Casa Lush & Mistico Beach Club+Boat Shuttle

The home was absolutely stunning and easily one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The views, design, and atmosphere were amazing, and the towels were clean upon arrival. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. The Tropic Air flights arranged through the Airbnb were booked incorrectly, and the home was not fully ready at check-in, with cleaners still working around the property after we arrived. The AC in the master bedroom did not work, some plugs were not providing proper power, and the iron would not heat up. The recommended golf cart company was also very unresponsive and unclear about procedures and expectations. Our private chef was escorted to the wrong house, leaving us without dinner after a long day. On departure day, delayed luggage assistance caused us to miss our flight. Beautiful property, but the communication and coordination did not match the luxury experience.

We stayed as a Group of 8! Villa was located in beautiful area, was beautiful, on the river with amazing customer service and the restaurant at the Villa was AMAZING!!! Best food all trip! However, the Villa was advertised as a 6bd and 3.5 bathrooms. There were only 5 rooms! It was very big and spacious but the pool was very small and cold! HOWEVER, the villa was absolutely FILTHY and very DIRTY! The bedding was stained all over and seemed unwashed. The sheets, pillow cases, and mattress cover had hair all over it, chipped nails, and stains. We all had to wash all of the bedding in order to even sleep for the stay! There was a broken window curtain in the master room, we found a huge cocker roach in the kitchen, the bathrooms were dingy and not that clean at all. The couch seemed run down and dirty. The carpet in the living room was dirty! The cleaning was the WORST and highly unexpected for $3,200 US dollars for 3-4 days! The shower water was near freezing every night! Not pleasing!
