Tres Volcanes Ocean Villa
Tres Volcanes Ocean Villa is a secluded private residence just steps from the Pacific Ocean. The property is ideal for relaxing, swimming, surfing, fishing, and other excursions.
Enjoy the oceanfront pool, rooftop deck, ocean views, sunsets, and views of the surrounding volcanoes. The villa is located 3 kilometers south of the fishing village of Salinas Grandes and a 45-minute drive from León.
The Space
The villa has three bedrooms and accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.
Each room includes:

- Private bathroom
The second-floor suites feature oceanfront balconies as well as balconies overlooking the inland volcanoes. The villa was designed to take advantage of the Pacific Ocean’s cross-breezes, so the second-floor rooms do not have air conditioning. Ceiling fans are provided in every room, with additional fans throughout the house.
The downstairs bedroom includes air conditioning because it does not receive the same level of ocean breeze.
Outdoor Areas
The home features a flat rooftop patio with impressive views of the ocean and volcanoes. At night, the rooftop offers a clear view of the stars.
Guests can cool off in either the Pacific Ocean or the swimming pool beside the stone patio. An outdoor shower is also available for rinsing off after surfing or swimming.

To make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible, the villa provides:

The grocery service includes a $60 USD service fee in addition to the cost of the groceries. Delivery service can also be arranged for a small fee if you need supplies during your stay.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the property, except for the cabana where Matt and Rachel reside.
Additional Information
The bedroom can be arranged with either one king-size bed or two twin beds. Please let us know your preferred setup before arrival.
Additional details:
- Please bring your own food and drinks. The villa is approximately 35 minutes from the nearest community, Salinas Grandes, and one hour from León.
- Laundry service is available to longer-term guests for a nominal additional fee.
- Check-in is at 2:00 p.m., and check-out is no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Alternative arrangements may be discussed based on your travel schedule.
- The home is suitable for events and retreats for up to nine people. Yoga and other small business retreats are hosted at the villa; please inquire about available packages.
- Families are welcome, although children under 10 are not recommended because some features of the home are not child-friendly.
- Special rates are available for weekly or monthly full-house rentals.
- Rates are based on two-person occupancy. An additional guest costs $20 USD per night.
Please exercise caution around the Pacific Ocean, where waves and currents can be unpredictable. Guests enjoy the ocean at their own risk.

Our stay at Tres Volcanes Ocean Villa was very pleasant overall. The property is easy to reach, with clear directions on Waze and Google Maps, and the road is accessible. Upon arrival, the house was clean, well organized, and ready for our stay. The pool was crystal clear, with a beautiful ocean view and stunning sunsets. The kitchen is spacious and bright, with a breakfast bar and open connection to the living room, dining area, and terrace, making it ideal for groups. For a house that accommodates 10 people, additional glasses and coffee mugs would be helpful. The wooden sun loungers by the pool show some wear and they didn't have cushions. The villa is very beautiful, with spectacular coastal views. The rooftop (third floor) offers breathtaking views of the volcanoes and salt flats, which was a highlight of our stay. With routine maintenance, such as repairing some glass doors and faucets, and also relocating the grill closer to the pool area, the experience could be even better.

This is a bit long, but necessary to share: The house did not fully match what was advertised on Airbnb, since the photos are outdated and do not reflect the current condition. The first night we considered to leave the house and cancel the reservation. There were issues with cleanliness and functionality: non-working AC, fans with problems, a dirty and non-functional kitchen and oven, a partially working fridge, plumbing issues, and initially unsafe drinking water. Sheets, walls, and toilets were in bad conditions and some furniture were missing. The house needs urgently be renovated. The manager responded quickly, but solutions were limited. The beach is private and location nice, though access is difficult due to the road. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations or justify the price.

Matt, the host, was absolutely fantastic! Very responsive, helpful and friendly. The location: beyond gorgeous.Right on the ocean, no people around. The property: unfortunately is quite tired and needs to be painted, outdoor furniture needs repair/updating.
