The Space
“Our Beachfront Bungalow” offers an ideal setting for a romantic escape or family vacation directly on Punta Uva Beach. Wake up to the sound of the ocean and enjoy coffee on the front veranda while watching the waves roll onto the sand.
The bungalow sits near a private cove, with snorkeling, surfing, swimming, and relaxing just steps from the house. The newly remodeled home includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and quality amenities for a comfortable stay.

Outdoor Areas
The garden features winding footpaths surrounded by exotic tropical plants and fruit trees. A private trail through the coconut palms leads directly to the beach and warm turquoise Caribbean waters.

Playa Grande, a nearby surfing area, is only a few hundred yards away. Approximately 50 yards from the house, a trail leads up the bluff through a forest filled with massive century-old trees and abundant wildlife. The route includes a hidden tunnel through a cave and ends at a viewpoint overlooking the coastline to the north and south.
About 100 yards in the opposite direction, a local beachside bar and restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including highly recommended seafood specialties.

The property is located within the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. Guests can arrange a variety of outdoor and wildlife experiences, including:

Transportation

Very nice and clean house. Right at the beach which was THE BEST thing about this place. The beach is beautiful and easy to swim for a good swimmer. Not too many people although it’s a public beach. The beach is clean. And the people keep it clean. The house is clean and well kept. Had a very nice and relaxing stay. Thank you casas del caribe 🌷

Beautiful place just steps from Punta Uva public beach! Secure grounds, clean and cool home. Comfy beds, A/C, nice showers. We really enjoyed our stay! We visited Jaguar Rescue Center and Ara Manzanillo (the Green Macaw Rescue Center) both about a 10 minute drive. We made meals at the house and went to Arrecife Bar & Restaurant, just a short walk up the playa. Yum! Every morning we had howler monkeys, macaws, toucans, various songbirds, lizards, iguanas, giant crickets, & crabs. We didn’t see a sloth but other people said there was one on the beach access road. The waves on this beach are rough but we enjoyed swimming and body surfing. Friendly locals. We bought the handmade jewelry and the cold coconuts they were selling up and down the beach. My wife got her hair braided and a massage the first day. They didn’t bother us too much the rest of the time. And the sweet little black cat greeted us and stayed nearby the whole time. The kids loved her.

La propiedad es única y es al frente del mar lo cuál hace que la experiencia sea bastante agradable. Los anfitriones mantuvieron una comunicación constante y no tuvimos ningún problema. La casa estaba en buenas condiciones y tenía lo que ocupábamos para pasar tiempo en familia. Recomiendo esta casa para cualquiera que quiera ir a Puerto Viejo en general o si busca que sea en Punta Uva.

El lugar es precioso, con acceso a una playa de ensueño. Desde el inicio la comunicación fue buena y rápida. La casa impecable. Definitivamente volvería a ir

Una casa ideal para descansar y pasarla bien con una increíble playa al frente, mucho espacio para poder jugar con tu mascota y también pasarla muy bien haciendo una parrillada y escuchando el Mar al fondo. Lo recomiendo 20/10

Nos fue súper bien. Las instrucciones fueron claras y la ubicación es única y espectacular. En la primera noche llovió demasiado en la madrugada y una gotera empezó a caer en el cuarto principal, justo sobre la cama; hicimos el reporte y a la mañana siguiente los anfitriones mandaron personal a revisar/reparar. Definitivamente volveremos, nos encanta esa playa y la casa realmente muy muy linda, relajante y segura. Recomendada al 100%

The best part about this place is the location. It is beautiful. We loved the beach. It was quiet and restful. The beach was significantly busier on Saturday and Sunday but didn't bother us.
