A beautiful place, extremely beautiful view from the room and balcony. Everything was clean, kitchen was well equipped. The only thing I’d say is the mattress is too hard. Tuk tuk service to Panajachel can be requested during the day, at 20-30 GTQ. Very helpful and friendly staff in the location. Mauricio and Leo made sure my stay was comfortable. I also had a massage service in the room with Blanca… it was one of the best massages ever!! Thanks for everything I would love to come back one day!

Gabriel’s place was absolutely stunning, nestled in a private hillside with a two-chaired balcony overlooking lake atitlan. The space is newly built with quality materials. Everything was in working order. The space comes with conveniences that are exceptionally valuable near the lake. First, the shower has a nice overhead faucet that comes pouring down with steaming hot water (if you’d like it), with a view in the shower overlooking the lake while still being completely private. Second, the space has a mini fridge, a full kitchen with glasses and dishes, and a full container of filtered water with purified ice. Third, the bed directly overlooks the lake with nearly panoramic lake views, and shutters completely enclose the space at night. The hosts were extraordinary. When we arrived, they personally lifted our luggage. We were met with a named sign greeting us, and all towels and were arranged in a heart shape. They called tuk-tuks upon request and offered cleaning. 11/10.

Nice apartment. A little noise in the morning from a water pump or something similar. It's best to arrive by public transport because the parking situation is a bit tricky due to the slopes. The cooling/ventilation system could be improved.

Amazing stay with incredible views of the lake and volcano. The place was spotless and clearly put together with a lot of thought, every detail felt intentional. Perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area, already thinking about when I can come back!

We absolutely loved staying at this property. Definitely need to be in optimal physical state as it requires much stairs and uphill walk as well as descend when leaving. I would recommend if you’re looking to immerse yourself in tranquility. They arranged just about all of our activities, exceptional communication and attention to detail.

A place with a magnificent view! A few minutes' drive from the center. Just be aware that you have to climb a fairly steep hill to get to the accommodation!

Very accessible and relatively quiet! Beautiful courtyard as well. Leonardo was very helpful and very attentive to all my needs. The staff helped carry my bags up the hill and made check in and out very easy. Look forward to staying here again!

We had a great stay and would definitely come back again. The view is absolutely stunning, and it was really nice to be a little outside the hustle and bustle of Panajachel. The apartment is more spacious than it appears in the photos, very clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen. Communication was excellent throughout, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The location is a bit outside of Panajachel, so you’ll need to take a tuk-tuk to get there, but the staff can easily organize one for you, which made everything very convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay with beautiful views, great service, and a peaceful atmosphere.

My husband and I loved our stay! The staff is incredibly hospitable—a special shout-out to Leo, who arranged all our transport and ensured everything ran seamlessly. The views are stunning, and we loved the location; it’s a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Panajachel but still easily accessible by tuk-tuk. Our only minor complaints are that the beds were quite firm and the room got a bit muggy in the summer heat since there is no AC.

Beautiful place with amazing views!! It is a bit away from Panajachel so you will need to take a tuk tuk or vehicle back and forth. The walk up to the place was extremely steep. Definitely not for anyone who is handicapped or unable to walk up a very steep 100 foot driveway. Our tuk tuk couldn't make it up.  Our flight was cancelled due to volcanic ash and we were delayed a day that was beyond our control so understand when it says nonrefundable they will not compromise.Other than that we absolutely loved the place and would stay here again!!

