Captivating villa, heated pool, amazing views! - Villas for Rent in La Fortuna, Provincia de Alajuela, Costa Rica

Great place with amazing volcano views. The house has everything you need for sunny and rainy days (TVs with Netflix, prime,etc) - especially the heated pool was made it a fantastic stay. The house is very close to a super market, restaurants and all other attractions of La Fortuna. Perfect for one or several nights in the Arenal area.

This is easily the best vacation place ever!! The location with views of the volcano are stunning and we were able to take walks to see the volcano up close. The heated pool was the best feature as we returned back from our excursions. The home itself is modern and spotless clean. Finally, the host was always available to advise or fix any issues that came up. I hope to be back as it is a gem in the truest sense

I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay! From the SECOND I inquired, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive. I planned our girls’/birthday trip myself, but he made everything else effortless! He recommended amazing restaurants, helped arrange transportation to and from La Fortuna, and connected us with a private chef and in-home massages. Every recommendation was professional and on time, and the chef was AMAZING! The house was BEAUTIFUL, modern, spotless, and the volcano view was breathtaking! 😍 We had one small issue, and almost immediately after messaging him, someone arrived to fix it. Anything we needed was handled so quickly it almost felt like a robotic house 😂. The location was perfect, with restaurants nearby, cafés within walking distance, and Off Road ATV literally next door. He truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND and made our first La Fortuna experience amazing. I would 100% stay here again! 🇨🇷🌋❤️

This location is amazing! The view of the volcano is killer. It was convient to our activities and to town. They were kind enough to also include extras - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent, and even coffee! Almost next door is the best place we ate at while in La Fortuna - Raul Castano. The food was amazing and it had the same great view. The hosts of this property were super responsive and super helpful with any questions/concerns we had. The beds were firm and comfortable. The heated pool was a great place to relax at the end of the day while feeling like you're in a private paradise. Would stay here again!

We have no complaints. Javier was very helpful with recommendations and made it easy to access the condo.  Very clean and nice. Pool was great. Instructions were clear. It was a little foggy and rainy at times, so hard to see the volcano that was literally right in front of us. (Clearly, out of anyone’s control). Would highly recommend!

Javier’s place met all of our needs. Very clean and comfortable. The heated private pool was awesome and what made the unit worth the extra cost. One thing to be aware of is the AC is connected to the key fob, so when you leave the AC turns off and you may return to a warm damp unit. Typically cools down fast but worth letting other know about.

This is a wonderful place with a great view. Perfect for two couples The parking lot is challenging to park in when it rains due to being washed out

The unit has nice finishes; it is a new build and has all the amenities in perfect condition. As areas for improvement, the few meters leading up to the unit are not paved, nor is the parking lot. If you come with a sedan-type vehicle, parking may be difficult during the rainy season.

La unidad tiene buenos acabados,  es una nueva construcción y tiene todos. los servicios en perfecto estado. como puntos de mejora serían que los pocos metros hasta la unidad no están asfaltados, tampoco lo está el parqueo. Si viene con un vehículo tipo sedan puede que sea complicado el aparcar en estación lluviosa.

Really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view, great location, quiet. Easy to go around.

We were only able to be here one night, but it was well worth the trip, for a quick stay between our visits to Santa Elena and then to Santa Teresa (many miles, but still worth it!). The home is amazing, fantastic views, very clean, all amenities you could want, and great outdoor spaces including a picturesque view of the volcano from the second floor patio and a small heated pool that was very enjoyable. The team responded almost instantly when we had a couple questions, helped us decide what to do with our short time in the area, offered great restaurant selections nearby, and connected us with a wonderful private chef that made us a delicious breakfast. Only regret is not staying longer. Hope to be back one day.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect location, clean and modern. Great space for family of 5, and amazing views of volcanos even when foggy / rainy was stunning. We used the free concierge service to book activities and was really helpful and friendly. Would stay again!

Great place to stay. Fantastic view of the volcano. Very good location for all major attractions. 15 minutes outside of La Fortuna, which saves a lot of time getting to hot spots like the Arenal Volcano National Park, Tabacón Hot Springs, Mistico Park… In the evening, we relaxed in the heated pool. We felt very comfortable. Absolutely recommended!

