In a magical forest there is a cabin.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place! The entire property is private and beautiful. The heated pool was really warm- almost too warm in the afternoon sun, but perfect in the mornings and evenings. So many lovely places to enjoy nature around the huge deck or other areas on the property. We saw keel killed toucans on the nearby treetops. Several other smaller colorful birds liked to come near the house. The hiking trails on property were fun. Walking up and down the private driveway also provided great opportunities for viewing nature and getting a good workout. Each room in the house was very nice with its own full bath. Numerous great conversational spots throughout the downstairs. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. At night the sounds of nature were so peaceful for sleeping. A 4x4 is not required but I would recommend it, especially if going back out in the rain. The printed instructions and map were very helpful. In summary, 5 stars! Loved it!

La propiedad es un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor, ideal para disfrutar en familia. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, incluyendo una cocina completamente equipada, juegos para niños y una piscina con agua climatizada, perfecta para relajarse en cualquier momento. Agradecemos al Sr. Mauricio por su amabilidad y atención constante, siempre dispuesto a atender cualquier solicitud. Sin duda, una excelente opción para descansar y disfrutar.

The place is the place for those looking for solitude. You neither see nor hear everyone; the closest house is about half a mile away. Yet, the internet is fast and reliable there, and all concerns, if any would arise, are addressed promptly and proactively. The drive down the river valley is steep but doable in almost any high-clearance vehicle, even without 4WD, although a good SUV or pickup is preferable. The house sits on a flat valley along the creek, and the grounds are easy to walk around. Two pools, one air temperature, one slightly warmer, are in good order. The beds are comfy, each with its bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped. We were not lucky enough to spot wildlife, yet we glimpsed a few toucans, oropendolas and a couple of capuchin monkeys. It's a great place to relax and unwind.

La casa es espectacular, la tranquilidad y la naturaleza son una belleza. No nos hizo falta nada. Es un lugar perfecto para pasar días en familia. Esperamos regresar en verano.

Finca Azul is exquisite, well manicured and perfect for hikes, family bonding and nature. The property is homey with everything in the kitchen and great attention to details. The family is welcoming, genuine and the care takers are professional and the right mix of out of sight and avaliable for all your needs. This is a true retreat, prefect for a reset! I think we will make this a yearly tradition. Waking up to birds and sleeping to the sound of the river, perfect heated pool, over 6 different spots to set up family meals.....just fantastic!
