Located in the hills, it is just a 10-minute drive from San Juan del Sur and only 5 minutes from Playa Remanso, which offers a consistent surf break. This cozy home features a private kitchen, bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, WiFi, and a spacious outdoor porch. It is well suited for traveling families, couples, or friends seeking a tranquil environment surrounded by wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and the friendly resident cats, Tigre and Rebel.

Location and Safety
The property is quiet and peaceful, shaded by many large trees that provide cool spots throughout. While downtown San Juan del Sur can be hot and humid, Jungalow benefits from a steady breeze that often makes air conditioning unnecessary. It is situated in a very safe neighborhood, and for added security, bars have been installed on all windows.
Please note that from May to November, a four-wheel-drive vehicle is required due to slippery road conditions after heavy rain. During the dry season, a regular car is sufficient.

Guest Access
Jungalow is set on a two-acre lot within a secluded development. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds and surrounding area to observe local wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and squirrels. This property is especially suited for guests with a spirit of adventure and a love for nature.

Debbie (and Uriel) were great and attentive hosts. Debbie was quick to respond to our last-minute booking as our family decided to extend our stay in beautiful SJDS. The house was comfy, clean, and had all the amenities we were looking for. Short (5 min) drive to Playa Remanso, 10 min to San Juan del Sur, about 20 min to Playa Hermosa - great location! Also, our meals on the balcony were the most relaxing way to start and end our days. Overall, it was a great stay & we highly recommend!

Close proximity to beaches and town. Back porch has peaceful valley hillside view. Very clean inside and A/Cs work great. Fully furnished kitchen.

Pasamos un mes en casa de Debbie y fue genial. Nos encantó el lugar, la ubicación, la energía y los gatitos! Recomiendo mucho este lugar sobretodo para gente que quiere estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Nos llevamos solo buenos recuerdos!

Die Unterkunft ist total zu empfehlen. Sie ist modern, sauber, gemütlich und einer einer super Lage um die Strände mit dem Auto zu erkunden sowie nach San Juan reinzufahren. Das holändische Gastgeberpaar ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Obwohl sie unten im Haus wohnen bekommt man nichts voneinander mit (außerdem separater Eingang etc). Tolles Haus!

Great place to stay right next to remanso beach which is perfect for those who want to surf. Clean comfortable and very peaceful would definitely recommend and use again. Debbie communicated will and check was smooth.

We had such a lovely stay at Debbie's place. We booked last minute and had a very quick answer from the host. She was excellent at communicating all the details and helped us with all our questions and requests. The house was very lean, and the kitchen was well equipped, maybe just missing a larger wooden cutting board and a compost for organic trash. The rooms were very big and the beds super comfortable. I would highly recommend having a 4x4 to get to the place because the dirt road can be challenging to drive (make sure your hand bake and your lights works!). We overall loved our stay and would recommend it!

Debbie’s place was an absolute gem! We got so lucky to find this spot by Remanso beach on our return to San Juan del Sur! The apartment is nestled in the jungle so you have the beautiful sounds from nature and the breathtaking views! The location was honestly perfect, with its proximity to Remanso (which in our opinion was the best beach- perfect spot for smooth waves) and a short drive to the town. If you have a car, you can also go spend the day in Hermosa or explore the other beach spots like Maderas and Majagual (which was gorgeous). The groundskeeper, Uriël, was so helpful and such a delight. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay so much!
