The Space
We personally manage every aspect of this home, from maintenance and deep cleaning to providing quality soaps and consumables. By offering the villa directly to guests rather than through large rental management companies, we ensure quick responses, greater flexibility, and personalized attention during your visit.
The Palms community provides:

Guests have access to water sports equipment and a concierge service that can arrange activities, spa treatments, or babysitting at no extra charge. You can also enjoy hot food delivered with a simple phone call and relax with sunset cocktails by the pool.
If you enjoy cooking, you’ll appreciate the fully stocked kitchen with new appliances and a shared barbecue area featuring brand-new Weber grills under a charming Palapa roof. The wet bar includes a reverse osmosis drinking water tap, ice bucket, and cocktail accessories.

- Paddle boards, kayaks, and boogie boards for guest use
- Two spacious dining areas—indoor and outdoor
- Indoor dining table made of white marble with comfortable tailored chairs

Fall asleep to the soothing sound of crashing waves in the primary bedroom. The second bedroom also has a private patio, and all patio doors are fitted with screens to keep bugs out.
Bedrooms and Sleeping Arrangements
Both bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms with elegant finishes and high-thread-count sheets on comfortable pillow-top beds. Each room has independently controlled, quiet air conditioning.
- Primary Suite: 1 King bed
- Guest Suite: Configurable as either 1 King bed or 2 Twin beds
- Upstairs loft: 1 Double bed
- Additional sleeping: La-Z-Boy queen-size sofa bed (2024 model) in the living room with blackout shades
Family-Friendly Features
We provide everything needed for traveling with a baby, including:
- Pack and Play crib with mattress, linens, baby blanket, and pillows
- Changing pad
- Baby monitor with poolside range
- Selection of toys, puzzles, and board games
Both bedrooms have blackout curtains to ensure restful naps. Our guests often remark that the photos don’t do the villa justice—it’s even more beautiful in person!
Guest Access and Fees
Please note that a 13% Costa Rica VAT is required.
The all-inclusive fees cover:

Additional Information
- The villa accommodates a maximum of 6 guests in compliance with local regulations.
- To promote eco-friendly electricity use, the air conditioning system automatically shuts off if any door remains open for more than 90 seconds. Please keep doors closed to maintain a comfortable temperature, especially for guests sleeping upstairs.

I’ve been traveling with kids for almost ten years, and I truly cannot recommend Mike and Julia’s place enough. The location is unbeatable - literally just a few steps from the beach. It’s incredibly convenient for families: a pool just steps from the apartment, an outdoor and i indoor shower downstairs, and a very well-equipped kitchen at a high standard. There were even toys for the kids, which made such a difference. The service from the hosts and staff was absolutely amazing -everything you could possibly need is taken care of. We had an incredible time and enjoyed every moment!!!

Our family of 4 with small kids had a wonderful time. The hosts were extremely accommodating and the house was just amazing. The pool was fabulous (excellent for both kids and adults, plus there is an adult only pool as well). Having the ocean right in front made it extra special. We had a great time and would love to come back in the future. The rental also comes with a wonderful concierge team, they were so helpful in getting us wonderful dinner reservations, last minute tours, fixing any issues with the rental (as were the hosts). I would definitely give them 5 stars for care of their guests!

Costa Rican Paradise! Felt like a home away from home. Immaculately clean. Such a beautiful location on the beach. The view is just gorgeous. The beach and water are excellent for swimming and jumping in the waves. Friendly, responsive hosts. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Palms 29 was an amazing spot for my family of 4! It’s equip with everything you’d need for kiddos and the ideal location to the beach/pool! Makes it so easy to pop back and forth for naps or snacks. Mike and Julia were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We went to many of the restaurants they recommended and they were all excellent.

This was our 2nd time at #29 and it didn't disappoint. Not only is this one of the most well-appointed villas at The Palms, (we have seen several), but there is literally nothing extra you need to bring. They have hairdryer and kids sand toys, umbrellas, an essential oil diffuser, coffee pots both in the kitchen and the master bedroom, independent a/c unit for each of the 2 bedrooms and the main areas, beach towels, extra linen, a safe for valuables, the BEST loft mattress in the 6 villas we have now seen (this is VERY important because some were very thin) and a phenominally responsive concierge at your beckon call. And the bartender the pool 6 days a week named Kevin is an artist. Villa #29 made our wedding week so easy to relax and enjoy this beautiful country once again. Mike and Julia are very responsive and although we faced a few challenges (small things), it wouldn't have been a wedding week without a few bumps in the road. We will absolutely be staying here again. Not only was the location perfect for us, it was also extremely clean, and had plenty of extras such as blankets, pillows, and sheets. Sometimes at an air bnb the hosts provide the bare minimum and I am left to run to the store to buy extras. That was absolutely not the case here. We could not have been happier with the service, comfort of the amenities, the onsite concierge, and overall stay. We are excited to return for our annual trip next year.