Tolle Unterkunft. Phantastischer Ausblick auf den Vulkan. Sehr gute Lage für alle relevanten Ausflugsziele. 15 min außerhalb von La Fortuna, spart viel Zeit zu den Hot Spots wie El Arenal NP, Tabacon Hot Springs, Mistico Park…abends haben wir im beheizten Pool entspannt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

This villa was in a great location (close to town and a lot of excursions we had planned). Quiet and private. Very clean. Able to explore (walk/run) right from front door. Experience matched descriptions.

Perfect location and view of the volcano. Great private pool. Just fyi parking can be tight and the house smelt a little musty. Concierge team was very kind and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Javier and the team was amazing!! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Airbnb! He provided several recommendations that were all really close, there were excursions operators (ATV, Zipline, Horseback Riding) walking distance. The house was also very clean and looked exactly like the photos, if not better!

Stayed here for a little less than a week and had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, communication was fast and there was a lot of space. Unfortunately we couldn’t see much of the volcano but the view was still beautiful. Would stay here again

We LOVED the house.  It was so clean and new.  We felt very private and the pool was PERFECT for time with our kids after excursions.  We loved the layout of everything and the large upstairs patio was so great to unwind.  No negative comments from me- everything was great!

Javier’s place was incredible and perfectly located right in the heart of town. Restaurants, great coffee, and amazing food were just down the street. The view of the volcano was absolutely stunning. The place was spotless, and the heated pool was a fantastic touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the space nice and cool, and all the bathrooms were excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return.

The best accommodation experience in Costa Rica, the view from the second floor terrace is spectacular, you can directly see the volcano🌋, the first floor pool is surrounded by vegetation, great for relaxing.The sheets, towels, etc. are very clean, the facilities are no less than a star hotel.There are various companies organizing activities next door. Highly recommended

Our stay was great, the views were spectacular to the volcano and beautiful surroundings. Lots to do in the area. Javier was very helpful and friendly, and very accommodating! The only thing I wish we had gotten was a pool heater to better enjoy the pool, but overall the stay was splendid, would definitely recommend it!

Diego & Javier were such great hosts! There were so many things to do in La Fortuna. The location was perfect. They sent over recommendations & even offered other services such as a private chef & massage services which we did ask for. The Airbnb is so beautiful! Everything was clean and just as pictured! Javier and Diego were easy to contact but they were always attentive and proactive with recommendations to everything. Very attentive host, great house overlooking the volcano (if it is not covered by the clouds😅). Cozy balcony and beautiful pool. The rooms are large and spacious, bathroom right next to the rooms, but unfortunately with a little hanging space for wet clothes or bathing suits. All in all, a relaxing and relaxing stay.

Sehr bemühe Gastgeber, tolles Haus mit Blick auf den Vulkan (wenn er nicht von den Wolken verdeckt wird 😅). Gemütlicher Balkon und schöner Pool. Die Zimmer groß und geräumig, Badezimmer gleich neben den Zimmern, aber leider mit etwas wenig Aufhängemöglichkeiten für nasses Gewand oder Badesachen. Alles in allem ein erholsamer und entspannter Aufenthalt.

House is in a good location to explore Arenal and La Fortuna surroundings. House is new and nice, and has great views of the volcano from the second floor terrace. Kitchen and living room downstairs are a bit crammed so not recommended for more than 4 people. Unfortunately some noise from nearby road at nights, although hosts provide useful white noise machine.

We absolutely loved our stay at Arenal Kiroko Villa. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet area yet only a short drive to La Fortuna’s restaurants, hot springs, and adventure activities. The view of Arenal Volcano from the property is breathtaking, especially in the morning with the mist clearing. The villa itself is clean, modern, and well-equipped. We appreciated the private pool to cool off after a day of exploring, and the outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying coffee and planning our day. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well during the humid nights. The hosts easily reached and responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and local feedback that made our stay easier.

Beautiful home, was exactly what we needed. It was extremely clean and even smelled very refresh and clean. The location was great!  Seemed to be centrally located near downtown, restaurants, grocery stores and attractions. We loved the upstairs balcony, where we made good use of the grill and enjoyed the beautiful view of Mt Arenol.  We were thankful for the UNO game that they provided to enjoy on the balcony, while the rain came down. Diego was very responsive and helpful with recommendations and answers all our questions. The only negative was that beds were a little hard for my liking, but no biggie. We highly recommend this home!

