The property features lush landscaping, a private pool with a cenote inhabited by two turtles, and a waterfall. Outdoor living is enhanced by large covered patios, a bar, a rooftop deck, a custom-built BBQ and smoker, and a ping pong table. Beach and pool toys, portable beach chairs, and four aluminum-frame beach bikes are also available for guest use.

Situated in the secure, gated Playacar neighborhood, the villa is just a two-minute walk from pristine beaches. It is four blocks from the Hard Rock Playacar golf club and spa, three blocks from the Aviary, and a 15-minute stroll to 5th Avenue, Playa del Carmen’s main entertainment district with restaurants, bars, and shops.

Our family loved this rental. We were constantly entertained by the local visiting creatures including monkeys, turtles and many other rare animals. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer, A/C, a smart TV and many private rooms. No regrets renting this location.

Patricia had great local recommendations that we really appreciated. The house was clean, and the entry was easy. The WiFi doesn’t quite work as expected, with several networks that don’t seem to be synced up as you’d expect. The pool is great, but is on a timer that you’ll need to adjust. DO NOT turn on the waterfall. The smell will make sure you stay away from the pool for the remainder of the day. Still, a super nice experience in a great location.

Would rent again. The home is beautiful, and having our own pool was fantastic. The walk to the beach was just two blocks away going through a keyed gate (at the back of the house), or you could go out the front door and across the street was a path through a wooded area and get beach access that way. That way was also the way we took to walk to town of Playa which took about 20 minutes. For the bedrooms, just be aware that the two small bedrooms are located inside two larger bedrooms so if you are comfortable having someone going through your bedroom to access them, you'll be fine. (We were family so it was fine. The master bedroom above the kitchen is very large, but be aware that the bathroom is behind a partial wall with no door. We had a small family in that room and they were ok with limited privacy. It may have stated that in the description and we missed it. The kids loved the pool, bikes, and pingpong table Oh, and highly recommend hiring Ruth the housekeeper to make meals!

Sin duda una excelente opción para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables con la familia o amigos. El lugar estaba súper bonito, limpio, cómodo, tranquilo. La distribución de cada espacio excelente. Justo el lugar ideal para varias familias juntas. La cocina impecable. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para no batallarle y facilitar la estancia. 100 de 100!!!

Our family of seven spent a week at Patricia’s Villa the first week of April 2026 and had an amazing time. My grandchildren ages 9, 6 &4 enjoyed the pools and all the amenities but most of all they loved the beach and the fact that we could just walk there from the house was a big plus. The house was stocked with everything you could need. Can’t wait to go back again.

Patricia’s house was lovely and spacious. Ruth, the housekeeper, was very sweet and incredibly helpful, she grocery shopped and made us a few meals during our stay. Highly recommend!
