Villa Ipcorroye, Cabin with access to the Fortuna River

The property was beautiful, sitting out at night we saw lightening bugs, in the morning beautiful birds and river. The location was great! Not right in the hub bub of the busy area, only five minutes drive into town. Things to keep in mind so you are prepared There is no indoor sitting area, only outdoor table and chairs, so bring mosquito repellent!! Nothing the host has control over lol. There is no oven for cooking but you have microwave, a small cook top and a coffee pot, so you are golden as long as you are prepared. Loved the hot water for the shower! Valeria was an excellent communicator and very clear with instructions. Enjoy your oasis in Arenal area!

Wow! Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this property! Everywhere you look, there’s something beautiful to see. The many different plants, the jungle with wildlife, the river in the back. Just amazing. The house had everything we needed. Only draw back, was a broken bedroom window that owner knew about but didn’t address. We put a piece of cardboard up in place to keep all the wildlife out. Also, we spent a good half hour deep scrubbing the coffee maker. We are a coffee loving family, couldn’t go without a brew. Highly recommend and will return in future.

El lugar donde se encuentra la cabañita es hermoso! Privado y lejos del bullicio. La cabaña está bonita y con lo necesario para estar cómodos. Teniendo carro se puede ir a muchos puntos turísticos desde ahí y está cerca del área donde está la Iglesia de La Fortuna y muchos restaurantes y tiendas de souvenirs. Yo disfruté muchísimo el despertar en las mañanas, salir y sentarme a escuchar y ver la gran variedad de aves hermosas que andan alrededor y también escuchar el río, el cual está hermoso! Recomiendo mucho este lugar! ❤️

We stayed for almost a month and had an amazing stay! Beautiful, safe, and private accommodations with private access to a trail that leads directly to Rio Fortuna! Easily walkable to a handful of restaurants and a mini market w essentials. Just a couple minute drive to the center of La Fortuna.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet endroit sympathique près de la rivière et dans la nature. Nous avons passé de beaux moments en famille. Ce fut un petit paradis très ressourçant pour nous. Le calme et les sons de la nature nous ont fait du bien. Merci pour votre accueil et votre grande communication.

Un lugar magico, lleno de paz, de naturaleza, lugar pefecto para convivir con la naturaleza, vimos muchos tucanes, ranas, un armadillo, muchos diferentes tipos de pajaros. Mucha area verde donde mis hijos aprovecharon cada rincon, el acceso al rio lo mejor, varios dias no necesitamos salir ya que el mismo lugar lo tiene todo. Pero ademas su ubicacion es perfecta, muchisimas cosas por hacer en menos de 15 minutos de distancia. La familia anfitriona nos ayudo tantisimo durante toda nuestra estancia, siempre tan amables y atentos. Corrimos con mucha suerte encontrar este lugar, si la vida nos lo permite regresaremos muy pronto.

We had a great time at Valeria’s place! The cottage was easy to find and instructions to get inside were clear. We enjoyed spending time outside by the creek and on the patio. Keep in mind the cottage doesn’t have AC but the fans provided kept us cool at night (in early March). Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Arenal area.

Valeria's house was just perfect for our La Fortuna getaway. the location is very peaceful & quiet, yet just a short drive from downtown. we really enjoyed the rancho and cooking on the grill. Highly recommended!

I can’t imagine that there might be any better place around La Fortuna, that nice house is situated in a wonderful green tropical garden close to a refreshing river. Valeria and her family are the most hospitable hosts you can imagine and we can totally recommend that paradise to everyone!
