We had a wonderful stay at Shelly’s place. The location couldn’t have been better—close to the beach and fantastic restaurants. The home was perfect for our group of seven, and seeing monkeys in the trees was such a unique and memorable experience. Don't miss the Jaguar Rescue Center located within walking distance. The kids especially loved the pool. It’s a truly amazing home, and we’re so grateful we had the opportunity to stay there.

Our family of 5 traveled from Minnesota, USA to Costa Rica for spring break. We had the BEST time and were sad to leave! The Airbnb was clean and spacious. Shelly gave us many great recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. She’s an excellent resource and very responsive. The location was incredible. We could walk to many different dining spots and beaches as well as the jaguar rescue. The pool sure got used as well! We all agree this was the best trip any of us has ever been on!

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed Casa Nairi! It was a beautiful spot and we absolutely loved the little pool and the treehouse! There are many wonderful restaurants and the beach is very close. Jaguar rescue is next door too! Shelly was an incredible host…so responsive and helpful! We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The property is beautiful, and well equipped. We especially loved the tree house and the pool both were such fun and unique features and really made the experience memorable. One thing to note for future guests is that there are two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, and the stairs connecting the levels are outside the home rather than inside. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but we didn’t realize this before arriving, so it may be helpful to know when planning your stay. Also, there is no dishwasher, and toilet paper cannot be flushed in the toilets. The host did include these instructions ahead of time, but we had overlooked them in the listing, so it’s just something future guests may want to be aware of. The host was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience! There are also two friendly cats on property who we loved!

I don’t usually write reviews, I often find them a bit one-sided, but in this case I had such a great experience that I really wanted to! Even before booking, I had a lot of questions and Shelly promptly answered every one of them. During our stay, my sister got sick and Shelly offered to pick her up and bring her to the clinic. We didn’t even ask—Shelly just did it 🥰 Besides the exceptional service, the house itself is great, but the treehouse, pool, and yard are amazing! We actually ended up doing a lot less exploring around the area because we had so much wildlife right in the yard: sloths, howler monkeys (who wake you up bright and early in the morning), iguanas in the trees, toucans, and macaws. The pool is refreshing, and everything is within walking or biking distance. We absolutely loved it and hopefully will return one day. 🌴

Great place to stay in the jungle! House, outdoor kitchen/eating area and pool were perfect and had all we needed for our stay. The house is laid out nicely with room for all 6 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Literally a 4-5 minute walk to an uncrowded beach. You don't need a car because you can walk to rent bikes or take a tuk tuk, which are plentiful and inexpensive. Restaurants and shops are very close. Shelly gave us a listing of grocery stores and great restaurants in town or within walking distance of the house. Also, to some close national parks. The Jaguar Rescue Center is right next door to the house, which is a must do option. Very informative and a great organization. She also found a great transport company for us to use back and forth to SJO airport. She was extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions we had.

We had a magical stay at Shelly’s place, wrapped in nature with spacious and comfortable bedrooms and the convenience of being able to walk to the beach, to town and to the amazing Jaguar rescue wildlife center. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals at home, we all loved the pool and sitting up in the beautiful treehouse. You will not regret your stay at this beautiful home with excellent hosts!
