C and washer/ dryer. We can’t wait to return.

Two issues to understand if you rent. First, the same electronic entry door code is used. Never changed! The Property Manager knows it, the maids know it, all former quest all have it etc,,, I asked for it to be changed and got a lecture from the host and was told a locksmith was needed. Not true but okay. Second, the promised BBQ shown in pictures, listed as an amenity (since removed) and confirmed in a pre check in text from HOST was gone when I arrived. I asked about it and was told it was removed. But it was there when I booked! I was told too bad I can move if I'd like. What made things worse is the electric stove in the small unit has no exhaust ducting to outside of unit, no fan so the heat from cooking bakes the entire condo. If you plan on cooking beware the kitchen is a literal oven. I would have not booked this without outdoor cooking. I left early with Airbnb help. Thank your Airbnb. If you cook plan on running the AC 24/7. The lock thing oh well its CR

Great location! First floor next to the pool. Very close to the beach. You can hear the waves from the unit. Lots of hot water! Clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well. The unit has two- one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen/living room. Has a washer dryer. Kitchen provided all needed pans, utensils, etc. She was very responsive to texts and emails. She checked in with us to ensure that everything was perfect for us. Would stay there again.
