Villa La Jolla

The yard and the views at this house were really amazing. Also, the location was wonderful! Vistas Atenas such a nice neighborhood and it’s a perfect distance from town for easy access to shops and restaurants, without all the noise. We really enjoyed the pool and the space. The house itself could be really nice, but needs just a little more attention. For example, the towel rack and the toilet paper holder regularly came out of the wall while being used. One of the flusher handlers on the toilet was hanging on by a thread. The rug in our bathroom was kind of gross. Also, there was a huge gap under the door in one of the bedrooms from the outside which made it hard to keep bugs and scorpions out. There was also a lot of junk and clutter around which made it hard to find space for our own belongings since we were there for a month. All of these things are easy to remedy, but just felt like we overpaid considering.

This house is in a great location with beautiful views and lots of wildlife. It’s just a few minutes drive into town but feels like you’re away from it all. Eunice was extremely helpful and responsive and a real pleasure to work with. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the house has a few minor repairs/replacement items that need to be addressed. None of this would prevent us from renting this place again though. Great experience!
