We offer a room with a private balcony, with a spectacular window facing the mountains and the Gulf of Nicoya in the Pacific coast. Located in William´s coffee farm, you may explore around using the private trails. It is the ideal place to get immersed in the coffee world and learn about this precious beans production. The space Spectacular view and tranquility Guest access Has a small refrigerator, private bath and balcony. You may sit at the rocking chairs in the family´s house front! Other things to note As we are right next to the forest, beware of insects that could crawl into the room just like they usually do in houses in the tropics! During December- February it could get a little windy in the area! This could be a relaxing noise for some but annoying for others! We also offer: Breakfast, lunch or dinner for $12. These would be local ingredient dishes. We may please you with the menu of your preference depending on ingredient availability! My dad and sister are great cooks!

Most amazing time at Wil’s and his family, definitely the highlight of our trip! The house has a beautiful view (pictures don’t give it justice) and surroundings, it’s super peaceful! Wil and his family were super welcoming (especially his father who is super nice), we felt at home straight away. The food was great and they gave us a little of very useful tips on the area (nice unknown reserves, road advice..) and a super interesting coffee tour. The kids were super super cute and nice ! Location indeed requires a 4WD, but that’s for everywhere in the country so it should not be an issue when one plans his/her trip there, and the instructions to the house were very precise so it was easy to find! Overall an amazing stay! Thank you again!!!

When in / around Monte Verde, Wil's cabana is a good choice. overlooking San Luis Valley and mountains. the view is hard to match elsewhere. The cabana is new and crisp. it is next to their home, sharing the outdoor space which was a blast for our toddler as she could play with theirs. Wil is very knowledgeable about coffee, having his own microlot farm with great coffee! Closeby is their coffee bar Kaffi, a must visit as well.

Un lugar con una vista increíble. Muy hermoso. La compañía del dueño de casa también fue un placer. Nos llevó a conocer su finca y aprendimos mucho. Una hermosa experiencia

Wil, the host, is truly one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Since the cabin is located just outside of town, we opted for a home-cooked meal for $12 per person—and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous, delicious, and made entirely with organic ingredients from his own farm. We had the chance to meet Wil’s kids and grandkids, and our children had a great time playing together on the swings. Communicating with Wil was also a fun opportunity to practice our Spanish, as he doesn’t speak English. The cabin itself offers stunning views of the valley and mountains, often with breathtaking rainbows. It’s a unique and authentic experience—one that left us with a new friend we hope to see again someday.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It exceeded expectations in every way. The views were stunning. Wilfredy and his family welcomed us into their family. Would definitely recommend enjoying some meals with the family and spending time with them - they are so welcoming!! Also stop by Kaffi, their coffee shop, downtown. Some of the best coffee (and croissants) I’ve had.

Highly recommend this place to stay in Monteverde! The host was super welcoming when we arrived and was kind throughout. The place is as described with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. To note, having a car or using taxi’s is most likely needed to stay here. There wasn’t really any restaurants or places to walk to without driving into the main township.

Just the most wonderful stay on Wilfredy’s family farm. They are a lovely family and made my daughter feel right at home. Highly recommend doing a coffee tour of the farm and also make a visit to their coffee shop Kaffi, in town at an art gallery.

We had a fabulous time getting to explore the area and getting to know William. It felt like a true Costa Rican experience. As long as you anticipate bugs (it’s the rain forest) and it being a bit of “glamping”, you’ll love it.

Ne manquez pas cet endroit enchanteur et sa famille accueillante et généreuse pour faire un passage mémorable au MonteVerde. La visite de la plantation ainsi que les quelques repas partagés avec la famille ont rendu cette expérience encore plus spéciale.
