Luxurious "Balinese" Eco-Villa With Amazing Views

In Villa Pica Flora, our beautiful 4,200 sq ft home straddles a ridge with breath-taking 270 degree views soaring over valleys below and near-constant breezes. With only ten homes on the ridge, we enjoy quiet security, the purest of air and the best weather in the world! Our home was designed and furnished to be our luxurious retreat. No expense was spared to make it casually comfortable and environmentally friendly. The rooms are spacious and high ceilings beamed with gorgeous wood. The space The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 king beds, 1 Queen bed and a King Sofabed. In a typical day, you awake in the Balinese four-posted Tempur-Pedic king bed. The valley below is at your feet. Hawks soar below while hummingbirds and butterflies argue over the verbena flowers. One of you pads down the curved staircase to work out in the gym or do some laps in the pool before breakfast. Perhaps one of you lounges in the Eames chair waiting for superb coffee to be brought to you. Soon you spot the toucans squawking in the cecropia tree below. Time to eat. Your kitchen is a cook’s dream and huge. Gleaming French copper cookware dangles from a rack and the drawers are filled with every necessary pot, pan and device. First, you need to push a button on the Jura coffee machine to truly enjoy Atenas award-winning coffee. Be sure to enjoy fresh fruit from our 30+ fruit trees and herbs from the kitchen garden. Notice the amazing 3x1 meter table that is a single piece of Balinese teak. Take in the marketplace painting and choose where to have breakfast. Here? Outside by the pool? What to do today? Relax? Call a masseuse for a long massage. Notice the living room and the Murano glass chandelier. It is often used for yoga or a call a masseuse. You will have discovered the study which may offer massage privacy. The leather couch converts into a very comfortable king size bed. When not sleeping in the study, the TV is connected to awesome speakers. You can tap into the home theater from your device or simply play the music of your choice with Amazon music. In the kitchen and master bedroom, Alexa will obey your commands. Better yet, listen to the warblers perched outside. The study closes off for a very comfortable guest suite. The adjacent bath has an open air tub and an interior garden with orchids galore. The laundry also features a built-in ironing board and new washer & dryer. Had a long day? A swim would be nice - adjoining houses have no view of the terrace or pool. Want to see the sunset? Go across the street to our bench with the drink of your choice and watch the sunset. Want something more private. Retire to the master bath and fill the tub to overflowing and supervise the sunset. Time for bed? Open the window for a gentle breeze. Nod off with the valleys below twinkling at your feet and the rufous nightjars calling for their lovers. Guest access Excepting the owner's closet, guests have full access to the entire home, office, gym and pool. Other things to note Mi casa, su casa. We live here. It is our principal home and equipped with every convenience and comfort. It was designed to be environmentally friendly. We enjoy solar water heat and offset our electric charges with solar panels. Uninterrupted electricity and water are built into the design. Passive features keep you comfortable by absorbing heat and cooling the house with front water feature in front and double infinity pool suspended over the eastern slope. Carefully engineered overhangs and slightly tinted windows keep the home light without a the fishbowl effect. Most of the people that you will encounter in Costa Rica are fully vaccinated. The Delta variant at last notice (Sept. 1) is rare and principally along the Panama border. Our amazing housekeeper, Mayra López and her daughter are both fully vaccinated. As is the massage lady that comes to the house for massages by the pool. We do not have air conditioning and find that with the consistent breeze and open layout it is not necessary.
