The apartment is nicer than the pictures. Was pleasantly surprised, however- the apartment was not that clean. There was hair and obvious debris on the floors. We have a small baby who crawls around- this was not ideal. The oven also didn’t work. The worst part, was that the balcony doors wouldn’t lock and the apartment is on the ground level. When I spoke to the host about it - he just kept saying ‘it’s a safe place. I assure you’. This didn’t reassure me. I wouldn’t book his apartment again.

I rented this airbnb for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. I got it because it wasn’t too far from downtown, which is the area where we wanted to be at, I thought we could walk there but honestly it seemed like a long walk and the Airbnb is up a hill so we just Uber everywhere, it was like $5. Alfonso’s place was nice, pretty, clean and big. On one of the slide doors the lock was broken so we couldn’t lock it, I did tell Alfonso and he did ask me if he wanted someone to go fix it, but we said no. The place has cameras and you need a code to get inside the building, we felt pretty safe. The only thing we didn’t like was the beds, they weren’t comfy, they were pretty hard, I actually woke up sore. Other than that, the place worked out for us. There’s also a little restaurant called Antojitos, walking distance and they make some great burgers. We also tried the sushi place near there and it was good, especially their drinks.

Alfonso is a great host. He is helpful and responsive. The apartment is nice & modern. It would be nicer if it was not on the ground floor and the view was not into a parking lot. The roof top view is great and the location is about $5 Uber ride to the city center & the beach.

Alfonso’s place is so beautiful and well maintained! The place was exactly as depicted and we had a great stay! Would definitely book again in the future! :)

The condo is well decorated and has all that you need to live well. However the unit faces a parking lot and there is construction right in front. Fine for sleeping at night but we rarely put up the blinds during the day. Host is very responsive.
