A covered outdoor kitchen area with gas barbeque grill, sink, tiled countertops, and custom built bar and stools allows you to enjoy the scenery rain or shine. The porch swing is perfect for just finding a place to wind down. Wake up from your master bedroom to the beautiful view of the volcano! The second bedroom has 2 full sized beds and a private bath. This was the absolutely perfect house for us! Amazing location close to so many of our activities.... the La Fortuna Waterfall is just down the street, the North Fields coffee tour, the rope swing all so close! We enjoyed the restaurants near the house and relaxing in the pool at night! Jimmy and his team were extremely responsive and had great suggestions for things to do and help us with scheduling. House was cute. It's not big, but Costa Rica is too beautiful to be inside! The yard and view were perfect! Will definitely recommend this house to friends who travel to La Fortuna. Pura Vida!

A comfortable home in a great and quiet location half way between town and the waterfall, with good restaurants, a small super market and water holes for swimming close by, within walking distance really. My kids especially enjoyed the large outdoor space and the pool and we enjoyed using the bbq grill and the outdoor dining area after long days of participating in the numerous activities one can partake in around the La Fortuna area. All in all, a good value and experience.

The house was a wonderful place to stay while in la Fortuna. The house was so close to restaurants and activities. The house felt safe inside and outside. We had everything we needed during our stay. The pool was nice and the view of the volcano was amazing when the clouds cleared. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our stay with Jimmy at Blue Morpho Casita was fantastic! The house was perfect for our family of 4. Jimmy sent us recommendations for activities during our stay and also offered discounts. In our 4 days we were able to do all the things we wanted with his help: hot springs, hike the 1968 Trail, Northfields Coffee/Chocolate/Sugar Tour, swim in the pools beneath La Fortuna Waterfall, zip line across La Fortuna, and cross the suspension bridges at Mistico Park. Jimmy was very attentive and responsive. The pool was perfect for swimming in after our long days hiking. We spent everyday in the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The house was a bit difficult to find on the first day but luckily a local restaurant allowed us to patch into their WiFi to reconnect Waze. I couldn’t recommend Jimmy and Blue Morpho Casita more.

The Good: -It is in a great location, 3-5 minutes by car to restaurants, grocery stores, and more. Hot springs and outdoor activities are 10-20 minutes away. -The space is ideal for a small family with two cozy bedrooms and an open living area. While it could technically fit six, four would be more comfortable. -The outdoor area is lovely with a pool, a covered kitchen with bar seating, a grassy area for kids, and parking for four cars. The Bad (Upkeep/Maintenance Issues): - The AC in the living room leaked condensate on arrival, soaking the wall, curtains, and couch. Despite promises of repairs, nothing was done, leaving seating limited to two. - Inside, the unit had cleanliness issues with ants in the kitchen, sticky dishes and a broken toilet seat. - The outdoor space showed neglect with mold on the concrete wall, peeling paint on the pool, weeds, and a rusty, sticky grill. The broken gate motor made the gate hard to open, especially in wet conditions.

Jimmy, the host, was really accommodating. We had some unexpected delays on our journey to La Fortuna that caused us to miss our first activity. Jimmy was able to move our reservation to the next day. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time staying here for our first time in Costa Rica! The inside was immaculate and the pool was a nice addition. Very close to restaurants and fun activities. Would definitely stay here again!