The property was clean and matched the listing. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to see the volcano due to heavy cloud cover—if that’s a main attraction for you, check the weather before booking, especially during rainy season. The downstairs bedroom’s sliding door didn’t lock properly, so we had to secure it with a broomstick. On our last night, the villa was broken into and several valuables—including electronics, jewelry, and cash—were stolen. We filed a police report and were told the area has seen similar incidents involving tourists. Airbnb moved us to a motel, but neither Airbnb nor the host provided meaningful support, and there was little concern for our safety. The backyard pool isn’t very private—guests from nearby villas can see in, and there’s frequent foot traffic and nearby construction. Also, the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. This was one of the most stressful travel experiences we’ve had—travel insurance is a must.

The sliding door you referenced was functioning normally prior to the incident and was damaged as a result of the break-in. Airbnb conducted a full investigation and confirmed that there were no preexisting security issues at the property. They determined that this unfortunate event was beyond the control of both the host and the platform, and thus did not qualify under the AirCover policy. We took immediate action by reporting the incident to the police and providing all available footage. We have been informed that the suspects involved have already been identified by the authorities. In response, we have also reinforced the security at the property, including the installation of newer locks, additional perimeter fencing, and strengthened residential security patrols to ensure peace of mind for future guests. While we understand how this experience could color your perception of the stay, we respectfully note that some of the additional concerns raised are not consistent with the feedback we have received from many previous guests. We deeply regret that this event occurred and truly empathize with your frustration. We remain committed to providing a secure, clean, and comfortable environment for all of our guests, and we sincerely hope your future travels are smooth and filled with positive memories. The Villa was exactly as shown and described and provided a very comfortable stay for our three nights in La Fortuna. The host was proactive with instructions and responsive to messages and also provided recommendations upon request for our time in the area. The location is great in the sense that you are near all of the La Fortuna sights, the only thing to be aware of is that you are next to the main road and traffic can be quite loud - there are noise machines provided in both bedrooms.

The place is beautiful and feels like it is  located at the foot hills of Arenal. The views are spectacular. Kitchen was well equipped. There was a water problem one of the days but the team responded quickly. The two rooms are located on two different levels and that was the only thing we were not very happy as we traveled with small kids. But, overall, very nice and cozy house with all amenities and splendid views

Property was spotless and beautiful view of volcano. Perfect “base camp” for a family of four for all of the La Fortuna activities. There was an issue with one of the upstairs doors when we arrived but property management graciously resolved it. Only mention is it’s close to busy road (lots of trucks & motorcycles drive by all hours of night). Area very safe. Would definitely rent again.

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay! The villa was absolutely stunning with such a beautiful view. The location was perfect. We had an unobstructed view of the volcano and the surrounding area was quiet and away from the busy town. There were multiple smaller restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of the Airbnb as well as many of the outdoor activities we participated in such as horseback riding and ATVs. The main part of town was also conveniently located about 10-15 minute drive away. The Airbnb was spotless and well kept and supplied. It was a big plus having a washer and dryer in unit. We loved the modern touches that the home included and we would definitely recommend anyone to stay here for a peaceful getaway to La Fortuna!

Beautiful house with an amazing view if the volcano. It is also in the perfect location if you’re looking to visit the hot springs, visit the la fortuna waterfall, or go on any adventures like horse back riding, atv rides, or zip lining. This stay is in an excellent location, just a little bit outside of the main, very busy center of La Fortuna. The view of the Volcano is amazing from the second story and the sunrises are beautiful as well. The kids loved the pool. We enjoyed the modern clean look of the house. Thank you!

Brand new and beautiful. We have stayed at plenty of locations in fortuna but this one may have topped them all. Extremely comfortable beds amazing private pool. The terrace has the perfect view of the volcano which decided to stay uncovered for our stay. It was everything we dreamed of to celebrate our wedding.

The host was very responsive. The beautiful home was exactly as described. Nice private small pool and yard area. plenty of towels and bath amenities. We discovered there is not hot water in the kitchen sink (and no dishwasher) which would make cleanup and washing dishes difficult after a meal, but it wasn’t a huge deal for us as we didn’t prepare any meals during our stay. Everything looked new and fresh and very clean. Fun partially-open porch on upper level for evening enjoyment. Great location close to town and short drive to hot springs, the volcano hike and other activities.

Unbeatable location and fantastic hosts. The place was just what we needed to enjoy all of the gifts of La Fortuna, including the best coffee at Sloffee, just three mins away. The place itself was clean, comfortable and had great showers! Pool available for moments you want to chill at the property and the views are breathtaking!