The view is what really made this place 5 stars! I loved it. Plus having a balcony was a huge plus. My only complaint, The bed was not comfortable at all.  There is a hike to get up to the room, but 100% worth it. The host team was very helpful and responsive. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great view, cozy apartment, with essentials. Overall good experience. The only things I can point out is that other reviews were accurate about the location being on a steep hill so be prepared for a short hike or a very tight and careful drive up. They do help with luggage so that was definitely helpful or would have been quite a workout. The only comment inside would be that the bed was not very comfortable and the size was not accurate. The description stated a queen size bed but it definitely felt like a twin size. Otherwise, the view and overall condition made it worthwhile. Thanks

Gorgeous home and views! Note that it is a steep incline to access. Staff generously helped with bags, but we were surprised at the incline. You will need an uber or tuk tuk to access the towns. Very clean, peaceful, great amenities and very comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay outside of town. Beautiful views from bed & the patio. Not much around for food, so make sure to bring what you want to the accommodations with you! The kitchen had everything you should need to cook. Hot water was lovely in the shower.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Selene. The view over Lake Atitlan is simply gorgeous! Even more beautiful than the photos can capture :) The whole environment invites you to feel good and also the team around Gabriel was super friendly and helpful! Even with a flat tire, the guys were there to help us. Thank you! Other questions and requests were also responded to quickly and reliably. As a tip: In the "Restaurante y Cafeteria Vista Bella" down the street you can eat well and with the Tultuks you can quickly get to Santa Catarina and Panajachel. We highly recommend the place and would definitely come back!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Casa Selene. Der Blick auf den Atitlan See ist einfach  traumhaft schön! Noch schöner als die Fotos es einfangen können :) Die ganze Umgebung lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein und auch das Team um Gabriel herum war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Selbst bei einer Reifenpanne standen uns die Jungs mit Tatkraft zur Seite. Vielen Dank! Auch auf andere Fragen und Wünsche wurde schnell und zuverlässig reagiert. Als Tipp: Im " Restaurante y Cafeteria Vista Bella" unten an der Straße kann man  gut essen gehen und mit den Tultuks ist man schnell in Santa Catarina und Panajachel. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen und würden definitiv wiederkommen!

The place is perfect to rest and enjoy the sunsets over the lake. Restaurants are within walking distance of the complex, and hosts can provide contact information for other restaurants or transportation recommendations. A very safe place worth visiting

Lovely little apartment with everything you need. Beautiful views and top service from the hosts. Shower with high water pressure (fantastic!). A bit off the beaten track, but easily accessible by tuk-tuk.

Great place to stay. Just a reminder that the place is up hill and requires some mobility to get to the room. no suitable for people with mobility issues.

I had an amazing stay here! The place was beautiful, spotless, and had a stunning view. Communication was fast and easy, and Leo the co-host was outstanding—so helpful and friendly. This was truly a wonderful experience.

My stay with Gabriel began on 11/30 and I checked out on today, 12/5. The place has breathtaking views of Lake Antitlan. The place was spotless. Gabriel was attentive, proactive, and always checked to make sure I didn’t need anything (toiletries, tuk tuk, excursions, directions, etc.). What I loved is that the location of this particular place is away from it all so I could just relax. When I wanted a bit more action, I’d go into Panajachel for a little while before returning. So, if you’re looking for an amazing host, absolutely stunning views, peace, quiet, and access to local towns via quick transportation, this is the place to be. One note that others have mentioned and I will echo, is that the property is on a STEEP hill. I didn’t mind because the views are so worth it but it is something to consider, although the host met me and assured me that if at any point I needed assistance, they’d be right there and they always were. excellent place for a relaxing stay.   waking up to an elevated view of the lake and 3 volcanoes is magical.  very quiet for peaceful stay.  well equipped apartment if you plan to cook or do work.  easy to get to Panajachel for 25q.  they are happy to call tuk tuk or Uber works in the morning until 7pm.    very steep climb for some apartments but the reward is the view

I absolutely loved my stay here! The view alone is breathtaking, truly one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever woken up to. The place was even better than the photos and exceeded all of my expectations. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time.

This was probably my favorite Airbnb experience ever. The hosts are so helpful and responsive. The view is simply stunning. Pictures sincerely do not do it justice. 100/10 stars sincerely. Please note that it is up a hill so if you have luggage’s or unable to walk it. Great experience would come back!

Very nice view and nice place but we didn't have silence when sleeping at night and in the morning, because during the night there was prolonged noise from the water pump and at 9 am someone was making noises with railing pipes on the 3rd level.

