We’ve been planning to stay at Honour House for 2+ years and COVID kept interfering. For our kids (18/15/12), the anticipation was through the roof. The house lived up to everything we thought it would be . . . which is high praise because we had been looking at the beautiful pictures for 2+ years. The house is absolutely wonderful and more beautiful in person than online. Our personal highlights: a group of monkeys came through one morning around 9. One sat in a tree at eye-level ~20 feet off the porch. Lots of toucans and other birds in the morning, sitting with the doors open watching the sun go down in the afternoon. The kids had the upstairs rooms and loved their views. Only small drawback: the road up is a bit tough in places. We had a 4D vehicle, so the road actually became a highlight for us as we tore up down it each day at all hours. I would not try the road without 4WD.

Great view!!! Great Space.... just far away from anything if you want to walk.... we did have fun, beautiful pool, needs a microwave and had a great cappuccino maker!!!! Needs better furniture

We had a few challenges, to be specific it was concerning some items mentioned as amenities that were not there, but even more so some major items that were there which were in serious disrepair or simply not working at all. Just a suggestion, confirm before booking what is and is not working as far as the amenities. Most of the furniture, indoor and outdoor, was really beat up and not comfortable at all, however the bed we slept in was okay. To the owners credit, he did work with us to try and make it right, but we still feel we did not get the value we expected from a house listed as a luxury home. What we can say in a positive note is that the PM Jorge was great to us, the cleaning ladies did a great job, and this being our third time in CR in the last 11 months, we can say there are very few places that have a view as great as this one. We are not saying don't stay here, just do extra due diligence to ensure what you are getting.

Where do I begin? This place was hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. Jerad and Jorge were very hospitable and provided assistance throughout the entire booking process. The house in itself was more than amazing. Overall I can’t say enough. Most definitely book and get a 4x4 SUV!!!

Honour House was a stunning modern gem on a secluded hillside. As others have mentioned, 4x4 is absolutely necessary, but the roads are fine (typical Costa Rican off- roading). The kitchen has everything you need to cover all your cooking needs, the bathrooms are stunning, and the views are incredible. The pool was delightful, and the washer + dryer were a welcome treat after spending some time in the rainforest and on the beach. Last but not least, Jorgé was very helpful, and the wifi was fine for 6 people. We would stay again and would recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for beauty and relaxation.

Très jolie maison, super vue. Emplacement exceptionnel. Bon équipement au niveau de la maison mais quelques chaises mériteraient d’être remplacées.
