Punta Paraiso Costa Rica

This was paradise! The pool was outstanding. The service was outstanding. We were surrounded by monkeys, hummingbirds, and other beautiful birds. The beach out front was great surf for beginners and there is a nice river mouth break for intermediate level surfers just a short walk away. Will definitely be coming back next year!

An incredible week with our family (two couples and 2 preteens) at Punta Paraiso! The home is at the end of the road, where the jungle meets the beach. At the house, we saw howler monkeys, an iguana, crabs, and tons of birds and butterflies. We did lose power a few times due to thunderstorms (which were incredible to watch from the balcony) but the house is prepared for that too. A/C works great. The pool was awesome! Our host was always available if we needed anything. Stop by the Verdiazul Turtle Hatchery for the class--it's a must! And while the beach was relatively pristine compared to most of the world--take a trash bag with you when you go for a walk to collect any plastic you find--there is a recycling center at Verdiazul. Thank you Eden Properties for a wonderful introduction to Costa Rica. Pura vida maes!

Gorgeous house and grounds. We enjoyed the area in the pool to sit at to keep out of the sun. The upstairs balcony was great for sunsets and watching the surfers to the north. The house also had great water pressure.

Great private beach house. We enjoyed both the pool and beach. Excellent host!

We had a wonderful stay with our teens & loved the upstairs view from the patio. The sunsets on the almost private beach and the stars at night were magical. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

This is an amazing property. It is the last property on the road so it is very private. The beach is beautiful and you will feel like it is yours alone. The pool is incredibly inviting, we spent a LOT of time in the pool! There are many restaurant's within a few miles. A great place to just get away and relax.

Beautiful home right on the ocean. The house came stocked with everything you would need for a group or family. The casita made it great for the grandparents to have privacy but still be part of the action. The home is down a pretty bumpy dirt road that takes about 5 mins to get in and out of so just make sure you have a car because the location is not walkable to restaurants or stores. With a car, you could get everything you needed within a 10-15 min drive. (Our favorite nearby restaurant was at Guacamaya Lodge. We ate a breakfast, lunch and dinner there it was so great and the grounds are beautiful). The property manager was incredibly responsive and completely attentive to all of our needs.

We had such a great time here. The beach is amazing, and it felt like our own private beach, which was ridiculous considering how incredibly beautiful it is!!! Chiara the property manager was especially helpful with her recommendations, and we greatly appreciated her!

What is not to love? The beach is stunning and very private. Do know it is not a beach for swimming, but for walking and admiring the power of the ocean. Also amazing sunsets! The pool was lovely, perfect temperature and well maintained. We loved watching the wildlife in the area and being visited by the friendly neighborhood dogs. Overall, a lovely house, peaceful surroundings and helpful hosts. Highly recommended!