Beautiful and peaceful place with excellent water pressure and a very responsive host. I would have loved to stay a few more nights! The Wi-Fi went down for a few hours, and cell reception is limited, but the reception desk down the hill was very helpful and quickly resolved the issue.

Views were breathtaking and staff was superb!  Views are exactly as shown in pictures. Marlies was very attentive. She would schedule outgoing and incoming tuk tuk’s for us so there were never surprises as to price, and drivers were very cordial. Room was pristine and very comfortable. Leonardo and Rolando were very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I do recommend that one take into account that it is located on an incline but views are worth it.

The location was awesome. Located between two bigger towns, it’s a small residential area with a few homes. Felt very safe and quiet. You are a 10min ride from panajachel where you can get the boats to travel around the lake. Home was very clean and the perfect location for a getaway. Can’t recommend enough

It’s a lovely place with astonishing views. The unit itself is beautiful, but the road to it is not well designed. Sharp curves that allow only small vehicles. A normal pick up truck had a hard time turning around and had to go down in reverse in very tight curves. Beware if you drive a bigger than average size vehicle.

We had an amazing time at this spacious apartment with a stunning view — honestly, the view alone makes it worth it! The apartment was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed: a microwave, oven, blender, and even basic supplies like oil and sugar. The bathroom was clean and functional as well. One morning, we had no hot water, but as soon as we messaged the hosts, they responded quickly and fixed it right away. As a kind gesture for the inconvenience, they even came and prepared us breakfast in the kitchen on our last morning — truly outstanding service! From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to help us. We were in contact with them during our arrival, and when our shuttle dropped us off, a tuk-tuk was already waiting for us. Once we reached the accommodation (which is up a steep hill), someone met us and even helped carry our luggage up. When we left, they arranged a shuttle for us and drove us to the departure point.

Nestled at the top of a hill in Santa Catarina Palopo with just a short Tuk Tuk ride into Panajachel. The Airbnb has a view of Lake Atitlan that is out of this world! Clean Airbnb with all the amenities needed, clear instructions and an extremely responsive cohost! Marlies was patient, kind and helpful with our many questions lol. The Airbnb is situated on a steep hill and may be a barrier for those who have mobility concerns. However, we had support with carrying our luggage up and down the property. The bed accommodates individuals who enjoy firm mattresses, if that is not you, you may have a challenging time resting. This Airbnb was a lovely way to experience all that Lake Atitlan has to offer 💜

A home with a beautiful lake view. The entrance to the place is quite steep and narrow, you have to be careful if you have low vehicles. It's a pretty quiet place without the hustle and bustle of Panajachel, but it doesn't have direct access to the lake and there are no amenities on the premises unfortunately. The room is quite spacious, large bed and windows overlooking the lake, a little dirty because they were making some arrangements inside the premises. It has plenty of appliances that make the stay easier, I would recommend bringing food as supermarkets or restaurants are 10-15 minutes away by car. Overall we had a good stay and I would just like them to improve their pillows, in addition to checking the refrigerator that makes loud noises that bother you at night.

Un alojamiento con una vista hermosa al lago. La entrada al lugar es bastante inclinada y reducida, hay que tener precaución si tienen vehículos bajos. Es un lugar bastante tranquilo sin el bullicio de Panajachel, pero no cuenta con acceso directo al lago y no hay ninguna amenidad en las instalaciones lastimosamente. La habitación es bastante amplia, cama grande y con ventanales con vista al lago, un poco sucios debido a que estaban realizando unos arreglos dentro de las instalaciones. Cuenta con bastantes electrodomésticos que hacen la estadía más sencilla, recomendaría llevar comida ya que los supermercados o restaurantes están a 10-15min en carro. En general tuvimos una buena estadía y solamente quisiera que mejorarán sus almohadas, además de revisar el refrigerador que hace ruidos fuertes que molestan durante la noche.
